- This chapter presents the experience of using some modern educational technologies as a means of increasing students' motivation for learning. Motivation plays a decisive role, is the leading and system-forming link in the structure of a student's educational activity, acting as a stable factor in its success. The chapter also notes the special role assigned to independent work of students, which is one of the key ones in mastering the disciplines of the natural science cycle. Options for independent work of students are proposed, aimed at high practical orientation, helping to arouse great interest in students. The following educational technologies are considered: interactive, distance learning resources, problem-based learning, student-centered and modular learning, the use of which increases the quality of knowledge, skills and abilities received by the student. This has a decisive impact on the quality of student education as a whole, since all technologies complement each other and favor in-depth study of disciplines by university students. Prospects for the development of a modern individual educational trajectory at the university provides the basis for the professional and personal development of each student.

Economic security scoring: a multi-assessment approach

- The chapter presents a methodology for organizing and conducting scoring (quantitative assessment of acceptability) of the state and dynamics of economic security at different levels of management. The assessment sequence includes the stages of developing a system of primary indicators of economic security, an assessment system of each indicator, a system of reference indicators for comparison, evaluation of primary indicators, their rationing and subsequent comparison with the reference, calculation of the final score rating, determination of its acceptability for management, development of managerial decisions, revision of the scoring system if necessary to modernize it. The research methods were general scientific methods, as well as special methods of economic analysis. As a result, a practically applicable methodology was formed, which is shown by including a model example of a specific economic security scoring system.

- Abstract:
- The chapter presents the results of a comparative analysis of the publication activity of the teaching staff of the departments of the Faculty of Physical Education of Dagestan State Pedagogical University. The obtained research results are based on the scientometric database of the RSCI. According to a set of hetero-geneous scientometric indicators: the number of publications, the citation index, the Hirsch index, the impact factor and the categories of journals in the List of the Higher Attestation Commission in which articles are published, the authors have compiled ratings of departments, an integrated assessment of their publication productivity is given. The importance of research related to the publication activity of higher school teachers is emphasized: the study of the publication activity of teachers and structural units of the university allows not only to assess the current situation of the effectiveness of research activities, but also assumes its informational value in solving the tasks of improving the efficiency of planning and organization of scientific work of departments (faculties), in order to increase the competitiveness of the university.

Building a rating of students in a study group in one discipline when studying in the LCMS system

- The article introduces the reader to the functionality of the Dilsi LCMS system in ranking the academic performance of students and is devoted to the problem of using digital technologies in calculating the rating. Recently, students' interest in learning has been declining. Determining the rating of students in the group contributes to solving this urgent problem. The place occupied in the rating encourages the student to get ahead of his own kind, to become a leader in this field of activity. A review of the literature on the topic showed that there is currently dissatisfaction with the current point-rating systems of universities, where ranking is difficult to determine, due to the formalism and complexity of the corresponding calculations. The analysis of the sources confirms the hypothesis about the mechanistic transfer of foreign models to our universities, without observing the principles of functioning laid down in them. The purpose of the study is to propose automation of calculating the reliable ranking of students in a group. Such research methods as a systematic approach, statistical approach, logical and structural analysis were used. As a result of the research, the author came to the conclusion that the task is effectively solved on the basis of digital data of student learning in the LCMS system.

Testing as an Effective Method for Assessing the Quality of Students' Training Achievements

- Electronic educational resources including testing, which simplify the process of searching and structuring educational information have been used more often in educational organizations recently. They have made learning more accessible and interesting for students of higher and vocational education institutions, especially in the context of a pandemic. The article provides a brief theoretical justification of the advantages of testing students' academic achievements. The emphasis is placed on the importance of testing as a tool for remote control of students' knowledge, the advantages and disadvantages of using tests both in the educational process of higher and secondary vocational education and in order to control the acquired knowledge are revealed. The study was carried out by the authors on the basis of a comprehensive use of theoretical and empirical methods. The leading theoretical methods were: analysis, generalization, concretization, forecasting, modeling. The work used such empirical methods as conversations, pedagogical observation, questionnaires, expert evaluation, testing, analysis of performance, generalization of pedagogical experience, methods of statistical processing of experimental data. The results presented in the article of the study of testing of students of MPSU at the initial (entrance test), current and final stage of measuring the level of educational achievements of students demonstrated an increase in the values of the effectiveness of testing at all stages of its implementation, an increase in the effectiveness of test control at the intermediate and final stages of the study. The results of the study made it possible to formulate promising directions for the development of problems of testing the quality of education of students of higher and professional education organizations: improving the forms and methods of analysis and interpretation of test results based on the invariant application of test models: improving the psychological and pedagogical orientation of the use of the testing algorithm for personalized learning trajectories in the practice of mass education, etc.

In addition, the article shows the practical features of the use of testing technologies to monitor students' level of knowledge by creating an evaluation fund for educational discipline «Computer Science», which is an integral part of multifunctional educational technological complex in the «Manager-programmer of information systems», using a rating approach and multi-point measurement scales. Features of education quality evaluation of technical universities graduates

- Abstract:
- The main tools and conditions for the effective implementation of evaluation tools for assessing the education quality of technical universities (faculties) graduates are defined in this paper. The author reveals the main approaches to the notion of the quality of education and its evaluation, defines the concepts of "quality of preparation" and "quality of education" of graduates of universities. Analytical expressions are proposed for calculating the coefficient of student`s preparation level based on the semester results and the quality of education during the training period, including the indicator of the quality of training, assessment of practices and final qualification papers, and the scores of the labor potential.
