    Abstract:
    Gender stereotypes play an important role in ethnocultural identity. The article analyzes the concept of gender stereotypes, the features of such essential characteristics of gender stereotypes as "masculinity" and "femininity". The levels of gender stereotypes and their current distribution are revealed. Two concepts have emerged regarding the transformation of gender stereotypes in modern culture: radical-feminist and moderate-feminist. In the process of transforming gender stereotypes such essential features as the level of economic development of the country, its regional location, the preservation of traditional national cultures and the influence of religion on society are considered.

    Abstract:
    The author outlines that nowadays, the question of the influence of gender stereotypes on the role and participation of Kyrgyz women in politics, from a linguistic point of view, has been little studied in Kyrgyzstan. The article is devoted to the ethnocultural traditions and gender stereotypes of the Kyrgyz society that affect the activity and involvement of women in the political life of the state. The author pays attention to the role of Kyrgyz women in the history of the country, examines Kyrgyz proverbs and folk clichés, which are the folk heritage of the people. The purpose of the article is to identify ethnocultural factors that determine the gender roles of men and women, as well as their impact on society. Research methods. During the study a descriptive method was applied. The following folklore materials were taken as a basis: Kyrgyz proverbs from "Kyrgyz makal, lakap, uchkul sozdoru" by M. Ibragimov, traditional rules of relationships between people of different ages and genders, principles of youth upbringing. As a result of the analysis, the author concludes that the traditions and stereotypes of Kyrgyz society endow men and women with gender traditional roles: a man plays a major role in the family, in society and is engaged in “male affairs”, while a woman is assigned a secondary role, she only deals with home and family. It is emphasized that such attitudes largely limit the political activity of women.

    Abstract:
    В статье автор рассматривает лингвокультурологический аспект изучения словарного состава языка, формирования языковой личности с учетом национально-культурной специфики картины мира, которая наиболее ярко отражается в пословицах и поговорках. Автор сравнивает английские, русские, немецкие и казахские пословицы и поговорки, касающиеся общечеловеческих и этнокультурных ценностей этих народов. Автор подчеркивает также необходимость использования пословиц и поговорок в процессе преподавания учебных дисциплин, так как это помогает развитию межкультурного и межъязыкового общения и способствует межкультурной интеграции. Автор подчеркивает, что лингвокультурные особенности той или иной языковой общности необходимо тщательно анализировать. Изучение, анализ и принятие этих особенностей закладывает основы межкультурной коммуникации, базовой частью которой является социокультурная компетенция. Основой же для формирования социокультурной компетенции является знание национально-культурных особенностей своего народа. Автор приходит к выводу, что национальная лингвокультурологическая система – это существенная основа – ориентир бытия народа, в силу чего освоение ее обучающимся должно быть определено общей универсальной задачей всех учебных дисциплин. Лишь в этом случае мы сможем говорить об эффективном межкультурном взаимодействии и интеграции культур.

  • Statics and Dynamics of Ethnic Autostereotypes of Uzbek Youth (On the Experience of a Fifteen-Year Historical Cross-Section)

    Abstract:
    The comparative results of the 15-year study on stereotypical associations regarding the ethnonym “Uzbeks” among uzbek youth are presented in the article. Methods. The main components of the content of the ethnic autostereotype of uzbek youth at the beginning of our century (2003–2005) and today are revealed by the method of associative experiment. Comparative analysis of the results of the association experiment in the context of 15 years showed a significant increase in the role of “personal traits” in the characteristics of their ethnic group, as opposed to a sharp reduction in the share of traditional activities and their products. Results. It is pointed out that despite the fact that the concepts related to national clothing retain their leading positions (for example “tyubeteika”, “atlas”, etc.) and objects of national life (“lagan”, “tandyr” etc.), the strengthening of ethnic self-perception through the historical prism and geographical features was recorded, which may be a consequence of active educational work, which focusing on historical achievements and the special geostrategic position of the country. It is concluded that the results obtained can be a sign of noticeable shifts in the national consciousness of uzbek youth, which are manifested in the shift of attention from the external attributes of the traditional way of life of the ethnic group to the internal composition of these formal features.
