    In the present study, the authors devoted their attention to the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation of a cluster of small and medium-sized businesses in a competitive environment at the regional level. The object of the study is small and medium-sized businesses in the competitive environment of the region (on the example of the Sverdlovsk region). The subject is the circle of public relations related to the formation of a strategy for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the competitive environment of the region. The authors solved the problems of revealing the essence of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as its role in the national economy. Approaches to assessing the effectiveness of support for small and medium-sized businesses are considered. An analysis of the current state of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia in general and in the Sverdlovsk region in particular was carried out. Measures aimed at the development of small and medium-sized businesses at the regional level were proposed, as well as an assessment was given to them.

    Abstract:
    The article defines the role of entrepreneurship in the socio-economic life of the country, examines the main problems of the development of Russian small and medium-sized enterprises, and suggests ways to develop them under the conditions of economic sanctions of Western states and macroeconomic instability of the national economy. It is concluded that in order to increase the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in Russia's GDP, it is necessary to involve them in all spheres of activity and strengthen their qualitative component. And in order to increase the effectiveness of measures taken by the state in relation to SMEs, it is necessary to improve the legislative framework and review ongoing national projects taking into account changing conditions.

    The chapter discusses current problems of dual education for students of higher educational institutions in modern conditions. The dual education system, combining theoretical training at universities with practical training at enterprises, is one of the most effective ways to train specialists. However, despite the obvious advantages, the implementation of a dual system faces a number of difficulties and challenges. The study analyzed the main problems, such as insufficient interaction between educational institutions and business, limited funding, insufficient motivation of students and teachers, as well as regulatory and organizational obstacles. Particular attention is paid to analyzing the current state of dual training, as well as offering recommendations for improving this system.

Innovations permeate all types of society's activities and are the main factor and incentive for the development and competitiveness of the country. The Russian economy has a high innovation potential, but the level of application of this potential and mastering of innovation processes is still not high enough. Innovation management is perceived by many specialists with distrust, which makes it difficult to choose a development path for the growth of innovation activity. In enterprises focused on the creation and implementation of innovations, this problem is very relevant. The study of the essence of innovative enterprises, the peculiarities of their functioning will improve the quality of their management, and, consequently, will increase the level of economic development.

    Abstract:
    The chapter discusses the managerial aspects of the development of new technologies at enterprises of the Russian defense industry in the digital economy. The relevance of the study is determined by several circumstances. Firstly, it is the market of anti-UAVs that has been studied to a lesser extent than the UAVs themselves. Drones, both as a military solution and as civil technologies, are currently in the focus of attention of the scientific and professional community. At the same time, systems aimed at countering UAVs do not receive due attention. Secondly, for military-technical cooperation of the Russian Federation, the market of anti-UAVS is of great interest: since UAVs themselves are being adopted almost everywhere, it can be expected that in the near future the market will require appropriate solutions aimed at countering these systems. Thirdly, the international arms market itself is in a constant state of change, and these changes should receive proper scientific assessment.

    The chapter studies the key performance indicators of tourism and hospitality industry enterprises in the region. The segmentation of enterprises according to the value of financial and economic indicators and its comparison with the average industry value is carried out. Depending on the number of indicators exceeding the industry average value, groups of enterprises (group 1 – "green zone", group 2 – "blue zone", group 3 – "yellow zone", group 4 – "red zone") were singled out and brief recommendations for the development of activity in each group were formulated. The research methods include selection, organisation, table, graphic and calculation methods; comparison, segmentation, grouping, evaluation.

    In today's dynamic economic environment, strategic development is becoming one of the key factors for success of an organization. However, in order to correctly substantiate and effectively implement a strategy, it is necessary to have reliable methodological approaches and provisions. The oil and gas industry is one of the areas where economic globalization, which is a key feature of global economic development, is most fully manifested. Geological, production, economic factors of the functioning of vertically integrated oil companies in their integrated meaning predetermine their presence on relevant markets. This provokes, when determining the development strategy of such companies, to take into account the features and development trends of these markets. In this regard, the development of issues related to the development of methodological approaches to the strategic development of enterprises seems to be a relevant task. Methodological provisions for substantiating and improving strategic development represent a systematized set of theoretical knowledge and practical recommendations aimed at optimal use of available resources and capabilities.     The article touches on the fact that for a long time, engineers designing products had no information about how those products then performed in real life. For them, the products were sent like «to the dark side of the moon». Managing the complete life cycle of a product from idea to decommissioning remained an idea from the realm of science fiction. Now everything has changed. Industrial enterprises introduced the technology concept of a «digital twin», a computer image corresponding to a specific physical product. From now on, if a product is equipped with sensors (at the design stage or during modernization), it is possible to organize a full-fledged feedback loop. The product will collect data from the real world and transmit it to the digital world.

