- The chapter analyzes the activities of the congresses of teachers and teachers of geography of Russia at the beginning of the XX and XXI centuries. The results of the participation of delegates and participants at the Congress of Geography Teachers in 1915 and the All-Russian Congresses of Geography Teachers in 2011 and 2016 are characterized, the dynamics of changes in the topics of the congresses are analyzed, the issues of the methodology of teaching geography at school, forming the concept of school geographical education in Russia are touched upon.

Actual Problems of the Formation of an Individual Methodological Style of Teacher Activity

- Abstract:
- In the light of changes in the goals of education at the present stage, there is a change in the requirements for the professional activity of the teacher, his personal and individual qualities. The article demonstrates the results of an empirical study of the individual methodological style of teacher activity. The diagnostic criteria of the methodical style are described. The interpretation of the results obtained during the analysis of teacher questionnaires is presented. Their obvious ambiguity indicates the presence of contradictions in the aspect of understanding and self-diagnosis by teachers of the individual methodological style of the teacher's activity. Examples of variable manifestations of the proposed answers are given, normative characteristics of this professional and personal indicator are given. The article is analytical in nature.

- Автор отмечает, что в настоящее время учитель должен самостоятельно разрабатывать рабочую программу учебного предмета, в соответствии с которой он будет осуществлять обучение. Как правило, учителя при этом стараются ориентироваться на учебник. К сожалению, материально-техническое оснащение кабинетов технологии в школах зачастую не соответствует содержанию учебников, что приводит к некоторым затруднениям при разработке рабочей программы. В статье говорится, что для решения данной проблемы педагог может использовать свой профессиональный и творческий потенциал.
