in the chapter, based on the analysis of research on the problem of cognitive development of older preschoolers and a poly-artistic approach, the consistency of organizing cognitive activities of older preschool children based on poly-artistic activities is substantiated. A pedagogical model of the methodology of cognitive activity development is presented, definitions of sensory stimulus and artistic talent as the main components in the structure of educational activity of older preschoolers are given.
