Formation of reading literacy of modern schoolchildren as a didactic problem (regional aspect)

- The article is devoted to the urgent problem of formation of reading literacy of modern schoolchildren, which is interpreted as the most important type of functional literacy, based on the ability to operate various types of texts, understanding their deep meaning and correct interpretation. The authors reveal the specifics of the formation of reading literacy in Russian language classes, using regionally colored texts as a meaning-forming content component. The materials of the article reflect the data of the pedagogical experiment, which allows to adjust the methodological strategies of the teacher in a significant way. The authors state that despite the need to comply with the normative requirements set forth in the updated FSES, modern teachers do not work on the formation of functional literacy in the system. A comprehensive analysis of the educational results of the educational process allowed the authors of the article to argue that the content basis of lessons aimed at the formation of functional literacy can be regionally colored texts that allow building lines of in-depth dialogue against the background of understanding the meanings of the culture of the small homeland.

As an example, the work proposes the personalities of heroes from Stavropol – participants of the Great Patriotic War, whose exploits fully embody the necessary qualities of a true patriot of their country.

- The article considers the problem of using regional-oriented materials as an important resource for the formation of communicative and speech competence in senior preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment (ONR) in the aspect of their life competence. The results of an empirical study on the study of the specifics of the communicative and speech competence of older preschoolers with ONR are presented and promising directions for its formation in speech therapy classes are determined. The author's model of speech therapy work on the development of communicative and speech competence in preschoolers with ONR using materials of regional orientation is presented.

- Abstract:
- The article covers significance of cultural and educational events for development of the bilingual environment; gives definitions of the terms “bilingualism”, “bilingual educational environment” and “indigenous / small peoples”. The relevance of studying this issue is in changing approaches from 2017 in teaching national languages in bilingual and multilingual regions of the country, in changing the number of hours in teaching in native (national) languages in a secondary school, in taking into account the national-regional component in the education system of a multinational state. The subject of the research is rapidly disappearing ethnic groups and their languages according to the classification of languages of UNESCO. The article emphasizes the importance of preserving and promoting national languages and cultures for establishing intercultural dialogue and peaceful coexistence of ethnic groups in a multinational state. The purpose of the article is to identify and draw attention to the problem of disappearance of national languages and cultures through a set of measures in the field of culture, science, education. Research methods: study of literature on the research topic, analysis of educational programs and curricula, a comparative analysis method for describing the status of the languages. Results. In the study, we came to the conclusion that the availability of bilingual textbooks and teaching aids with assignments built on national-Russian bilingualism, the organization of various kinds of bilingual events and their popularization in the media will help to maintain a viable level of national languages and cultures of indigenous peoples in the Russian Federation.

- The article considers the fundamentals of the national-regional component in teaching foreign languages, through the prism of which the characteristics of the modern system of education is given and the specificity of the integrated courses is studied as a way of forming a foreign-language intercultural competence. In the course of studing of this issue, the authors come to the conclusion that the competent implementation of the national-regional component contributes to the successful formation of foreign-language intercultural and social and cultural competences.
