Modern issues of pedagogy and psychology: theoretical and methodological approaches and practical re-search results- Author:
- Ekaterina G. Saiganova

- Глава 8
- Abstract:
- This chapter examines the transformation of the physical education system in higher education in the context of global sustainable development goals and national priorities of the Russian Federation. It notes the limitations of traditional models of physical education classes, which are primarily implemented indoors and do not utilize the potential of interaction with the natural environment to develop students' environmental awareness. The aim of the study is to theoretically substantiate and empirically test the effectiveness of an innovative model of physical education that integrates the principles of sustainable development. The author's model shifts emphasis from a normative approach to the development of a holistic, environmentally oriented worldview, where concern for personal health is inextricably linked with concern for the environment. The methodological framework consists of an analysis of modern pedagogical approaches (the concept of «green» education, the theory of cumulative environmental risks, research on the ecological self-concept of individuals) and data from cross-sectional studies. The study involved 210 first- and second-year students, divided into control and experimental groups. The experimental group participated in a semester-long program developed by the author, which included regular outdoor training sessions (outdoor training differentiated by environmental conditions), theoretical lectures on the impact of environmental factors on health, and campus improvement projects. The results showed statistically significant improvements in physical fitness (endurance +14.3%, speed-strength +11.8%), mental well-being (+15.2%), and a significant increase in environmental responsibility (+40.7%). A direct correlation was found between program participation and commitment to a healthy lifestyle (r=0.782). A block model for transforming physical education is proposed, including target-based, content-based, organizational-activity-based, and evaluative-performance components. The practical significance of the work lies in the development of scientifically based recommendations for the implementation of adaptive, environmentally oriented physical education programs in the curricula of universities, which contributes to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good health and well-being; SDG 4: Quality education; SDG 13: Climate action) and the implementation of the National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation.

- Abstract:
- This article examines the age-related dynamics of academic motivation in students aged 10–17 in a modern school setting. The relevance of the study stems from the persistent decline in academic motivation during basic general education, despite the recognition of academic motivation as a key factor in success and personal development. The aim of the study was to identify characteristics and statistically significant differences in the structure of academic motivation among students at three levels of general education: primary (10–11 years old), middle (12–15 years old), and high school (16–17 years old). Ninety-nine students participated in the study. For diagnostics, the method of studying educational motivation by A.K. Makarova and N.V. Kontseva was used, which allows for the assessment of external motivation, cognitive motives, communicative motives and motivation for self-development, as well as the general level of motivation. Development of the Russian socio-economic system: challenges and prospects- Authors:
- Andrei V. Minakov, Liudmila N. Ivanova

- Глава 2
- Abstract:
- The authors underline that issues of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are gaining particular importance in Russian society. Large companies actively support education, healthcare, charity, occupational safety, and reduction of environmental damage, which strengthens their brand, partnerships, and talent pool. Despite external economic and geopolitical challenges, the implementation of social projects faces limitations in funding and weak government support. The purpose of the study is to analyze the evolution of corporate social responsibility in Russia. Methods of analyzing theoretical sources, statistics, and comparative analysis of indicators over several years were applied. Key problems were identified: a decrease in the share of social spending in the revenue of large companies, and a decline in the indices "Responsibility and Openness" and "Vector of Sustainable Development" in the electric power, transport, logistics, and telecommunications sectors. To advance CSR, it is proposed to develop a national standard for non-financial reporting, strengthen government support, and foster intersectoral collaboration on global environmental and social challenges.

Economic sustainability in the context of demographic transition: labor market adaptation and the potential for technological substitution

Development of the Russian socio-economic system: challenges and prospects- Author:
- Aleksandr I. Kugai
- Work direction:
- Глава 3
- Abstract:
- The author emphasizes that amid the global demographic transition of the 2020s, population aging is becoming a defining challenge for the sustainable development of national economies. This chapter examines the impact of changing age structure on labor market performance and long-term economic growth dynamics. The aim of the study is to identify mechanisms for the economic system's adaptation to the increasing share of older age groups and to substantiate strategies for ensuring resilience in the face of a declining working-age population. Labor shortages have been shown to act as a catalyst for accelerated robotization and the implementation of artificial intelligence systems. The integration of age-diversity programs into companies' ESG strategies has been shown to contribute to increased labor productivity. Key risks to long-term GDP associated with declining investment activity and the transformation of consumer demand have been identified. It has been substantiated that economic resilience in the face of an aging population can be achieved not through attempts to artificially «rejuvenate» the workforce, but through the development of a lifelong learning system and the technological substitution of routine operations. The results of the study can be used to adjust state demographic security strategies and corporate talent management policies.

