    Abstract:
    This monograph contains a description of the innovative potential of a separate educational organization carrying out educational activities with students with intellectual disabilities, presented a portrait of the student team and analysis of the teaching staff, the normative local acts governing the educational activities of the institution with students with severe mental retardation are indicated. The authors present an exclusive software and methodological support for the development of children with severe mental retardation, reflect the system of methodical work and the direction of dissemination of pedagogical experience, the technical support necessary for the education of children with severe mental retardation, the characteristic of practical importance, educational and social effects of the implementation of innovative activity is given.

    Abstract:
    The tasks of increasing the motivation and cognitive activity of students in the process of studying the natural sciences are considered in the article. Improving traditional and introducing non-standard pedagogical technologies, improving the efficiency and quality of education in preparing students are analyzed by the author. It is shown that with the help of interdisciplinary connections, the tasks of developing natural science and practice, developing the ability of future specialists to adapt to rapidly changing production conditions are solved. The main direction of collective creativity in conducting lectures and practical exercises is interpersonal integration. It is shown that the laboratory practicum is a stimulus for the development of an integrative style of thinking.

    The article shows the problems of improving the quality of Russian education related to the understanding of the essence of competencies. In spite of the constant «updates» of the Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education (FES of HE), there is no obvious qualitative change in the solution of this problem. And first of all, it refers to what is not clear: what and how students should be taught, although the standards define that students should have the necessary competencies to perform a professional activity. However, despite numerous discussions, a clear understanding of the scientific essence of the concept of «competence», as a rule, is not given anywhere. And this today, in our opinion, is the main problem and obstacle in the qualitative improvement of the educational process in domestic universities.

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the study of the process of adaptation of students in the framework of multicultural educational environment. Objective: to consider the types of conflicts that arise in the intercultural interaction of foreign students and representatives of the indigenous ethnic group, as well as the diasporas of the country, to explore ways of acculturation to the host society. During the study, the method of questioning and discourse analysis were applied. As a result of the work, the intercultural situations of the realization of the ethnic prejudice of the communicants were studied, the difficulties were described, and the ways to overcome them were indicated. Conclusions are drawn on the need to study the process of acculturation of educational migrants both within the framework of an educational institution and to the receiving society.

    The monograph deals with issues relating to research on the socio-psychological characteristics and life prospects of the educator’s personality - concepts, history of development, methods and techniques. In order to fulfill functions and achieve good results in professional activities, an educator, possessing a set of socio-psychological features and important qualities in terms of professional, should plan his activities. The educator needs to build a future perspective and fruitfully realize his life path. According to the results of the research conducted within the framework of social psychology, the conclusion was made: the life perspective of educators is subjective and determined by the characteristics of their socio-psychological characteristics, their psychological well-being, level of resilience, specific content characteristics of the awareness of their inner world «I», of their past, present, and future. The theoretical significance of the work lies in the fact that the study presents a theoretical justification for the definition of the concepts of socio-psychological characteristics, life and time perspectives of the educator’s personality. Some features of these concepts are revealed. Practical significance is to be identified within the framework of those aspects of the problem being studied, which the authors will solve in perspective. The work is addressed to students, graduate students, teachers, researchers and practitioners in the specialty «Psychology».

    This article deals with the issue of teaching a foreign language to children with disabilities using information computer technologies.     The article deals with the state of both the general and the special methods of the Russian (native) language. From the standpoint of current requirements, the state of the methodology of teaching Russian language in typhoid pedagogy is analyzed, in particular, the work of such typhoid pedagogues as M.I. Zemtsovoy, V.A. Mylnikova, N.S. Kostyuchek, I.L. Morgaylik, as well as I.P. Chigrinova. The work identifies the range of problems to be solved. As an answer to one of such questions, a route for linguistic competence formation in blind adolescents in the process of learning Russian is proposed, aimed at the development of functional literacy and the implementation of correctional and developmental activities.

    The work covers theoretical and practical aspects of comparative studies in education systems.     In the modern context complex, stable and balanced development of the region is possible only with the presence of developed and effectively implemented regional investment policy. In this regard, there is a need for the continuous development of scientific, methodological and practical aspects of the effective formation and implementation of RIPs, the search for methods and mechanisms for attracting investment resources to the regional economy, and ensuring a favorable investment climate. The research involves general methods for studying: observation, comparison, comprehensiveness, consistency, analysis, synthesis, as well as modeling and logical approach. The study clarified the concept of “regional investment policy” and its content, identified RIP types, identified the goal, objectives and principles of RIP development and implementation, proposed a model of RIP development and implementation, disclosed factors and problems of RIP formation and implementation, improved efficiency measures process of formation and implementation of the RIP. Application of the presented approach and model makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the development and implementation of the RIP, to ensure the region’s high competitiveness, stability, security, and improved adaptation to changing conditions.

    Abstract:
    Theoretical foundations and principles of project training for students in the specialty «Journalism», as a way to motivate a journalist for the profession is studied by the authors. The concept of project training for journalists is based on the idea that training should be motivating, especially when it comes to specialized discipline. The result of such training should be considered the skills and abilities generated by students to use the new things that they received in the course of their studies. The authors summarizing their own experience and the practice of colleagues, determine the main characteristics of this method and the principles, following which allows to obtain the desired results. The definition of «project training» is given as an organization of the educational process, when the study of a course or the entire cycle of courses in a specialty is aimed at the final result obtained in the process of setting the task and its implementation. Mechanisms to achieve this goal are training, workshops, role-playing games such as focus groups. The principles of activity, research (creative) position, objectivity (awareness) of behavior and partner (subject – subject) communication are considered in detail.
