  • Improving the effectiveness of the learning curriculum on children's railways through the development of environmental literacy and inclusive creative technologies

    Abstract:
    The article describes an educational project aimed at increasing student engagement and consolidating educational material through the practical use of secondary resources. The author describes the experience of creating thematic dioramas as a means of visual representation of the studied sections of the program. Special emphasis is placed on the possibility of children with disabilities participating in the project, which made it possible to implement an inclusive approach to learning. The project was implemented as part of optional classes on the Sverdlovsk Children's Railway for five months. The participants used recycled materials such as cardboard boxes, old brushes, wires, book covers, etc. – as well as elements of modern technologies, including 3D printing. The work contributed to the development of creative, engineering and environmental thinking, communication skills and teamwork. The results showed the effectiveness of the method: children were actively involved in the learning process, showed independence and initiative, and also increased the level of understanding of the educational material. The project confirmed the potential of using accessible materials and inclusive practices to form sustainable knowledge and value orientations among students.

  • Analysis of methodological approaches to teaching biology at a medical university

    Abstract:
    We studied 30 years of experience of traditional medical school, as well as some trends in reforming the methods of teaching natural sciences. The importance of teaching biology to medical students remains undeniable; currently, there are current debates about the methods of teaching theoretical disciplines, including biology. We described various approaches to teaching: a teacher-oriented approach, a student-oriented approach, problem-oriented learning, discipline-based learning, integrated learning. According to the results of the student survey, it was revealed that 93.2% consider the discipline «biology» to be necessary in a medical university, 75% are satisfied with their results in studying the discipline, 82.4% consider a conversation with a teacher to be the preferred format for studying the discipline, 51.1% of respondents prefer an oral survey as an assessment tool, 79.1% of students are satisfied with practical work with a microscope. For optimal work, it is recommended to practice each of these approaches and apply them in everyday teaching activities. An individual approach to students, combined with the use of up-to-date teaching technologies, takes the teaching of fundamental disciplines to a new level, where classical and modern teaching methods are combined.

  • Psychological and pedagogical support for families with children with disabilities

    Abstract:
    The chapter is devoted to the current topic of psychological and pedagogical support for families raising children with disabilities. With the growing opportunities for inclusive education, comprehensive support for such families, which often face emotional burnout, social isolation, and a shortage of qualified care, is of particular importance. The chapter analyzes modern approaches to family support, including digital technologies (online consultations, virtual reality), interdisciplinary interaction and involvement of parents in the rehabilitation process. Special attention is paid to the evolution of support services: from the emergence of the medical model of the 19th century to the modern paradigm of inclusion, where the family becomes an active participant and generator of the entire process of helping a child with disabilities. Effective technologies (BOS therapy, virtual reality and its simulators, lecture library), support stages and functions of specialists are considered. It has been proven that resorting to a resource-based approach aimed at post-traumatic growth of parents, combined with family-centered methods (success diaries, support groups, including virtual ones) significantly increase the effectiveness of children's adaptation. The chapter offers practical recommendations on the organization of support, including a combination of stationary and remote forms of work with the family of a child with disabilities. The need for a balance between innovative and traditional approaches to overcoming the key problems of the rehabilitation process is emphasized: the shortage of specialists, technological barriers and stigmatization.

    The article analyzes the main theoretical approaches to the implementation of modern technologies in opera productions. Conclusions are made about the synthetic nature of opera art, which allows searching for and implementing innovative directorial ideas. At the same time, another facet of opera is highlighted – its traditional nature, which does not allow radically transforming the original musical genres. Taking into account this contradiction, the most effective innovative technologies are substantiated, ensuring the spectacle and preservation of the cultural and historical experience of opera art.

    Abstract:
    The article discusses modern approaches to foreign language teaching, emphasizing the use of virtual excursions as an effective method that promotes the development of language and cultural skills. Virtual excursions, which utilize contemporary digital technologies such as 3D modeling and augmented reality, provide learners with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the language environment and broaden their cultural horizons, which is vital in the context of international communication. The aim of the study is to demonstrate the potential of using virtual excursions in foreign language teaching at a non-linguistic university. The research was conducted at the Yakovlev’s University, where future teachers participated in a series of virtual excursions focusing on the history and culture of Great Britain. The research methodology included surveys, observations, and semi-structured interviews, allowing an assessment of the students’ language preparedness and engagement before and after the implementation of the innovative teaching method. The results showed a significant improvement in language skills, perception of authentic audio and video materials, as well as knowledge of the cultural aspects of the studied language countries.

    The article examines current approaches to diagnosing the perceptual sphere in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The importance of a comprehensive study of sensory processing is substantiated as a key element in developing effective correctional and developmental programs. Diagnostic methods are presented, including both traditional approaches (observation, psychodiagnostic tasks, rating scales) and modern tools (questionnaires, neurophysiological and digital technologies). Emphasis is placed on the need for an individualized approach when selecting diagnostic tools based on the child's age, developmental level, and sensory profile.

    This chapter presents the experience of using some modern educational technologies as a means of increasing students' motivation for learning. Motivation plays a decisive role, is the leading and system-forming link in the structure of a student's educational activity, acting as a stable factor in its success. The chapter also notes the special role assigned to independent work of students, which is one of the key ones in mastering the disciplines of the natural science cycle. Options for independent work of students are proposed, aimed at high practical orientation, helping to arouse great interest in students. The following educational technologies are considered: interactive, distance learning resources, problem-based learning, student-centered and modular learning, the use of which increases the quality of knowledge, skills and abilities received by the student.     The chapter is devoted to digital innovations and technologies that open up wide opportunities for agricultural production: management and monitoring of facilities in remote areas, herd management, monitoring of basic vital signs of animals, monitoring the accuracy of fertilizer application, forecasting adverse natural phenomena, maintaining distributed databases on land purchase and lease transactions, and others relevant directions. Industry 4.0 involves the active use of the latest digital technologies, tools and services in the daily activities of a modern agricultural engineer, agronomist, animal technician, veterinarian and other industry specialists. The author consider the process of active digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex industry as an inevitable way of forming a digital footprint, which can have a negative impact on the formation of the carbon footprint and the environment as a whole. Direct and indirect ways to minimize the carbon footprint by reducing the digital footprint in agricultural production are described. In conclusion, the conclusions are formulated that digital technologies contribute to improving the efficiency of modern digital agricultural production: presentation of information in various forms, automation of calculations, analysis of large amounts of data, decision support, etc. Limitations are also highlighted: uneven wireless coverage in agriculture, difficulties in maintenance and repair of robots and unmanned aerial vehicles, cybersecurity, lack of a legal framework, and a low level of digital culture.

    This article examines the evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) in the educational sector, focusing on its key developmental stages. The author explores the significant ways in which AI has transformed education by enabling personalized learning, enhancing the overall quality of education, increasing access to a variety of educational resources, and relieving educators from repetitive and time-consuming tasks. AI has proven effective in adapting to the diverse needs of students, fostering individualized learning experiences, and promoting more efficient teaching methods. However, the article also addresses important concerns, such as ethical issues, data privacy risks, and the dangers of over-automation, which could undermine the human element in education. Despite these challenges, the author argues that AI has the potential to greatly improve educational processes. It is essential, however, to ensure that AI is used as a supportive tool for teachers and students rather than a substitute, with careful consideration of its implications for the future of education.
