  • The Nizhny Novgorod Chemical Plant by Z.M. Persitz as the "flagship" of salolin production in pre-revolutionary Russia

    Abstract:
    In this article, an attempt is made to briefly and very superficially study the organization of the production of salolin on an industrial scale at the Nizhny Novgorod Chemical Plant of Z.M. Persitz in 1909-1912. The author reveals the relationship of chemistry and the chemical industry with industrial development. The importance of salolin, which acted as not only the most important raw material for various industries, but also was a socially significant product, at least at the beginning of the 20th century, is demonstrated. It is concluded that due to the successful development of the production of salolin, the Nizhny Novgorod Chemical Plant Z.M. Persitz has become one of the most advanced and high-tech industries of global importance.

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the legal regulation of relations in the dynamically developing field of exhibition, fair, and congress activities (EFCA) in the Russian Federation. The relevance of the topic is due to the significant economic and image potential of this field, its role in stimulating entrepreneurship and developing international relations, as well as the existence of significant gaps in its legal support. The purpose of the study is to identify systemic problems in the legal regulation of EFCA and, based on this, to develop proposals for improving the current legislation. The work uses general scientific and specific scientific research methods: analysis, synthesis, a systematic approach, formal legal and comparative legal methods. The author comes to the conclusion about the fragmented and decentralized nature of the legal regulation of VYAKD, which is carried out by the norms of civil, land, urban planning and administrative law.

    Abstract:
    The article addresses the pressing issue of skilled labor shortage in the metallurgical industry, caused by workforce aging and declining youth interest in industrial professions. An innovative approach to training future metallurgists is proposed through the introduction of the course "Formation of Professional Self-Awareness of the Future Metallurgist," based on the author's "Self-Awareness Development System." Particular emphasis is placed on developing personal maturity, conscious career choice, and a stable professional self-concept among students. To address workforce attrition, the retraining of older specialists via the "Instructor of Special Additional Education Courses" program is also proposed, fostering intergenerational knowledge transfer. The implementation of these initiatives could enhance the attractiveness of the profession, strengthen education-industry collaboration, and ensure sustainable development of the metallurgical sector

    Abstract:
    The relevance of the study is due to the total trend towards digitalization in the Russian Federation, which covers a wide range of sectors of the national economy. The purpose of the study is to identify trends in the development of industrial ecosystems in the context of the total implementation of digital technologies and the need to ensure technological sovereignty. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is empirical (expert assessments, study of production experience) and theoretical (system analysis, categorical analysis, comparison, generalization, decision-making) methods. The chapter discusses the main reasons for the transition to a new stage in the development of industry and the economy of the Russian Federation. The main advantages of digital industrial ecosystems are formulated. The tools that ensure the functioning of digital industrial ecosystems are described and examples of their successful implementation are given. Based on the analysis of publications of domestic scientists, strategies for the further development of digital industrial ecosystems are proposed.

    Abstract:
    The purpose of the study is to develop a structural and functional model for training young highly qualified specialists with the necessary knowledge, competencies and practical experience in the area of activity of the enterprise (organization). The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is made up of empirical (expert assessments, study of teaching experience, experiment) and theoretical (system analysis, historical analogy, categorical analysis, comparison, generalization, decision making) methods. Also, when summarizing the research results, the method of statistical indicators was used, as well as methods of visual presentation of information. As a result of the study, analyzed literary sources and reviews of domestic and foreign authors on the formation and functioning of basic departments at enterprises. Based on the analysis, as well as in the interests of implementing the strategic goals of the basic department, the author proposed a three-level structural and functional model for training highly qualified specialists in the «school-university-enterprise» system.

    The article examines the issues of socio-economic development of the region using the Republic of Mordovia as an example. External shocks that Mordovia faced had a significant impact on the dynamics and results of socio-economic development of the region. The study involved statistical data from the territorial body of Rosstat for the Republic of Mordovia, data from various ratings of Russian regions, and materials from the authorities of the Republic of Mordovia, which made it possible to identify the following most pressing problems of regional development: low rates of economic growth, small volume of industrial production, shortage of investment resources of the workforce, unfavorable demographic situation, low standard of living.