    Organizations constantly conduct settlements with suppliers and buyers. With suppliers for fixed assets, raw materials and other inventory items purchased from them, work performed and services rendered; with buyers for work performed, services rendered. The debt on these calculations in the process of financial and economic activity must be within the permissible values. Market relations increase the responsibility and independence of organizations in the development and adoption of management decisions to ensure the effectiveness of settlements with debtors and creditors. Rational organization of control over the state of settlements, contributes to strengthening contractual and settlement discipline, fulfilling obligations for the supply of products in a given assortment and quality, increasing responsibility for compliance with payment discipline, reducing receivables and payables, accelerating the turnover of working capital and, consequently, improving the financial condition of organizations.

    Abstract:
    The work is devoted to the analysis of the novel by S. King “Pet Cematary” in the original English and Russian versions in a comparative aspect. The purpose of the article is a cognitive-pragmatic characterization of texts based on lexical units. The authors of the study solve the following tasks: a comparative analysis of the linguistic features of the texts of the work, the presentation of the most striking examples from a linguocultural point of view, the semantic interpretation of lexical units. The novelty of the study lies in the attempt to analyze the text of the novel in two languages in a comparative way (the authors of the article chose two versions of the translation into Russian, made by I. A. Bagrov and T. Yu. Pokidaeva). The data obtained during the study of texts reflect the culture and lexicon of the contemporaries of the authors of the translation, which is important for modern scientific research in the field of studying vocabulary, both from the structural and content sides. In the process of reviewing the material, the methods of continuous sampling, classification and interpretation were used. The analysis carried out helped to reveal the specifics of the perception of information in different periods of time. The lack of accuracy in the transfer of lexical units in translated works determines the need for further research in this direction.

  • Linguistic-stylistic and literary interpretation of S. Zweig’s short story "Governess" at the plot and character level

    Abstract:
    The interaction of literary and linguistic approaches in the process of analyzing a literary text makes it possible to penetrate into the depth of the artistic work. This is the relevance of the study. The authors conducted a philological analysis of the ethical S. Zweig’s short story “The Governess” using these approaches. The following means were identified to characterize the psychological tension of the characters: climax and introspection. The analysis of linguistic-stylistic means in the description of the presented images of characters and their interactions is carried out. The analysis revealed the following tropes: direct nominations amplified by the epithets; repetitions of verbs and nouns; artistic comparisons; metaphors; metonymies; paraphrases; hyperboles; personifications; internal parallelisms; figures of “default”; internal monologues; rhetorical questions and exclamations. Three stages of dynamization of the emotional experiences of the main characters are identified with the help of linguistic-stylistic means: 1) slight suspicion, vague contradiction, caution; 2) distrust, suspicion, nervousness, agitation; 3) open protest, experience, grief, despair, disappointment, tears, silence, darkness. The conclusion states that S. Zweig made the best presentation of linguistic and stylistic means to characterize the main characters and the growth of their emotional tension.

    Introduction. The article is devoted to the problem of optimizing the psychological states of children through the formation of their interpersonal states with a teacher and peers. Relevance. Based on the analysis of literary sources, it was revealed that violations of relationships with teachers have a negative impact on the formation of interpersonal relationships of children in the group of preschool educational institutions and on mental states. This was the basis for the development and implementation of a comprehensive program to optimize the mental states and relationships of children in their relationship. Violations of relationships with teachers have a negative impact not only on mental states, but also on the formation of interpersonal relationships of children in the group of preschool educational institutions. This makes it necessary to develop a program of socio-psychological training for teachers and the need to work towards the harmonization of relations among peers. The purpose of the study is to determine the psychological and pedagogical conditions for optimizing mental states in the process of forming positive interpersonal relationships in a group of preschool educational institutions. Research methods. The article uses theoretical methods of research: analysis of domestic and foreign methodological sources, results of psychological and pedagogical research, study of the resources of educational portals of the Internet, generalization of materials of scientific and practical conferences, forums; practical methods: observation, interviewing, survey, questionnaire, mathematical and statistical methods of processing results (the criterion r is used – Pearson's linear correlation coefficient, etc.). Results and discussion. The author offers the results of a study of the relationship between interpersonal relationships with a teacher and peers with mental states, describes the author's program for optimizing the mental states of children in the pre-school group through the formation of interpersonal relationships. Diagnostic methods are proposed to determine the teacher's attitude to children, interpersonal relationships of children in the preschool group, the actor's method "Mishkin's family" in order to identify the mental states of children determined in relations with the teacher and peers. Conclusions. In our opinion, it is the complex of psychological impact on teachers, coupled with psychological and pedagogical impact on children, that will contribute to a significant increase in the level of interpersonal relationships of children in the immediate social environment and reduce the indicators of negative mental states.
