    Abstract:
    The article compares the conditions for the formation of social causality in older preschool children in two fundamentally different environments: family and boarding school. Social causality is considered as a key cognitive ability that allows children to analyze cause-and-effect relationships in interpersonal relationships, predict the behavior of others, and adapt to society. Based on theoretical analysis and empirical data, the article reveals the deprivation mechanisms that hinder the successful development of this phenomenon in institutional settings. The article substantiates the thesis that a family environment rich in emotional connections and stable interactions creates unique prerequisites for the development of a child's social intelligence that cannot be replicated in an orphanage.

    The chapter is devoted to an urgent and socially significant problem of the formation of ideas about adult work in older preschool children. Currently, the state's social order in education is aimed at developing a socially active and responsible personality of a preschool child who loves work and is capable of transforming the world around him. The main goal of labor education is to develop preschool children's work skills, a positive attitude to work, and a desire to become independent, active, responsible, disciplined, self–confident, able to cope with difficulties, and provide help and support to others.     In the article, the authors actualize the modern problem of mentoring. Interest in mentoring in education has resurfaced in the last decade. Researchers pay attention to the historical aspects of mentoring. Considering the problem of the role of mentoring in the development of preschoolers, using the context of spiritual and moral education. Mentoring is a universal pedagogical technology. Her role is not only to transfer experience, knowledge and the formation of diverse skills, but also to influence moral and spiritual values through communication and mutual trust. Spiritual and moral development is a gradual expansion of the value-semantic sphere of a personality under the influence of the processes of upbringing and socialization. The authors briefly comment on the features of this process in pre-school conditions.

  • Cognitive component of attitude to energy saving in older preschool children and primary school children

    Abstract:
    The article presents the results of a study of the cognitive component of attitudes towards energy saving among older preschoolers and younger schoolchildren. The relevance of the study is due to the unworthy attention of the education system to the issue of developing an environmental, energy-saving attitude in children, given the obvious need to form a modern person focused on rational, energy-saving behavior. The article presents the results of an empirical study based on the author's methodology to study the content of the cognitive component of attitudes towards energy saving, and describes the types of motives for energy saving in children aged 5–10 years. The levels of formation of cognitive attitudes towards energy saving are identified and described. Children have an average level of formation of the cognitive component of the attitude to energy saving. Ideas about energy saving are unclear, vague. From senior preschool to junior school age, positive dynamics in the development of the cognitive component is observed. The dominant motive for energy saving is the motive of avoiding discomfort. With age, the content of ideas about energy saving is clarified and the energy saving motive itself begins to clearly stand out. With age, motives of personal benefit give way to motives of social significance. The formation of the cognitive component of the attitude to energy saving is influenced by the attitudes of adults, as well as the content of education. Mastering school subjects that cover environmental issues, as well as developing new forms of thinking in younger students, contributes to the development of a cognitive attitude towards energy conservation.

    Abstract:
    This article presents the results of a study of the relationship between the level of self-esteem and the level of development of logical thinking in children of senior preschool and primary school age. It was found that in children of senior preschool age, the level of logical thinking is higher with inflated and inadequately inflated self-esteem, but primary school children demonstrate a high level of logical thinking with an adequately formed self-esteem. The results of the study indicate the presence of a significant correlation between self-esteem and logical thinking. These studies indicate that the completion of the formation of self-esteem during the transition from senior preschool age, the period of formation of logical operations, to primary school age, which is the foundation for the formation of adequate self-esteem, contributes to the harmonious development and timely formation of logical thinking.

    В статье отмечается, что старший дошкольный возраст является этапом интенсивного психического и физического развития, данный возраст характеризуется особенностью развития познавательных и мыслительных психических процессов – внимание, воображение, речь, память, мышление, восприятие. В настоящее время отмечается увеличение числа детей, которые отличаются эмоциональной неустойчивостью, повышенным беспокойством и неуверенностью (тревожность). Проблема тревожности у детей актуальна в современном обществе, в дошкольных учреждениях всё чаще возникают вопросы о состоянии детей. В связи с этим происходит поиск эффективных методов и приёмов, которые будут способствовать преодолению тревожности. Одним из методов коррекции тревожности является метод арт-терапии, который даёт положительную динамику при использовании в коррекционной работе с детьми старшего дошкольного возраста.

Literature analysis, study of the history of the formation and development of methods of speech development and literary education of pre-school students: the views of the founders of the methodology of speech development (E.I. Tikheeva, E.A. Fleerin, O.I. Soloviev, etc.) and literary education of pre-school students (M.M. Konina, L.M. Gurovich, Z.A. Gritsenko, etc.). The need for a systematic approach to work on speech development (E.I. Tikheeva), justification of the approach to the lesson as the main leading form of education (M.M. Alekseeva, V.I. Yashina), modern requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard in working with preschoolers and the views of classical teachers (E.A. Fleerin, A.P. Usova, O.A. Skorolupova), the importance of a comprehensive approach to solving speech development problems (F.A. Sokhin, O.S.
