the chapter demonstrates the implementation of mentorship programs as one of the ways to optimize the process and outcomes of academic and educational work in accordance with higher education (HE) programs. At the outset of the study, essential characteristics are given to such basic concepts as «mentorship," «mentor," and «mentee."
