- Abstract:
- The article considers the theoretical foundations of integrating student sports into the process of forming universal competencies of higher education students. Using the example of training student rowers, the pedagogical conditions that ensure the development of systemic and critical thinking, team interaction, communication, self regulation, and project based activities are analysed. It is substantiated that sports training can be considered not only as a means of physical training, but also as a pedagogically organized environment for the formation of meta-subject educational results.

Ways to prevent emotional burnout among teachers of technical universities
Book Chapter
Theoretical and practical aspects of pedagogy and psychology- Authors:
- Inna V. Piatibratova, Oksana V. Iakusheva, Tatiana V. Aleksina
- Work direction:
- Глава 14
- Abstract:
- The chapter addresses the problem of preventing emotional burnout among faculty members of technical universities. The relevance of the study is determined by the high intensity of professional activity of engineering and pedagogical staff, who combine teaching, methodological, research and administrative work under conditions of constant updating of educational standards and technological infrastructure. Based on the analysis of Russian publications over the past decade, the main risk factors are identified: multitasking, bureaucratic load, dissatisfaction with remuneration, and lack of recovery time. The necessity of taking into account the cognitive specificity of technical discipline teachers (predominance of logical loads, orientation towards algorithms, restraint in emotional expression) when developing preventive measures is substantiated. A comprehensive prevention model is proposed, combining individual strategies (self-regulation, time management, physical activity) and organizational solutions (reduction of bureaucratic load, fair distribution of responsibilities, group professional support, state monitoring). Practical recommendations adapted to the working conditions of engineering faculty members are formulated. It is concluded that effective burnout prevention is possible only through a systematic approach that unites the efforts of the teacher, the department, and the university administration.

The relationship between the self-concept and the features of communication in adolescence: a theoretical and empirical analysis
Book Chapter
Theoretical and practical aspects of pedagogy and psychology- Authors:
- Natalia V. Shurova, Olga I. Zenina
- Work direction:
- Глава 22
- Abstract:
- The chapter presents the results of theoretical and empirical research on the relationship between the structural components of self-concept and the features of communication in adolescence. The relevance of the study is driven by the need for an in-depth examination of the mechanisms of self-awareness formation in the context of digital socialization and the transformation of traditional educational institutions. The theoretical analysis includes a review of psychological approaches to self-concept (humanistic, cognitive, and social-constructivist paradigms), its structural components (cognitive, affective, and behavioral), as well as the psychological characteristics of adolescence and the specifics of the communicative sphere. The empirical study was conducted on a sample of 60 adolescents aged 11–16 using the following instruments: V.V. Stolin and S.R. Pantileev's Self-Attitude Questionnaire, M. Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale, V.I. Morosanova's Self-Regulation Styles Questionnaire, V.F. Ryakhovsky's Sociability Assessment Method, and the COS-2 Test (Communication Skills Test). Statistically significant correlations were found between the emotional-evaluative components of self-concept (self-respect and self-sympathy) and communicative tendencies, with self-regulation identified as a mediating factor. The findings can be used in the development of psychological and pedagogical support programs for adolescents.

Between shame and autonomy: two faces of adolescent vulnerability in the educational environment
Book Chapter
Theoretical and practical aspects of pedagogy and psychology- Author:
- Alla I. Matveeva
- Work direction:
- Глава 23
- Abstract:
- The chapter is devoted to constructing a differentiated analytical model of age-related vulnerability in adolescents within the educational environment for two ontogenetically distinct cohorts: ages 10–13 and 14–18. The author proceeds from the position that a unified interpretation of adolescence is methodologically untenable, since identical behavioral manifestations (irritability, withdrawal, conflict behavior, declining academic performance) may be generated by fundamentally different psychological mechanisms and therefore require differentiated diagnostics. For early adolescence, the concept of «three pillars of stability» is proposed: self-perceived competence, self-regulation, and social status within the peer group, the weakening of which explains typical forms of school maladaptation. For late adolescence, the leading challenge is considered to be the existential task of identity and autonomy formation, intensified by the digital environment of social comparison and cyberbullying. Based on the analysis of Russian and international empirical data (WHO, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, HSE University, VCIOM), a three-level «risk map» of the educational environment has been operationalized, encompassing structural, social, and personal-psychological levels. Current diagnostic practice is also described (ongoing observation, annual screening, in-depth diagnostics), along with the «school ambassador» institution as a mechanism for early identification and referral of adolescents at psychological risk. The study shows that the structural level of the school environment plays a foundational role: the concentration of up to 70% of bullying cases within a limited circle of educational institutions points to the institutional, rather than purely individual-psychological, nature of most risks. The proposed model provides a basis for schools to shift from reactive intervention toward systematic, age-differentiated prevention.

