- Abstract:
- This chapter examines the role of the notariate in the mechanism for protecting constitutional human and civil rights and freedoms in the Russian Federation. The theoretical foundations of constitutional rights, duties, and freedoms, as well as their classification and the system of guarantees for their implementation, are considered. Special attention is paid to the public-law nature of the notariate, its place in the legal system, and the principles of its activity: legality, independence, impartiality, notarial secrecy, self-financing, and the national language of official records. The functions of the notariate are analyzed, including law enforcement, human rights protection, preventive, and jurisdictional functions, as well as its role in protecting the right to private property, freedom of contract, inheritance, and family rights. Based on an analysis of judicial practice and legislation, current problems of notarial activity are identified, and the prospects for the development of the notariate as an institution of preventive justice in the context of digitalization are determined.

The conceptual and terminological space for developing the problem of personal self-realization
Book Chapter
Pedagogy and psychology as sciences of building the potential of modern society- Author:
- Elena N. Shutenko
- Work direction:
- Глава 2
- Abstract:
- The study presents a conceptual-terminological analysis of the problem and category of self-realization. It reveals the methodological assumptions and key theoretical approaches to the development of self-realization issues that prevail in Western and Russian traditions of scientific reflection on phenomenology and becoming of personality. Drawing on fundamental research, the author provides a comparative presentation of the key terms that comprise the categorical field of self-realization (self-actualization, self-fulfillment, self-expression, self-affirmation, self-development). The analysis identifies two methodological poles that form a continuum of approaches and theories of self-realization: ego-centric and culture-centric. The first pole consists of theories that reduce self-realization to an immanent property of the self. The second pole consists of concepts that view self-realization as a derivative of the socio-cultural experience of productive life. The study concludes that the bipolar configuration of the conceptual space of the problem of self-realization is relevant, as it encompasses most leading approaches and theories of heuristic understanding of this problem in its holistic ontology and phenomenology.

Pedagogy and psychology as sciences of building the potential of modern society- Author:
- Ekaterina G. Saiganova
- Work direction:
- Глава 11
- Abstract:
- This chapter presents the results of a theoretical and empirical study of the psychological characteristics of students integrating academic and athletic activities in a higher education setting. The relevance of the study stems from the contradiction between the high social demand for well-rounded professionals and the insufficient understanding of the psychological mechanisms of student-athlete development in the university educational environment. The aim of the study is to identify and characterize the psychological determinants, structure, and dynamics of students' personal characteristics in the context of physical education and sports activities and to identify areas for optimizing psychological and pedagogical support for this category of students. The methodological framework is based on a subject-activity approach, the concept of personal potential, and the theory of coping behavior. The study was implemented using a combination of psychodiagnostic methods: the Self-Organization of Activity Questionnaire, the Differential Reflection Diagnostic Method, the Personality Self-Determination Scale, the Coping Strategies Questionnaire, the Keirsey Method, and the «Self-Portrait» projective technique. The sample included 140 students (50 highly skilled athletes and 90 students not involved in professional sports). Statistically significant differences in the structure of students' personal potential were identified depending on their involvement in sports activities. It was shown that athletes demonstrate higher levels of self-organization, self-determination, and a preference for constructive coping strategies. Specific personality profiles of athletes practicing aesthetic sports were identified, characterized by extroversion, perfectionism, workaholism, and demonstrativeness. A theoretical structural and functional model, «Personality Determinants of the Effectiveness of Students' Physical Education and Sports Activities," was developed. Directions for personalizing psychological and pedagogical support are substantiated, differentiated based on students' sports specialization and individual psychological characteristics. The materials in this chapter can be used in the activities of university psychological services and in the training of coaches and teachers.

- Abstract:

The dispositional approach to understanding client behavior is discussed, along with its significance for facilitating sustainable professional change. The paper presents a procedural model for integrating the Big Five framework into coaching practice, including stages of assessment, hypothesis formulation, intervention design, and evaluation of change dynamics. Based on the analysis of the authors’ practical coaching experience, it is demonstrated that awareness of an individual’s personality profile contributes to the development of metacognitive awareness, reduces the recurrence of maladaptive behavioral patterns, and supports the formation of more sustainable behavioral strategies. The article presents the methodology of coach-competent mentoring, aimed at developing entrepreneurial thinking through the design of an individual strategy. The concept of an "internal compass" is introduced as a tool for reconciling actions with a planned financial result. Special attention is paid to the dynamics of the focus of attention and the evolution of the expert's identity at different stages of development: from reaching the first income to scaling and working with wealth. A focus matrix is proposed that integrates the stages of practice development and levels of identity, allowing to diagnose the current situation and build an authentic growth trajectory. Developing Critical Thinking in Future Foreign Language Teachers Through Generative Language Models: A Systematic Review of Empirical Studies
Review Article
Development of education Volume 9 No 1- Authors:
- Svetlana V. Chusovlianova, Elena G. Zharikova
- Work direction:
- Pedagogy and Modern Education
- Abstract:
- In the context of digital transformation in education, the development of critical thinking among future teachers has become increasingly urgent due to widespread integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) into teaching and learning processes. This paper presents a systematic review of empirical studies (2019–2025) that examine the pedagogical potential of generative language models for fostering critical thinking among students in teacher education programs. This work constitutes a secondary analysis; it synthesizes findings from ten peer-reviewed empirical and theory-informed empirical studies conducted in Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. The literature analysis reveals that effective use of neural network-based AI tools can support the development of core critical thinking operations provided that specific pedagogical strategies are employed. At the same time, the review systematically identifies key risks associated with AI integration: cognitive laziness, academic dishonesty, and the unreliability of generated information. The paper emphasizes the necessity of cultivating students’ digital and critical literacy as a prerequisite for mindful engagement with AI-generated content, as well as the transformation of the teacher’s role from a knowledge transmitter to a facilitator of a reflective-discursive learning environment. This systematic review contributes to the theory of digital pedagogy by proposing an approach to integrating generative AI models into the professional training of language teachers.
