    The history of the last decades of the twentieth century shows that we live in a world where citizenship, social significance and self-awareness not only fundamental for the individual, but preserving the independence, social stability and security of the state. A person who claims to be a citizen is distinguished by patriotism, a desire to demonstrate civic courage and dignity and the ability and willingness to defend his or her country. The following article examines the representatives of the «Frankfurt School» who made an invaluable contribution to the creation of the theory and practice of civic and patriotic education.

    The article is devoted to the actual problem-social and pedagogical support for the formation and development of a highly moral personality of a schoolboy who is aware of the responsibility for the present and future of his country. The author analyzes the main directions of the teacher's educational activity, in particular, considers the requirements imposed by the federal state educational standard for the level of civil and patriotic education of primary school students. Kirova K. M. describes the structure of the educational activity program "I am a citizen of Russia!". Differentiates between the value of theoretical knowledge and practical problem solving.     Abstract:
    Аnnotation: the article presents the analysis of the problem of the formation of the civic identity of the individual and the civil consciousness of adolescents; it reveals the prospects for overcoming the difficulties associated with the formation of an active civil position, social responsibility, patriotism and sociocentric motivation. It is shown that student's age, following adolescence, remains a sensitive period for the formation of the «I-concept» of the personality, the formation of values of the highest order, such as honour, conscience, dignity, love for the motherland. It is in this period that the most significant is the definition of a life strategy based on the criticality of thinking, the ability to block the negative influences of society on the harmonious development of the personality and the full-fledged formation of a person as a citizen.

    The article deals with the complex of issues of civil society influence on the formation and activity of the Armed Forces of the state. Based on practical examples, the author considers the specifics of the professionalization of the army in Latin America, draws Parallels with the Russian Federation. An important common feature of Russia and Latin America, the author believes hypertrophied public attention to the Armed Forces. In the Latin American States, which no one is going to attack, the army is perceived as a symbol of statehood, the value of the guarantee of its sovereignty, it is exalted, the officer corps is respected. In the Russian Federation, civil society is critical of the growth of defense spending, advocates a complete transition to a professional army.

    Abstract:
    In the context of modern gender studies the paper analyzes the features of women's everyday life and survival in extreme conditions of the First World War and the Great Patriotic War. The aim of the study is a comprehensive study of women's behavior patterns, features of women's perception of front-line reality during world wars. The priority in this study was micro-historical approach, the use of which allowed to determine the peculiarities of military women's everyday life through the personal perception of the realities of the time of specific woman. The study is based on the principles of historicism, scientific objectivity and system-functional analysis, according to which the daily life of women during the First world war and the great Patriotic war is considered by the authors taking into account the "background of the era", the diversity of forms and dynamics of the country. In addition, comparative-historical and descriptive methods were used in solving research problems. A special place in the methodology of the study is taken by the gender approach. As a result of research the comparative analysis of features of women's daily life in the conditions of the First World and Great Patriotic War is carried out, the degree of their participation in both wars is defined, characteristic features of adaptation of women to conditions of wartime are revealed.