The essence and features of the digital economy development: theoretical and methodological analysis and practical aspects of transformation management
Book ChapterDevelopment of the Russian socio-economic system: challenges and prospects- Author:
- Vera N. Minakova
- Work direction:
- Глава 1
- Abstract:
- The chapter provides a comprehensive theoretical and methodological analysis of the essence, genesis and features of the development of the digital economy as a qualitatively new stage in the evolution of economic relations. The evolution of digital technologies in historical retrospect is studied – from the creation of the first programming languages to modern technologies of artificial intelligence, big data and the Internet of Things. The main approaches to the definition of the “digital economy” category are systematized. A comparative analysis of key terms is carried out: digitization, digitalization and digital transformation; the author's definitions distinguishing these concepts are proposed. A structural and logical scheme for managing the digital transformation of an enterprise has been developed, and the stages of its implementation have been substantiated. The risks and barriers of digital transformation have been identified, and approaches to their minimization have been proposed.

- Work direction:
- Глава 7
- Abstract:
- The chapter notes that the transformation of higher education and the transition to the digital university model highlight the relevance of organizing independent work for students, particularly those in engineering disciplines, when learning a foreign language within the electronic information and educational environment (EIEE). Based on a theoretical analysis of scientific literature, key factors influencing independent work in a digital environment have been identified. It is established that psychological determinants include academic self-regulation, the motivational-volitional sphere, cognitive styles, language anxiety, and digital competence. Pedagogical determinants encompass modular design and microlearning, pedagogical support (scaffolding), critical integration of artificial intelligence tools, formative assessment, and gamification. A theoretical model for organizing independent work has been developed, comprising motivational-goal, content-operational, communicative-collaborative, and evaluative-reflexive components. The study concludes that the technological infrastructure of the EIEE requires specific pedagogical design and consideration of the psychological characteristics of engineering students. The findings of the study can be applied in the design of educational programs, the development of teaching materials, and the creation of support systems for independent work in digital universities.

- Abstract:
- Digitalization creates new opportunities for the formation of digital companies and platforms. Adaptation of antitrust legislation to the needs of the digital economy requires the development of legal instruments to counter anticompetitive behavior. The purpose of the paper is to summarize research and practice of developing effective legal remedies against abuse of a dominant position of digital platforms in light of their multifaceted nature. The research methods used are general scientific methods, analysis of global experience of antitrust regulation of digital platforms that abuse a dominant position. Changes in the contours of business models of digital platforms are identified, manifested in network effects, the use of collected data, pricing algorithms, artificial intelligence and leading to the establishment of market power and restriction of competition in the market through manipulation, discrimination against competitors, suppliers and consumers. Trends in the application of legal remedies for competition in digital markets by antitrust authorities are considered: emphasis on preliminary behavioral conditions at an early stage of cases; a combination of behavioral and structural conditions to achieve the maximum effect on competition; The study takes into account economic and legal analysis of platform abuse in the marketplace. The importance of incorporating restorative measures to protect competition into legal remedies that may require structural interventions in digital platforms is noted. The results of the study can be used in the practice of antitrust regulation of digital markets.

- Abstract:
- The article examines the importance of differentiated selection of coaching methods depending on the leading deficit of the client’s request. Based on two anonymized cases from individual coaching practice, different types of client tasks are analyzed: professional self-determination and entrepreneurial procrastination. In the first case, the client was in a situation of professional uncertainty and needed to clarify personal orientations, criteria for searching for a new job, and the image of the future professional self. In the second case, the client already had several areas of activity and understood which ideas were of interest, but faced fatigue, procrastination, self-devaluation, and difficulty bringing actions to completion. Based on the analysis, the article proposes an author’s concept of differentiated structuring of a coaching session. According to this concept, the coach first determines what exactly needs to be structured and only then selects the appropriate techniques.
