  • Ethnic Self-Consciousness of Students and its Development in the Process of Studying the Discipline «Theory and Methods of Ethnocultural Education»

    Abstract:
    The article examines the problems of the formation of ethnic self-awareness of university students in the process of teaching the discipline «Theory and methods of ethnocultural education». The relevance of the study is determined by the state policy that elevates culture to the rank of national priorities and recognizes it as the most important factor in the harmonization of public relations, the guarantor of the preservation of a single cultural space and territorial integrity. The purpose of the article is to consider the issues of content-methodological and educational plan in the formation and development of ethnic self-consciousness of students of higher educational institutions in the process of teaching the dissertation "Theory and methodology of ethno-cultural education". The analysis of normative-legal and legislative acts in the field of culture and education, observation, and the method of generalization of pedagogical experience allowed us to identify effective forms and means of ethno-cultural education of students. The data of a sociological survey conducted before and after studying the discipline "Theory and methodology of ethno-cultural education" among students of the training direction "Folk Art Culture" of the Chuvash State Institute of Culture and Arts are presented in the article. Based on the data obtained by such criteria as the level of formation of ethnonigilism, ethnic indifference, positive ethnic identity, ethno-egoism, ethno-isolationism, ethno-fanaticism, conclusions were drawn about the positive result of the study and recommendations were made for the development of ethnic self-knowledge of students in the course of studying the discipline "Theory and Methodology of ethno-cultural education".

    Abstract:
    The article raises the issues of digitalization of relations in the field of education. The authors point to the problems that arise in the course of organizing the educational process at a university in the context of the widespread introduction of a self-isolation regime and the transition of educational organizations to remote methods of teaching and other classes. The analysis of the problem is carried out both from the position of a higher school teacher and a teacher of a secondary general education school. This approach allows researchers to correlate the views that exist in various social communities and determine the most effective actions for the dynamic development of modern education in Russia.

    Abstract:
    This article analyzes the phenomenon of dolls in the process of transition from the traditional type of society to the postindustrial one. The authors outline that being a kind of mirror of the era, the doll phenomenon is inextricably linked with cultural norms and values, all social experience, which determined the stability and continuity of various activities. It is also noted that in the process of historical development, the image of the doll undergoes transformation, as does the image of the person himself. The inclusion by the authors the axiological characteristics of the doll phenomenon in the worldview coordinates of cosmo- and anthropocentrism makes it possible to reveal their new quality. The consideration of the doll as a phenomenon from this methodological position opens up new possibilities in understanding the existential essence of man himself. The purpose of the article is to analyze one of the most relevant aspects of the doll phenomenon in modern conditions – a qualitative change in its axiological content and significance in culture. Research methods: historical-comparative and semiotic. The result of the study is the identification of significant changes in the role of dolls in modern culture. It is emphasized that the value orientations of secular society and a desacralized, materialistic worldview result in dehumanization and objectification of the person himself with a pronounced desire to revitalize and humanize the doll. The development of anthropocentric attitudes has reached its limits, as evidenced by the shift in the semantics of dolls into the field of purely formal, external relations and meanings.

  • Ethno-Cultural Code of Altai

    Abstract:
    The article reveals the essence of the ethno-cultural code of the indigenous people of Altai, based on a complex of stable worldview concepts: the mythologema of the crossroads, the filosofeme “Jol” (“Path”), the sacral center concepts, etc., which make up the framework of the spiritual system of the nomadic peoples of Eurasia – Tengrianism. The study exposes key markers of the mentality of the indigenous inhabitants of Altai, manifested both in everyday life and in ritual practices; their actualization in the current sociocultural situation is substantiated and their potential for developing a strategy for the sociocultural development of the region, based on the integration of the biosphere and noosphere potential of the territory with its cultural code is revealed. It is emphasized that the mentality of the Altai people is free from religious and political dogmas; it is sensitive to changes that occur in the natural and social environment; it is focused on events occurring today. Methods. The methods of structural and functional and semiotic analysis were applied in the study. It is concluded that the sacral centers on the territory of Altai are of great significance in modern conditions, so the new model of socio-economic development of the region – the noosphere model – is based on the synthesis of science, ecology, veneration of the holy places of their people, ethno-cultural diversity and natural laws of social structure as the basis for the stability of life.