The article analyzes the current state of tourism in Russia, with an emphasis on the southern regions, and also highlights the need to find effective solutions to restore the attractiveness of resorts and create competitive offers for travelers.     The chapter examines the issues of supply-side economics development based on an ecosystem approach and in the context of sectoral development. The reasons for the initiation of the national supply economy model as the best model of economic development in the new economic reality are revealed. The issues of supply theory are touched upon, the essence and experience of applying the supply-side economics model are considered. The differences between the classical model of the supply economy and the emerging model of the national supply economy are determined. The conditions of the contour of the new supply-side economy model corresponding to technological and economic transformations in the country are systematized. Attention is focused on the sectoral construct of the supply-side economics model in industry. Proven and proven mechanisms of digital platforms and ecosystems are proposed. The characteristics of the industry platform ecosystem with the selection of digital services corresponding to the tasks of production development as the basis of the supply economy are given.

В статье Г.И. Воловник представлен и как талантливый лектор, постоянно работавший над доступностью изложения методов очистки воды, и как плодовитый автор учебных пособий, предложивший новые методические подходы к изложению специальных дисциплин профиля «Водоснабжение и водоотведение» и описавший оригинальные методики в области эксплуатации и реконструкции инженерных сооружений. На конкретных примерах показано, как печатные труды Г.И. Воловника сыграли большую роль в практике преподавания и в дальнейшем развитии методической работы кафедры «Гидравлика и водоснабжение» ДВГУПС.

    Abstract:
    The chapter discusses the managerial aspects of the development of new technologies at enterprises of the Russian defense industry in the digital economy. The relevance of the study is determined by several circumstances. Firstly, it is the market of anti-UAVs that has been studied to a lesser extent than the UAVs themselves. Drones, both as a military solution and as civil technologies, are currently in the focus of attention of the scientific and professional community. At the same time, systems aimed at countering UAVs do not receive due attention. Secondly, for military-technical cooperation of the Russian Federation, the market of anti-UAVS is of great interest: since UAVs themselves are being adopted almost everywhere, it can be expected that in the near future the market will require appropriate solutions aimed at countering these systems. Thirdly, the international arms market itself is in a constant state of change, and these changes should receive proper scientific assessment.

    The article discusses the concept of the development of automobile tourism in Russia until 2035. This type of tourism plays an important role in the country's economy, contributing to the development of infrastructure, job creation and increasing the attractiveness of the regions. The concept involves the creation of comfortable and safe conditions for traveling on highways, improving the quality of road services and accessibility of tourist facilities. Special attention is paid to the development of new routes and the creation of infrastructure for automobile tourism. The implementation of the concept will take place in two stages. At the first stage (2024-2025), it is planned to develop a program for the development of automobile tourism, identify routes and create infrastructure. At the second stage (2025-2035), it is planned to improve legislation, increase the number of routes and infrastructure facilities, as well as assess the quality of services provided.

    This paper examines the prospects for the development of the tourism industry in Russia, identifies the main problems hindering its successful functioning, and suggests ways to eliminate them. The study is based on an analysis of the current state of the tourism infrastructure, the study of the needs and preferences of potential tourists, as well as an assessment of the effectiveness of existing measures to support and develop tourism. In the course of the work, methods of comparative analysis, statistical research, as well as expert assessments and surveys were used.     Abstract:
    The chapter studies the key performance indicators of tourism and hospitality industry enterprises in the region. The segmentation of enterprises according to the value of financial and economic indicators and its comparison with the average industry value is carried out. Depending on the number of indicators exceeding the industry average value, groups of enterprises (group 1 – "green zone", group 2 – "blue zone", group 3 – "yellow zone", group 4 – "red zone") were singled out and brief recommendations for the development of activity in each group were formulated. The research methods include selection, organisation, table, graphic and calculation methods; comparison, segmentation, grouping, evaluation.

    The creation of added value in early industrialized countries is currently defined by the transition to the fourth stage of industrialization, known as Industry 4.0. This development follows the third industrial revolution, which began in the early 1970s and relied on electronics and information technologies to achieve a high level of production automation. If information was the main element in the production function of post-industrial economies, then data is the key element in Industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 is characterized by the use of digital technologies, 'smart' concepts, ensuring continuous connectivity among all process participants, efficiency, and adherence to principles of sustainable development.
