    The article examines the key aspects of the digital transformation of education, which radically changes approaches to education and upbringing. The article analyzes new horizons opening up due to the introduction of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, online platforms and interactive tools. The advantages are discussed, including the availability of educational resources and the individualization of the educational process. At the same time, attention is focused on the challenges faced by educational institutions and teachers, such as the need to improve digital literacy, ensure data security and adapt to rapidly changing conditions. The article offers recommendations for the successful integration of digital technologies into educational practice, emphasizing the importance of a balance between traditional teaching methods and innovation.

Examples of successful historical research illustrate the diversity of approaches and methods, and highlight the importance of digitalization and interdisciplinary research for the future of historical science.

    Abstract:
    The chapter is devoted to the consideration of relevant issues of forming a strategy for the sustainable development of the regional education quality assessment system. The paper examines the regulatory framework and social challenges associated with this process. The author analyzes the existing approaches to assessing the quality of education in foreign and Russian practice, determines their common features and key problems. The research methodology includes a theoretical review of the regulations governing the field of education quality assessment at the federal and regional levels, as well as the study of the participants' opinions of educational relations based on the results of a sociological survey. The results of the analysis show the need to develop new approaches to assessing the quality of education at the regional level, taking into account the modern requirements of society and the demands of the labour market. The author emphasizes the importance of developing cooperation in scientific and methodological work at all levels of education management and offers a number of practical recommendations aimed at optimizing the existing system of education quality assessment in the entities of the Russian Federation.

    The paper deals with the growing global phenomenon of teaching EMI in the countries where English is not the mother tongue for the majority of population. Using the research conducted by Oxford EMI and the British Council, the author tries to focus on the phenomenon of EMI: its definition, aims, national expectations and new challenges for the Russian teachers. The author presents debatable issues related to the EMI incorporating at Russian universities that need further research and rethinking.
