    Abstract:
    The chapter deals with the issues of meaning-oriented education in higher school. It proves the relevance and significance of such education for the preparation of future specialists to solve professional problems. Within the framework of the concept developed by the author, the essence of the concepts "understanding", "case of understanding", meaning, "meaning-activity", "text-material ", "task for meaning" are revealed. The didactic resource of case of understanding and procedures of meaning-activity is considered. The chapter reveals the author's point of view on the content of the case of understanding as a specific developing environment.
