The article analyzes the need for an approach to the organization of teaching elements of combinatorics at school, aimed at the formation of cognitive ECD. Based on the study of scientific, psychological, pedagogical, methodological literature, the process of formation of cognitive universal educational actions in mathematics lessons has been studied.
