  • The role of information flow in shaping the "consumer society"

    Abstract:
    Currently, the social, economic, and moral problems of the "consumer society" are increasingly being explored. The article discusses the postulate that the economic behavior of modern society is greatly facilitated by the mass media, which were originally created to form an idea of "correct behavior", about fashion, about cultural preferences, and for some time now the media have begun to guide the "economic behavior" of an individual. By analyzing the content of the leading media, the paper proves that the development of industrial production required the dissemination of information about goods; corporate communication projects appeared in mass media, and in the last half century all publications have been advertising goods and services; it was the media that made the process of purchasing goods as convenient as possible, which proves the close connection between mass communication and the emergence of a "consumer society".

    Abstract:
    The 21st century can be characterized as a time of progressive development in science and technology. This process has affected all spheres of activity: innovative models of various technologies are increasingly appearing on the market, in medicine – prosthetics and artificial organs, in transportation – electric cars and driverless vehicles, in agriculture – the genetic modification of crops. Scientific and technological progress has not bypassed the spheres of law and economics, synthesizing them to neutralize new risks. In the context of a modern market economy, the need to improve the level of protection for business entities is growing, as the digitalization process accelerates, new large-scale systems, applications, and platforms emerge that carry not only positive aspects but also risks for businesses. These risks are mitigated through the symbiosis of law and economics – through economic and legal analysis.

    Abstract:
    In the context of active digitalisation of public administration, the study of problems and prospects for the provision of services through multifunctional centres (MFC) becomes particularly relevant. The purpose of the article is to analyse the effectiveness of the current MFC model, identify key problem areas and develop practical recommendations for their optimisation in the context of the digital transformation of the region. The methodological basis was the analysis of the regulatory framework, statistical data of the MFC's activities, as well as the method of expert evaluation. As a result of the study, system barriers were identified that limit the potential of the MFC as a driver of digital changes: fragmentation of IT infrastructure, staff shortage and the need to improve quality assessment metrics.     The study focuses on the analysis of the application of digital platforms as a tool for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the extreme climatic conditions of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The study analyzes the features of the digital transformation of SMEs in the Arctic territories, identifies the barriers to the implementation of digital solutions, and identifies promising areas for the development of digital business support infrastructure in the context of geographical isolation and harsh climatic conditions.     Based on the existing developments of the Digital Economy national project, it can be said that, despite the problems that arise at the beginning of working with new software, the often difficult adaptation of personnel, the lack of sufficient professional personnel at the initial stage of software implementation, as well as other problematic issues, the global process of import substitution in the Russian Federation cannot be stopped. It is the study of this process that forms the basis of the proposed material. Based on the selection of criteria for the management algorithms of the Kaluga Astral group of companies working in the field of information technology, new innovative ways of development are being sought, and non-standard solutions are being proposed to improve the existing management system.

    Abstract:
    Over the past three years, neural networks and other artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have become one of the most discussed topics in education, from school to university. This article examines the main uses of neural networks in the educational process, analyzing their key benefits (personalization, automation of everyday tasks, expanding access to knowledge) and risks (ethical issues, substitution of independent work, digital divide, unreliable information). Based on an analysis of modern scientific and educational literature, it shows how neural networks are changing education and what conditions are necessary for their safe and effective implementation. The research methods include analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, comparison of approaches by different authors, and practical examples.

    The authors note that the current stage of development of digital technologies and the global Internet has led to a profound transformation of the system of turnover and protection of intellectual property objects, increased access to digital content and easier copying have led to an increase in the number of copyright violations, including illegal reproduction, distribution and modification of works. The authors draw attention to the cross-border nature of the Internet, which creates additional difficulties in determining the applicable law and jurisdiction of competent authorities, and the anonymity of users and the lack of uniform international regulatory standards make it difficult to implement effective protection mechanisms.     The article discusses the issue of introducing virtual laboratories and simulations into the educational process of higher education institutions, in particular, in teaching information technology and computer science. The author does not agree with the approach in which virtual environments are positioned as a direct replacement for traditional physical practices. Instead, the need for a transition to a complementary or hybrid model is justified, where virtual and physical laboratories are used together, reinforcing each other's advantages. The paper analyzes the unique advantages of each format: tactile experience and working with physical limitations in real laboratories, as well as the safety, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of virtual simulators. It describes a two-stage hybrid learning model that combines theoretical modeling in a virtual environment with subsequent practice on real equipment.     Abstract:
    This article addresses the problem of activating the cognitive activity of high school students in the process of preparing for the OGE, or the Basic State Exam in Mathematics, through the use of digital tools. A review of scientific works dedicated to both the activation of students' cognitive activity and the use of digital tools for this purpose has been conducted. The authors examine three aspects that encourage high school students to use digital tools in their exam preparation: 1) motivational; 2) the opportunity to independently identify problems, formulate hypotheses, and control their actions; 3) the achievement of new educational results that are difficult or impossible to obtain in traditional forms. As a result, a classification of digital tools and platforms such as Uchi.ru, Reshu OGE, Online Test Pad, FIPI, "YaKlass," and "Foxford" is presented, along with their advantages and disadvantages.     The article examines the dynamics of distribution and new mechanisms of formation of Internet-addictive behavior among Russian adolescents aged 13–17 in 2024–2025. Based on the generalization of 46 modern Russian and foreign studies and content analysis of 200 anonymous posts of adolescents in social networks (VKontakte, Telegram, TikTok) for October–November 2025, the leading triggers of addiction (short vertical videos, online games, constant messenger notifications), subclinical and clinical signs, as well as risk factors are identified. A set of psychological and pedagogical measures of primary and secondary prevention adapted for school psychologists, class teachers and parents is proposed.

    The chapter examines the process of digital transformation in Russia, focusing on national projects aimed at developing digital competencies in the state, municipal, economic and social spheres until 2030. The analysis of existing approaches to the definition and classification of digital competencies is presented, key components such as digital literacy, culture and competence are highlighted. Attention is paid to the differences between digital and information competencies. Based on the analysis, the authors propose to identify three key categories in the classification of digital competencies: information, communication and technical skills. The importance of the formation of digital competencies for specialists in various industries and the need for their formation in the process of professional training in higher education institutions are discussed.

    The relevance of the study is due to the total trend towards digitalization in the Russian Federation, which covers a wide range of sectors of the national economy. The purpose of the study is to identify trends in the development of industrial ecosystems in the context of the total implementation of digital technologies and the need to ensure technological sovereignty. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is empirical (expert assessments, study of production experience) and theoretical (system analysis, categorical analysis, comparison, generalization, decision-making) methods. The chapter discusses the main reasons for the transition to a new stage in the development of industry and the economy of the Russian Federation. The main advantages of digital industrial ecosystems are formulated. The tools that ensure the functioning of digital industrial ecosystems are described and examples of their successful implementation are given. Based on the analysis of publications of domestic scientists, strategies for the further development of digital industrial ecosystems are proposed.

The article analyzes the main difficulties arising in the creation and implementation of digital content, including technological, methodological, and psychological issues. Special attention is paid to the age-related and pedagogical aspects of applying DEC at different levels of education.
