    The text examines the role of chemical elements (including rare earth elements) in the human body and the importance of their balance for health and life expectancy. It describes a method for early diagnosis and risk assessment of serious diseases (primarily cardiovascular and oncological diseases) – the YUVS method (patent RU No. 2567336), developed by scientists at the “Spectrum” laboratory. In the course of the study, using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP MS), the elemental composition of the blood of more than 3,000 people (67 chemical elements) was analyzed. Two groups of indicator elements were identified: group B1 (europium, terbium, erbium, thulium, lutetium, and chromium) – their content in the blood is higher in healthy individuals and decreases in the presence of diseases; group B2 (vanadium, barium, palladium) – conversely, their concentration increases in the presence of pathologies. Based on the B1/B2 ratio, the YUVS coefficient has been calculated, which allows assessing the health status and assigning a person to one of three risk groups. The results show a link between the balance of indicator elements and the body’s resistance to diseases and potential life expectancy (more than 90 years in individuals with a favourable profile). The potential of studying the elemental composition of blood for early diagnosis, risk assessment, disease prevention, and personalization of medical care is emphasised.

    Abstract:
    The chapter examines the historical development of mechanics as one of the oldest and most multidisciplinary branches of engineering – from the simplest devices of antiquity used for lifting and moving heavy loads to modern mechanical engineering, encompassing the design of vehicles, industrial systems, and even spacecraft. It demonstrates the inseparable connection of mechanics with physics, mathematics, and geometry, as well as its key role in driving innovation and technological progress. The growing importance of predicting the behavior of structures not yet built in modern engineering is noted, along with the need for close interaction between theory and practice: real-world practice poses new problems for theory, while theory finds the foundation for scientific research in practical work. It is emphasized that many engineering faculties have incorporated theoretical mechanics and the theory of machines and mechanisms into their mechanical engineering curricula. Modern engineers are required to study fundamental disciplines, including the laws of theoretical mechanics, in order to understand the logic of the development of accumulated scientific knowledge and to apply it effectively to solve current engineering challenges.

    Abstract:
    The chapter is devoted to the problems of aesthetic properties of water supply and sewerage systems studying in higher education. The problem’s history is briefly described and previous scientific works are named. The main reasons for which it is necessary to pay attention to technical aesthetics while designing such engineering systems are formulated. Recommendations for choosing aesthetic characteristics are given, and the author also suggests 5 principles that improve the aesthetics of such systems. Each of the principles is illustrated with specific examples from domestic and foreign experience in design and teaching.

    Abstract:
    The article describes the concept of an "EdTech project", its types and functions in the educational process, and provides examples of large EdTech projects by well-known companies. However, due to the process of digital transformation of the education system today, every teacher can and should become a developer of their own EdTech project. The article presents the process of designing the content of teaching the basics of creating and managing EdTech projects, and describes the appropriate methodological training system for current and future teachers. The result of the training of students of the Digital Education master's program was the development of three EdTech projects: "Learn to manage stress!" for graduate students, "Tax Literacy" for primary school students, and "The Digital Footprint of My Homeland" for students in grades 7-11. The initial testing showed that choosing a chatbot as a promotion tool ensures the viability and effectiveness of the EdTech project.

    Annotation. The article discusses the problem of decreased motivation and early dropout of young athletes at the initial specialization stage. The key role of the game method is to simultaneously develop specific coordination abilities and maintain interest in academic rowing. The author proposes a classification of game exercises based on the phases of the rowing stroke, which allows coaches to effectively plan the training process.

    Abstract:
    The article addresses the achievement of high didactic effectiveness through the synthesis of gamification and business simulations, as well as its integration into university curricula and corporate training systems as a modern means of shaping economic thinking in the digital age. In the context of digital transformation and interdisciplinary research, the traditional concept of “economic thinking,” grounded in the postulates of classical and neoclassical schools, has long been conveyed through conventional teaching methods. Under current economic conditions, these methods demonstrate their limitations and inadequacy in forming theoretical knowledge, complex skills, and the personal qualities required of an active participant in economic activity. The modern digital business environment demands that potential market participants possess competencies in analytics and management, as well as skills in the effective application of key ICT and digital tools. Furthermore, the ability to build effective communication and collaboration, along with a readiness to make decisions under uncertainty, is essential. This circumstance determines the relevance of the conducted research, the aim of which is to assess the potential and demonstrate the effectiveness of interactive methods based on game mechanics (gamification) and simulation modeling (business simulations) for developing the structural components of economic thinking in the university educational process. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of theoretical approaches, a review of methodological foundations, and a description of practical cases involving the implementation of a model for integrating game mechanisms and modules into educational and corporate training systems. It is proven that interactive methods not only increase engagement but also structurally transform the cognitive models and beliefs of learners, fostering applied economic thinking. Empirical data from a pedagogical experiment conducted at the State University of Humanities and Technology (Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Economics, Management program) confirm a statistically significant increase in the studied components.

