    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the image of women in modern Kazakh literature. The analysis is carried out by studying the works of female authors and their contribution to the creation of these images. The main objects of consideration are Ayagul Mantai, Torgyn Zholdasbekovna, Asylzat Arystanbek and their works. The purpose of the study is to reveal the image of women in modern Kazakh literature, to determine the contribution of women authors, and to study the changes that the image of women has undergone. If earlier male writers prevailed in literature, now the number of female writers is growing. It was hypothesized that an increase in the contribution of women authors to literature will lead to the development of public consciousness and the image of women.

    Abstract:
    The 19th century was a period of active development of women's education in Russia. It resulted in the formation of a wide network of women's educational institutions of various types and types in the country. Diocesan women's schools have taken an important place among them. Having originally appeared as charity shelters for orphaned girls, they have grown into women's theological schools. Their goal was not only charity, but also to provide priestly daughters with an education appropriate to their future mission. With the growth of social educational needs in Russia, the role of women's theological educational institutions has also significantly increased. Diocesan women's schools have become accessible to receive high-quality general education not only for children of clergymen, but also for poor parents of other classes. By providing their pupils with the right to teach, they have become one of the main sources of replenishment of the education system by well-trained teachers.

    Women's education is the most important direction in solving the «women's issue», especially relevant for the XIX century. The peculiarity of the formation of women's education in Russia consisted in its benevolent support from the highest state authorities. Evidence of this is the long-term activity of the Department of the Institutions of the Empress Maria. The purpose of the study is to establish the importance of the Department as a unique structure in the formation and gradual development of women's education in Russia, to identify the effectiveness of the measures taken. Sources of research: state documents published in the XIX – early XX centuries, reports of institutions and organizations, reviews, various kinds of journalistic materials.

    Abstract:
    The purpose of the article is to study the journalistic materials published in the second half of the XIX – early XX centuries related to the coverage of the women's issue in Russia, to identify on their basis approaches to solving the problems of the formation and development of women's education, to trace trends in their public perception, to compare their positions. Materials on the women's issue and women's education as its most important component, published in the second half of the XIX – early XX centuries. They belong not only to famous public figures, writers, but also to those for whom journalism has become a new experience. The issues of the formation and development of women's education as one of the most important components of the women's issue were widely covered in the journalistic literature of the period under study. It reflected various positions on this issue that have developed in society. The study of literature allowed us to understand more deeply the essence of the public mood of that time, to feel the emotional intensity, to accept the results closer. The analysis of the source material showed that the ranks of the participants of the women's movement and its supporters became increasingly growing and active. Despite the gradual reduction in the number of opponents, their struggle, taking various forms, has been dealing significant blows for many decades, holding back possible successes. A special place in public life was occupied by liberals, whose activities were mainly verbal statements.

    Abstract:
    Modern Chuvash literature, like other national literatures, is developing in many ways. This is clearly shown by those works in which new phenomena are formed that were previously alien to the literature of the Soviet period. The relevance of the article is connected with the need to determine the place and role of the concept of "women's prose" in Chuvash artistic creativity. The artistic world of Chuvash literature is primarily based on the worldview of the people and the uniqueness of the Chuvash language. Therefore, very often typical phenomena of Russian and world literature for the Chuvash literature become insignificant. In this regard, the purpose of the study was to present arguments in favor of the statement that the aesthetic world of the work is not directly related to the author's gender. The subject of the research in this article is the prose works of Chuvash women writers (Yu. Silem, U. Elmen, R. Prokopieva). In the course of the study, the following results were obtained: the writer's worldview includes many components, the most significant of them are the gender and nationality of the author; the concept of "women's prose" is not relevant for Chuvash literature, since it manifests itself only within the framework of individual works and is mainly associated with philosophical, psychological and lyrical the style of the writer.

    The metaparadigmal approach to the analysis of conditions for the formation of social and cultural activity serves as a methodological basis for the study of modern transformations in the field of women's recreational leisure. Using this approach, new experimental data on effective conditions for the formation of subjective activity of women of the second period of adulthood, showing the importance of not only conditions, but also means of pedagogical regulation of social activity of women of mature age are presented in the article. The sources and incentives of manifestations of subjective activity as a complex structural formation of the individual that determine the selective, creative orientation of women in the field of recreational leisure are studied in detail. Ways of involving female workers of local self-government bodies in the system of healthy lifestyle and recreation practices were tested.

    Abstract:
    In the context of modern gender studies the paper analyzes the features of women's everyday life and survival in extreme conditions of the First World War and the Great Patriotic War. The aim of the study is a comprehensive study of women's behavior patterns, features of women's perception of front-line reality during world wars. The priority in this study was micro-historical approach, the use of which allowed to determine the peculiarities of military women's everyday life through the personal perception of the realities of the time of specific woman. The study is based on the principles of historicism, scientific objectivity and system-functional analysis, according to which the daily life of women during the First world war and the great Patriotic war is considered by the authors taking into account the "background of the era", the diversity of forms and dynamics of the country. In addition, comparative-historical and descriptive methods were used in solving research problems. A special place in the methodology of the study is taken by the gender approach. As a result of research the comparative analysis of features of women's daily life in the conditions of the First World and Great Patriotic War is carried out, the degree of their participation in both wars is defined, characteristic features of adaptation of women to conditions of wartime are revealed.
