- Abstract:
- The article raises the issue of using innovative learning technologies, high-tech simulation equipment in the process of training future doctors. These technologies significantly improve the quality of education, contribute to the formation of professional competencies and clinical thinking, and also help to acquire the skills necessary for the activity of a healthcare professional. The purpose of the scientific work is to clarify the attitude of medical students to the use of simulation learning technologies and their readiness to use them in the educational process. To achieve this goal, a two-part questionnaire was conducted. The first part of the questionnaire was aimed at assessing the respondents' attitude to work in a high–tech environment, the second part was aimed at clarifying the attitude of students to various technologies in simulation training centers. The results of the survey showed that the vast majority of medical students are aware of the need to use simulation technologies in the educational process, as they allow them to master therapeutic and diagnostic manipulations without involving patients. There is no doubt that innovative learning technologies are an integral part of the educational process. The results obtained convince us that simulation training centers create the necessary safe environment for both medical students and patients, and also help to accumulate experience that will later be applied by young specialists in their medical practice.

- Abstract:
- This study examines the potential and significance of the partnership project method in facilitating the adaptation of international students, as well as the development of their external connections and social environment within the context of Russian society. The paper presents a student partnership project organized by the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at Perm State Medical University and the Department of Foreign Languages at HSE University Perm. The project is executed through practice-oriented inter-university collaboration. Its objectives address interconnected challenges: firstly, the Indian student community in Perm remains isolated and inadequately integrated into the city's cultural and linguistic milieu. Secondly, residents of Perm and students at local universities have limited understanding of the living and educational experiences of the substantial number of international students residing in the city. The significance of the inter-university project lies in providing Perm and Indian students with opportunities to engage with one another, exchange cultural knowledge, establish both friendly and professional communication, and collaborate on the creation of a joint creative product. This initiative fosters interethnic dialogue and enhances the communication skills and intercultural competence of future professionals.

- Work direction:
- Глава 5
- Abstract:
- The study of gender differences in the academic engagement of university students is necessary for the targeted use of various educational technologies in the educational process in higher education. In this regard, it is important to conduct a comparative analysis of the components of engagement in higher education among girls and boys. The study used the methods «Emoticons» (Gizhitsky, 2016), «Diagnostics of student learning motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014), «Self-assessment of emotional and personal well-being» (Karapetyan, Glotova, 2020), pilot author's questionnaires «Inclusiveness in learning sessions», «Academic microdeviations» and «Self-report on academic performance». 263 university students aged 16–25 (202 girls and 61 boys) took part in the study conducted by an online survey. The Mann-Whitney U-test was used in data processing. The results of the study revealed that according to the indicators of academic engagement of students, more directly related to learning, there are no gender differences, and the belonging of girls and boys to the same socio-demographic group – «studentship» comes to the fore, since the norms and requirements for higher school students do not differentiate depending on the gender of students; gender differences were found in indicators of academic engagement, which are more indirectly related to learning, since these differences are largely due to the influence of spontaneous and purposeful impacts from broader layers of society, such as family upbringing, communication in peer reference groups, the impact of mass media and the Internet, including information and psychological technologies of social engineering.

Analysis of the theory and practice of students' adaptation to interactive learning technologies
Research Article
Development of education Volume 7 No 3- Authors:

- Pedagogy and Modern Education
- Abstract:
- The article provides a retrospective analysis of various approaches to the adaptation of students in an interactive educational environment. The characteristics of each of the analyzed approaches highlight the specifics of students' adaptation to the conditions of an interactive learning environment. The purpose of the article is to analyze the theory and practice of students' adaptation to an interactive educational environment. A comparative analysis of various scientific approaches to the adaptation of students to the educational process has allowed us to define pedagogical processes as synergetic systems in which unstable, unexpected and unpredictable situations are constantly created that require an adequate operational response from students. Consideration of pedagogical processes as synergetic systems leads to the need to use interactive educational technologies in the educational process. In an interactive educational environment, adaptation does not manifest itself in a traditional academic form, but takes the form of preadaptation, which requires students to quickly search, build and regulate their attitude and behavior, adequately changing the conditions of the educational environment. Based on the analysis of the dynamics of the development of interactive learning technologies in the study, meaning-creating educational technologies have been experimentally developed and substantiated, allowing creating conditions in the educational process for the openness of thoughts, ideas and meanings of students and the phenomena studied and knowledge about them. The educational technologies proposed in the article are a new direction in the development of an interactive educational environment, and their use in educational practice can significantly increase the adaptability of students to the educational environment.

- Abstract:
- The study is devoted to the analysis of the relationship between the motives of learning, measured by two methods based on different theoretical approaches, with the main regulatory processes (planning, modeling, programming, evaluation of results) and regulatory and personal properties (flexibility, independence), as well as with students' self-reports on academic performance. The study used the following methods: «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014), «Style of self-regulation of behavior – SSP-98» (Morosanova, 2000) and self-report of students on their academic performance over the past semesters. The study was conducted using an online survey in a Google form on a sample of 82 university students aged 18–29 years. Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) and factor analysis (with Varimax rotation) were used in data processing. The results of the study: multiple significant correlations of learning motives, measured by two different methods «Diagnostics of student learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation», with scales of the SSP-98 methodology were obtained; significant positive correlations of learning motives with self-report on academic performance allow us to analyze the types of students' activities that include learning activities, that requires the use of already developed educational technologies and the development of new ones in the educational process at the university.

