    Abstract:
    The article raises the issue of labor patriotism of Soviet youth during the Great Patriotic War as one of the factors of victory. The role of youth in a truly national movement is revealed, testifying to their exceptional devotion to the Fatherland. The issues of patriotic education and the successive transmission of traditions and the heroic past of our country to subsequent generations are considered. The names of the initiators of patriotic initiatives are indicated, conclusions are drawn about the significance of the movement in achieving the Great Victory. The patriotic movement of youth to provide assistance to the front is analyzed. Thanks to the established organization of work by local authorities with the active participation of young people, it was possible to use additional sources of funding for the Red Army. The work examines the patriotic movement of the younger generation, aimed at providing material assistance to the front. Labor activity has been identified that contributes to the provision of financial and material assistance, a truly national movement.

    Abstract:
    The formation of a value-patriotic orientation is considered as the most important task in the formation of the personality of cadets of military universities. In the personality structure of cadets of military universities, the defining values are: patriotism, social and political activity, desire to serve in the forces, love of sports, need for movement, interest in physical culture, hard work in physical education classes, special knowledge of physical culture, social status, perseverance in achieving goals, presence of wit, perseverance of character, sociability, the attitude of fellow students, friends among others. It is revealed that the level of sports qualifications of cadets of military universities, in comparison with low, contributes less to the formation of value-patriotic orientations according to the following parameters characterizing the personality: patriotism, social and political activity, readiness to accomplish a feat in the name of the Motherland, readiness to work in the name of the Motherland, interest in politics, desire to serve in the forces, a sense of duty and obligation to comrades, teachers. The level of sports qualifications has little impact on these values. Cadets with low sports qualifications in relation to highly qualified athletes have a greater tendency to manifest negative personal values characteristic of this group: they put their interests above others, more often get into unpleasant life situations, conflict with others and show great aggressiveness. Means of pedagogical influence should be used In the formation of positive attitudes of patriotic orientation. The paper presents a methodology for the formation of value-patriotic orientation among cadets of military universities. This methodology includes the principles, content, use of innovative forms, methods and means of pedagogical influence.

    Аnnotation: the article presents the analysis of the problem of the formation of the civic identity of the individual and the civil consciousness of adolescents; it reveals the prospects for overcoming the difficulties associated with the formation of an active civil position, social responsibility, patriotism and sociocentric motivation. It is shown that student's age, following adolescence, remains a sensitive period for the formation of the «I-concept» of the personality, the formation of values of the highest order, such as honour, conscience, dignity, love for the motherland.     The article deals with the complex of issues of civil society influence on the formation and activity of the Armed Forces of the state. Based on practical examples, the author considers the specifics of the professionalization of the army in Latin America, draws Parallels with the Russian Federation. An important common feature of Russia and Latin America, the author believes hypertrophied public attention to the Armed Forces. In the Latin American States, which no one is going to attack, the army is perceived as a symbol of statehood, the value of the guarantee of its sovereignty, it is exalted, the officer corps is respected.     In the context of modern gender studies the paper analyzes the features of women's everyday life and survival in extreme conditions of the First World War and the Great Patriotic War. The aim of the study is a comprehensive study of women's behavior patterns, features of women's perception of front-line reality during world wars. The priority in this study was micro-historical approach, the use of which allowed to determine the peculiarities of military women's everyday life through the personal perception of the realities of the time of specific woman. The study is based on the principles of historicism, scientific objectivity and system-functional analysis, according to which the daily life of women during the First world war and the great Patriotic war is considered by the authors taking into account the "background of the era", the diversity of forms and dynamics of the country. In addition, comparative-historical and descriptive methods were used in solving research problems. A special place in the methodology of the study is taken by the gender approach. As a result of research the comparative analysis of features of women's daily life in the conditions of the First World and Great Patriotic War is carried out, the degree of their participation in both wars is defined, characteristic features of adaptation of women to conditions of wartime are revealed.