- Abstract:
- This chapter presents the results of a study on the dynamics of agricultural development in the regions of the Central Federal District (CFD) over the period 2010–2024. It was found that the observed growth in gross agricultural output and the increase in production volumes of certain types of agricultural products were shaped by multidirectional structural shifts. Against the backdrop of minor negative changes in the structure of sown areas and livestock populations, a sustained positive trend in increasing the productivity of crops and animals was identified as a compensatory factor. The value of gross output per hectare of agricultural land was selected as an integral indicator of the level of agricultural development in the regions. A ranking of the CFD subjects based on this indicator recorded positive dynamics, expressed in the transition of several regions from the category of low development level to groups with medium and high development levels. As of the end of 2024, 8 regions were classified in the high development level group, and another 8 regions in the medium level group. Only one region remained in the low development level group; however, it possesses potential for further growth provided that the authorities implement an effective structural policy aimed at strengthening food security through state support mechanisms.

External rating management as a tool for the development of regional energy supply systems
Book Chapter
Development of the Russian socio-economic system: challenges and prospects- Author:
- Nikita T. Shabanov
- Work direction:
- Глава 7
- Abstract:
- The chapter examines the mechanisms by which external rating management influences the development of regional energy supply systems in Russia. The author explores the theoretical foundations of rating management as a complex of organizational, information-analytical, and communicative measures aimed at interaction with independent rating institutions. A structural characterization of regional energy systems is provided, along with an analysis of the mechanisms governing their interaction with the external rating management framework through a closed-loop feedback cycle. Five principal mechanisms of rating management are identified and examined: informational, regulatory-legal, economic, organizational-managerial, and socio-psychological. Specific cases illustrating the impact of regional investment ratings, sectoral performance ratings of energy companies, credit ratings, international certification, and public monitoring on the development of regional energy systems are considered. The findings confirm that the combined effect of diverse rating management mechanisms creates a conducive environment for the advancement of regional energy systems and the enhancement of their operational efficiency.

The conceptual and terminological space for developing the problem of personal self-realization

Pedagogy and psychology as sciences of building the potential of modern society- Author:
- Elena N. Shutenko
- Work direction:
- Глава 2
- Abstract:
- The study presents a conceptual-terminological analysis of the problem and category of self-realization. It reveals the methodological assumptions and key theoretical approaches to the development of self-realization issues that prevail in Western and Russian traditions of scientific reflection on phenomenology and becoming of personality. Drawing on fundamental research, the author provides a comparative presentation of the key terms that comprise the categorical field of self-realization (self-actualization, self-fulfillment, self-expression, self-affirmation, self-development). The analysis identifies two methodological poles that form a continuum of approaches and theories of self-realization: ego-centric and culture-centric. The first pole consists of theories that reduce self-realization to an immanent property of the self. The second pole consists of concepts that view self-realization as a derivative of the socio-cultural experience of productive life. The study concludes that the bipolar configuration of the conceptual space of the problem of self-realization is relevant, as it encompasses most leading approaches and theories of heuristic understanding of this problem in its holistic ontology and phenomenology.

- Abstract:
- This chapter examines the pedagogical potential of Lao Tzu's philosophical concept of Tao through the prism of developing a harmonious personality in modern society. The author conceptualizes Tao, interpreting ancient postulates as a methodological basis for modern humanistic pedagogy. The study is based on the following provisions: 1) the limits of verbalization in education (it is proven that the essence of personality development (Tao) is broader than any formal descriptions and boundaries, which requires the teacher to move to non-linear methods of transmitting experience); 2) sensory comprehension of the world (Tao is viewed not as an abstract substance, but as a living process, comprehended through involvement with the surrounding world, which substantiates the importance of empirical and existential learning); 3) the dialectic of pedagogical discourse: Lao Tzu's use of rational and metaphorical speech is analyzed as a prototype of modern problem-based learning methods.

- Abstract:
- The modern education system sets specific requirements for the personality of a future university graduate. In particular, a student should be able to manage their own time and create their own self-development path based on educational principles. Self-reflection is an important aspect of personal development. It reflects the brain's ability to observe its own thought processes, allows to realize the motivations its actions and to evaluating its own activity in order to make the necessary adjustments. Currently, many scientists are talking about the problem of information overload, which is caused by the digitalization of public life and leads to cognitive and regulatory disorders among young people. This work is devoted to the identification of possible means of developing self-reflection skills among university students in the process their mathematics education. An analysis and generalization of the literature on the topic under consideration lead to the conclusion that there is an insufficient representation in the educational space of methodological tools for developing self-reflection among university students. The pedagogical experiment revealed that the electronic self-observation diary developed based on the existing conclusion is an effective means of developing self-reflection skills among students studying mathematics. The organized scientific research has identified a number of issues that require further study.