  • Formation of creative thinking among master's students in the educational process of higher education

    The chapter presents the results of an empirical study on the influence of interactive teaching methods on the development of creative thinking in master's students in management. Based on a sample of 100 respondents (61 women and 39 men, mean age 28.7 years), using the Remote Associates Test by S. Mednick (adapted by A.N. Voronin), E. Torrance's Test, and an author-developed questionnaire for pedagogical self-assessment of creative potential, statistically significant gender differences were identified: women demonstrated a higher integral creativity index by 3.3 points (t = 2.49; p = 0.015; d = 0.51), with significant differences for the verbal component (t = 2.39; p = 0.019; d = 0.49) and non-significant differences for the figurative component (t = 0.34; p = 0.73; d = 0.07). The chapter includes a theoretical analysis of pedagogical conditions for creativity development in higher education, empirical data, and practical recommendations for designing interactive sessions that account for the identified differences among students.

    The chapter presents a theoretically grounded and experimentally verified pedagogical model for developing foreign language lexical competence in 7th grade learners based on a multisensory approach. The methodological foundations of the model (communicative, cognitive, competence-based approaches), the system of principles (multisensory, visual, activity-based, game-based learning, etc.), methods and techniques for vocabulary instruction, as well as organizational forms of learning are revealed. Specific exercises developed for each stage of vocabulary work (presentation, practice, activation) are described in detail. The results of experimental work conducted at MBEI «Gymnasium No. 179 – Education Center» in Kazan are presented, which demonstrate a statistically significant superiority of the experimental group, where the model was applied, over the control group taught through traditional methods. The obtained data confirm the effectiveness of the multisensory approach in improving the quality of lexical skills and can serve as a basis for implementation into the practice of teaching English in secondary school.

    The assessment of the value of human life is an interdisciplinary problem that lies at the intersection of economics, sociology, medicine, and law. The relevance of this issue is driven by the need to: justify compensation payments for damage to life and health; calculate the socio-economic effects of safety and healthcare measures; and make management decisions in the fields of occupational safety and environmental protection. The cost-based approach is a key method that involves assessing the costs necessary to maintain or restore health and prolong life. Risks to life and health require quantification to compare the costs of reducing them with the expected benefits. The purpose of this work is to systematize the theoretical foundations of life value assessment and analyze the applicability and limitations of the cost approach.

    The article discusses methods and techniques for working on a poem in the 3rd grade, with a focus on meaningful reading. It describes three stages of text analysis (pre-text, text, and post-text) based on the methodology of N. V. Dushkina and the positions of O. V. Zakharova. For each stage, specific techniques are provided (e.g., «true and false statements», «stop-and-go reading», and «thick and thin questions»), and examples of their application are given using poems included in the «School of Russia» program. It is shown how these methods contribute to a deep understanding of lyrical works and meet the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education.

    The chapter is devoted to the study of the didactic potential of modern English for Specific Purposes (ESP) textbooks. The paper presents a multidimensional analysis of the structure, content, and methodological apparatus of two textbooks designed for students of technical and legal specialties. Special attention is paid to the compliance of educational materials with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education, the principles of communicative linguodidactics, as well as their ability to develop both universal cultural and professionally oriented competences. The empirical part of the study, based on a survey of students and teachers, reveals the actual didactic potential of the textbooks, their strong points and problematic aspects for methodological improvement.     The chapter addresses the problem of creating a modern integrative model for teaching foreign language professional communication, taking into account the requirements of professionalization and specialization. Teaching professional communication is considered as an independent area in the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The article presents a theoretical justification of the proposed model, characterized by phasing and staging of instruction (in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard) and level-based content (bachelor's degree, language proficiency levels B1-C1). Modern approaches to modeling the process of teaching professional communication are considered as a synthesis of conceptual provisions of pedagogical and linguodidactic paradigms. The results of linguistic research on metalanguages of various types of professional discourse for educational purposes are clarified. The basic components of the didactic support of the model are identified, and the pedagogical tools for its implementation are characterized. The content of the diagnostic system for assessing the level of communicative competence formation is defined. A system for diagnosing the effectiveness of professional communication language proficiency is proposed, specifying invariant tasks for levels B1-C1. Theoretical methods, content analysis, continuous sampling method, and statistical methods were applied.
