Abstract: In this article, the author analyzes two main problems that have become widespread due to the digitalization of society: the lack of digital hygiene and the idealization of the virtual space, which lead to serious threats, including threats of material (property) damage. Self-defense is a basic tool provided to every individual that allows them to ensure their safety in the virtual space.
