- Abstract:
- The chapter explores the mechanisms of staff involvement in the digital transformation processes of an organization, from resistance to acceptance of changes. It examines the reasons for resistance, such as fear of losing work, uncertainty about roles, and concerns about the comfort and familiarity of old processes. The chapter proposes a multi-level approach to involvement, which includes strategic leadership, transparent communication, employee participation in planning, opportunities for training and retraining, and the creation of a safe space for feedback. The chapter presents practical methods: targeted communication campaigns, joint formation of a roadmap of changes, involvement of employees in pilot projects, use of agile methodologies and design thinking to minimize resistance. Special attention is paid to measuring the effectiveness of involvement through KPI, satisfaction surveys, indices of perception of changes and monitoring of the organization's culture. As a result, specific steps are proposed to move from resistance to acceptance, which ensures a smoother implementation of digital technologies, increased employee motivation, and a sustainable transformation effect.

Modeling of the break-even activity of the enterprise
Book ChapterEffective development of the modern economy: problems and prospects- Authors:
- Olga V. Mishulina, Natalia S. Gorelova
- Work direction:
- Глава 13
- Abstract:
- In the chapter considers the basic model of substantiation of management decisions – «volume-costs-profit», its analytical capabilities for enterprise management. This model helps to predict the values of costs, sales (production) volume and profit. The target focus of the study is to use the tools and functionality of the «volume-costs-profit» model to implement break-even activities of the enterprise. The purpose of the break-even theory is shown, the analytical capabilities of the basic model are systematized, four approaches to its content are identified, the filling of the key elements of its subject area is disclosed: marginal income, coverage rate, break-even point (break-even point), financial safety margin and operating leverage. Using the example of an agricultural organization, break-even modeling of business activities is carried out, directions for increasing the profitability of the enterprise are substantiated. To expand the functionality of the «volume-costs-profit» model, the use of sensitivity analysis, a matrix of financial results planning and break-even management, as well as a scenario approach for choosing alternative options for making a profit when making management decisions is proposed. Difficulties in conducting analysis and forecasting the break-even activity of an enterprise are identified, which are associated with the lack of legal regulation of cost accounting using the direct costing system, the methodology for calculating marginal income and the formation of a management accounting system.

- Abstract:
- The development of educational export is an important strategic task both for Russian universities at the institutional level, allowing them to increase the level of global competitiveness, and at the state level, ensuring the implementation of the principles of the «soft power» strategy. Both of these goal-settings contribute to the achievement of national interests through attraction and persuasion. To increase the efficiency of the export of Russian education and high-quality training of specialists for the global labor market, it is necessary to develop effective methods, mechanisms and technologies for improving the intercultural adaptive environment of educational organizations, which became the main goal of this study. Cultural diversity is a key value guide for the classification of cultures of peoples and countries, as well as an important criterion for the effective management of multicultural groups and organizations. In the context of educational organizations, cultural diversity is becoming a powerful driver for the development of competencies in the host institutions for foreign students, but it is important to systematically approach all components of an intercultural adaptive environment based on the implementation and scaling of best practices. In this study, based on a sociological survey of foreign students in Russian universities, priority adaptation tools are systematized both along the internal contour of the educational organization, as well as and in external bilateral and network interactions. The research recommendations are both strategic in nature, defining the fundamental tasks of educational organizations to create an intercultural adaptive environment, and of an applied and methodological nature, based on proposals regarding the development of specific tools for intercultural adaptation.
