Annotation

The aim of the study is to identify the extent to which parental anxiety affects the motor activity indicators of preschool‑age children. The average daily number of steps taken by children in the middle and older preschool age groups was calculated, and the level of parental anxiety was assessed using the Spielberg–Khanin scale. The extent to which the level of anxiety affects motor activity indicators was determined using correlation analysis. It revealed a high degree of dependence: the higher the level of parental anxiety, the lower the pedometry indicators in children.
