the chapter addresses the problem of formation and accumulation of students' social capital in the multiethnic educational environment of a modern Russian university. The authors conduct a theoretical and methodological analysis of key social capital concepts (P. Bourdieu, J. Coleman, R. Putnam) as applied to the specifics of higher education in a multiethnic society.
