в статье рассматривается необходимость использования городских зелёных насаждений в образовательном процессе школьной географии в условиях малого города (на примере г. Ирбита Свердловской области). Рассматривается история создания городских зелёных насаждений как элемента экологического каркаса, проанализированы категории зеленых насаждений. Сделаны выводы о потенциальной возможности использования отдельных элементов экологического каркаса города в учебно-воспитательном процессе, в частности при изучении школьной географии.
