    The article addresses the issue of qualimetric analysis of professional self-determination among students within the context of basic general education. Based on theoretical and empirical research methods conducted at MBOU Secondary School No. 4 in Poltavskaya village, Krasnoarmeysky District, Krasnodar Krai, the study presents the results of diagnostics assessing the readiness of 9th-grade students for professional self-determination. The activities of the educational institution related to vocational guidance are analyzed, factors influencing the process of professional self-determination are identified, and a series of recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of this process are proposed. The article also emphasizes the importance of interaction between the school, parents, and social partners in implementing vocational guidance activities.     In the chapter discusses the methodology of teaching nanotechnology in engineering education, taking into account modern scientific achievements in the field of materials science. Particular attention is paid to the synthesis of nanosized complex carbides of the TiC-WC system by spark dispersive coating and its integration into the educational process. Didactic principles, approaches to teaching and development of training modules based on experimental studies are described. The results of the analysis of the properties of the synthesized materials, as well as their use in educational laboratory work, are presented. The prospects for using scientific research to improve the quality of training engineers are considered.

    The chapter is devoted to the application of one of the most relevant and in-demand biology teaching technologies in school – case study. Biology as an academic subject has great potential for the implementation of various forms of educational organization. FGOS SOE sets a number of difficult tasks for biology, one of which is to organize the educational process in such a way that it is as effective as possible and brings real results, but at the same time meets all the stated requirements. Case technologies successfully cope with this task. The cases are in high demand and relevant to use. They perform well in preparing students for exams and Olympiads. It can also be supplemented with out-of-text components: diagrams, graphs, tables, drawings, photographs, etc. At the same time, the case is as informative as possible, includes different points of view, and also examines current problems of biology.

    Abstract:
    The preservation and strengthening of traditional values is the main vector of Russia's future development as a civilizational state. This paper examines the specifics of teaching the course, and reveals the experience of implementing the academic discipline «Fundamentals of Russian Statehood» in 2023–2025 academic years. The author focuses on the evolution of the interpretation of the term «values» and its understanding in modern social sciences and humanities. Attention is drawn to the importance of the education system in shaping the traditional values of Russian students. In this paper, methodological recommendations and discussion problems that emerged during the teaching of the training course are formulated. It is concluded that the key direction of the future development of Russia as a state-civilization is the organization of a system of targeted education and upbringing, especially among Russian students. Higher education as a social institution instills in the younger generation traditional values and ideals that are translated into professional activities and preserve the continuity of generations.

It is proved that consultations are an obligatory component of all structural elements of online courses.     Abstract:
    The authors summarize information on the methodological aspects of the application of the input-output method to analyze the socio-economic effects of tourism development in the regions. So far, the main practical problem remains the search for methods to optimize the assessment of the contribution of the tourism industry to the economy of the region, to identify the relationships between different sectors of the economy in terms of tourist demand. Systematic analysis and generalization of information were used as research methods. The results of the study allow us to conclude that the integration of the input-output method with econometric models and comparative analysis makes it possible to assess in more detail the multiplicative effect of tourist activity on the economy of the region, including an increase in production, employment and tax revenues.

    Digital technologies make it possible to automate the processes of disinformation and information warfare, launch fakes promptly and on a large scale, organize information interventions to shift public attention from one information agenda to another, to conduct information and psychological operations, and to have a certain impact on the consciousness and behavior of target groups. Fakes circulate not only in pop media and propaganda channels, but also penetrate into journalism, educational content, and scientific discourse, not only as a subject of scientific research, but also as a result of falsification; the phenomenon of fake journalism and journalism that ignores the high standards and principles of the profession has emerged. In the dense flow of rapidly updating information, attentive perception is difficult, it is difficult to distinguish between truth and falsification, and to obtain reliable information about events; Society is under unprecedented pressure from digital media disinformation, undermining trust in social institutions and social communication channels. These circumstances actualize the issues of improving the methodology and tools for verifying information and recognizing fake content in online media. The purpose of the study is to analyze the signs of fake media content and improve methods of countering disinformation in the media space. Results: the goals and motives of fake creators and distributors, signs and technologies of digital content falsification are investigated, approaches to combating fakes and falsification of information in online media are analyzed, the effectiveness of various technologies for detecting fake content and countering its influence is assessed. The concept of a comprehensive system for countering fakes in the digital space is outlined. One of the conclusions of the study is that countering the influence of fake online media content is not limited to technical and regulatory solutions, since the mechanisms of this influence are socio-psychological; cognitive sciences can provide a methodology for effectively countering deception and manipulation. The study is aimed at media security specialists.