  • The Phenomenon of Culture in the Philosophy of the French Enlightenment

    Abstract:
    The most relevant features of the French Enlightenment are studied in the article. One of the features is ambivalence, that was expressed in most of the theoretical judgments by representatives of the era. The main ideas of the French Enlightenment are presented through the prism of the historical formation of the basic concepts: nature, human brain, culture. It is emphasized that the main achievement of the enlighteners in the cultural reformation of society was to combat religious and moral prejudices. It is noted that the value of enlighteners is in their innovative attempt to create a progressive model of cultural development based on a naturalistic and mechanical and deterministic picture of the world. The philosophical and cultural analysis revealed the internal dynamics of the enlighteners' ideas from civilizational optimism to criticism of civilizational progress. It is concluded that the philosophical and theoretical legacy of the Enlightenment, in the framework of the development of a single paradigm, is integral, logical and actually complete, that made the most use of its methodological and heuristic potential.

    Abstract:
    The authors outline that the church reform of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich and Patriarch Nikon, adopted in 1650–1660, introduced the ideology of Old Orthodoxy or Old Believers into the world. It is noted that the need for uniformity of the liturgical rank of the Russian Church with the Church of Constantinople (Greek Church) brought a split into the country and forced believers to leave not just the cities and villages, but also Russia itself. This research is devoted to the study of the currents of the Old Believers and their place of residence abroad. The authors come to the conclusion that presentation of the most complete, truthful and realistic picture of faith revival of the ancestors of old Russia, their ideology and worldview, emphasized by personalized individualism in the affairs of followers who left their native places is the resistance of a true believer’s nature.

    The work is aimed at resolving the question: «How is «human metaphysics» possible?» The necessity of establishing an independent disciplinary status of this branch of metaphysics is substantiated. The contradictory constitution of its objectivity is shown: the subject is given through the metaphysical effort of man; the method is essentially identical to the subject. Human metaphysics acts as a process of realization of the metaphysical essence of man and at the same time as a reflection of this process, the theory of metaphysics. The following are distinguished as the basis of the theory of human metaphysics: the idea of the metaphysical essence of man and the idea of man as the ontological basis of existence. They form respectively two main trends of «human metaphysics»: philosophical-anthropological and ontological. In addition to them, epistemological, socio-philosophical, ethical trends were identified; the development of the last two of them is most in demand today.

    The article is devoted to the ecology of cognitive-educational space of the digital age. The author points out that the need to obtain information from the outside world is one of the biological needs of man. The information environment is becoming the main habitat of modern man, spreading to all areas, including the educational one. The author wonders how digital educational technologies influence the formation of critical thinking, mental performance, the ability to be at ease with a lot of information and choose the right one from it? The author comes to the conclusion emphasizing that providing new opportunities for mastering knowledge, information society technologies often have a negative impact on the formation of consciousness and thinking of the younger generation and at the same time the impact of digital technology can lead to a change in the «cognitive portrait» of mankind, stimulating the development of emotional intelligence.

    The article deals with the complex of issues of civil society influence on the formation and activity of the Armed Forces of the state. Based on practical examples, the author considers the specifics of the professionalization of the army in Latin America, draws Parallels with the Russian Federation. An important common feature of Russia and Latin America, the author believes hypertrophied public attention to the Armed Forces. In the Latin American States, which no one is going to attack, the army is perceived as a symbol of statehood, the value of the guarantee of its sovereignty, it is exalted, the officer corps is respected.     The proposed notes address the moral aspects of social dialogue between political and spiritual authority. The authors conclude that genuine dialogue is built on the basis of mutual understanding, interaction around common goals, mutual trust and mutual responsibility. All parties to the dialogue should seek a common language, leading to a reasonable compromise, rejection of traditional monologism, destructive egoism and repetition of the facts of glaring injustice.     The article discusses the conceptual signs of a paradigm shift in the modern scientific and pedagogical outlook in relation to psychological and phenomenological aspects of the perspectives of competence-based education. An attempt is made in outlining of the methodological specificities of the educational paradigm in the context of conditions of realization of Federal state educational standards of the third generation. The significance of the psychological aspects of technologies of mass communication in the paradigm of formation of professional competence of the specialist was conclusively determined.