- Abstract:
- The study is devoted to a comparative analysis of the results of using in different samples two different methods related to the study of students' learning motivation. The study used methods based on different approaches «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004) and «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014). In addition, students provided information about their academic performance over the past semesters. The study was conducted using an online survey in a Google form on a sample of 82 university students aged 18–29 years. Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) and factor analysis (with Varimax rotation) were used in data processing. The results of the study showed that the scales of the methods «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation» when used in different samples correlate quite closely with each other; the methods «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation», despite differences in their structure and terminology, allow us to assess the formation of students' learning motives; with the self-report on academic performance in the method «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» correlate, first of all, the motives of the learning of the «activity spectrum», and in the method «Scales of academic motivation» – the scale of the «internal motivation» of the learning; the joint use of the methods «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation» makes it possible to obtain a more differentiated picture of the features of the motivational sphere of students.

- Abstract:
- The study of age-related features of academic engagement of university students is relevant, since some students by the time they complete their studies do not sufficiently master the necessary knowledge and competencies. This requires an in-depth study of the phenomenon of academic engagement, its various aspects, among which the age aspect plays an important role. The study used the methods «Emoticons» (Gizhitsky, 2016), «Diagnostics of students' educational motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014), «Self-assessment of emotional and personal well-being» (Glotova, Karapetyan, 2020), pilot author's questionnaires «Inclusion in training sessions» and «Academic microdeviations». Students also provided information about their academic performance over the past semesters, age and course of study at the time of the survey. 263 university students aged 16–25 years (202 girls and 61 boys) took part in the study conducted by an online survey. The Mann-Whitney U-test and Spearman correlation analysis were used in data processing. The results showed that the age factor was largely manifested in the behavioral component of engagement in learning in both female and male samples; in the motivational and cognitive components of engagement, gender differences were found, manifested in a more pronounced effect of the age factor in girls; in the female and male samples, the effect of the age factor was not manifested in the resulting component of academic engagement, as well as in value and emotional components.

- Abstract:
- The chapter is devoted to the study of some aspects of research activities among medical university students. This topic is very relevant in view of the fact that processes of optimization and modernization are currently taking place in Russia, both of medicine in general and of medical education itself. Taking into account the fact that our country lacks qualified medical workers who would be engaged in scientific activities, there is a constant development of new programs and disciplines aimed at providing students with basic concepts about research activities, methods and options for its conduct. Such disciplines at VSMU named after. N.N. Burdenko became: «organization, conduct and registration of scientific research results in experiments and clinics» on the basis of the Department of Operative Surgery with Topographic Anatomy and «statistical processing of scientific results» on the basis of the Department of Healthcare Management. The purpose of the work was an attempt to evaluate some aspects of both the research work of students in general, and aspects related to the training of students in the above disciplines. The basis of the work was a questionnaire specially developed by the authors, containing a number of questions concerning the attitude towards students’ research activities, awareness of the advantages of conducting such activities, as well as an analysis of some aspects of the learning process when studying the above disciplines. The work is of interest not only to ordinary higher education teachers, but also to those teachers who are involved in the educational process at the university.

Features of using neural network platforms for teaching foreign languages in a non-linguistic university
Book Chapter
Theoretical and practical aspects of pedagogy and psychology- Author:
- Elena G. Liakhova
- Work direction:
- Глава 8
- Abstract:
- This study was conducted to find out the advantages and disadvantages of teaching a foreign language at a non-linguistic university using neural network platforms and to compare such training with traditional teaching of foreign languages. During the research, an analysis of the features of neural networks and learning platforms based on them was carried out. The author of the article conducted experimental training in order to compare the success of mastering lexical and grammatical foreign language material when learning on the Duolingo neural network platform with traditional foreign language teaching. As a result of the study, the author discovered that when learning on neural network platforms, students experience difficulties at the stages of forming and maintaining motivation, presenting new foreign language material, comprehending and rethinking. These difficulties are associated with the risk of cognitive devaluation of students’ memory, the Google effect, the inability of neural networks to structure information, clip thinking, and the lack of comparison of new foreign language phenomena with their analogues in the students’ native language and native culture. At the same time, in the process of experimental training, the author found that vocabulary acquisition occurs more effectively when learning on neural network platforms. In addition, according to the results of the survey, students like to study a foreign language on neural network platforms due to the abundance of game components of such learning. In conclusion, the article provides ways to mitigate and level out the identified shortcomings of learning on neural network platforms, the main of which is the organization of blended learning, in which the teacher forms and maintains student motivation, presents new foreign language material, activates students’ conceptual critical thinking with the help of appropriate exercises, and students perform lexical and grammatical exercises on the neural network platform.

- Abstract:
- The chapter considers the verb as the nuclear center of the grammar of the Russian language. Particular attention is paid to reflexive verbs, the method of their selection for study by foreign students. This is due to the fact that Russian reflexive verbs are part of speech, which is a certain difficulty for foreigners to study. The authors believe that studying the semantics and functioning of the Russian-language reflexive verb, as well as developing ways to teach foreign students how to use it in speech, it is important to focus on its position in the Russian dictionary system, the functions of phrasal organization of speech and text. It is necessary to pay attention to the complexity and relationship of grammatical categories, which are the form, tense, methods of verbal action in close adhesion with lexical meanings of verbs. An attempt is made to systematize the reflexive verbs selected for study, grouping them by topics in a more concise form.
