    This chapter substantiates the need for systematic work with different types of tests in the process of preparing for the state final certification in Russian. Exam tasks for students in 9th and 11th grades are considered, which require reading competence.     Contextual biology problems are becoming increasingly relevant in the methodology of teaching biology. These problems involve specific life situations that are related to the students' existing knowledge and experience. The need to develop the skills to solve these problems is dictated by the content of the EGE, OGE, and VPR assessment procedures, as well as the "21st-century skills," which include critical thinking and problem-solving, reasoning, analysis, interpretation, and generalization of information, collaboration, including online collaboration, independent work and self-control, research skills and methods, and more.     In the chapter the author pays special attention to the development of interest among younger schoolchildren in studying historical facts in the context of the space of a modern school. As a problem, the author considers the volume of historical concepts offered in the course "The World around us", the lack of methodological resources in verbal teaching tools appropriate to the age and reading literacy of elementary school students. As a solution to this problem, the author suggests using a functional task technique that allows students to diversify their activities while learning about historical facts. The author's judgments are based on the views of scientists who will be of interest to the pedagogical community.

    Abstract:
    The article describes a methodology for solving applied and creative tasks in the course of studying graphic disciplines in order to activate independent work. A general plan for solving applied and creative tasks is presented. A concrete example of solving the same graphical problem in classical and applied formulations is considered. It is revealed that the creative formulation of a graphic problem increases the motivation for studying descriptive geometry, and, consequently, activates the process of independent work of students.

    Emphasizing the importance of passing on the memory of the Great Patriotic War to the younger generation in order to instill in them devotion to their native country, the article proposes to address this topic in foreign language classes in university settings as one of the ways to achieve this aim. Various aspects of topic-based instruction ensuring the development of the necessary communicative competencies of students are considered. The article focuses on authentic tasks and online tools for autonomous work on them: dictionaries, machine translation tools and speech synthesizers.

    The article presents the experience of using an electronic online course "Exam in Computer Science and ICT" in preparing students for the Unified State Exam in computer science. This course was implemented during the implementation of the "Engineering Class" program at the Volgograd State Technical University.     The purpose of the study is to define the concept of “readiness of military units and subunits to perform tasks for their intended purpose”, its essence and structure, criteria and indicators for assessing the formation of readiness.     This article summarizes the experience of practical teaching work on the development of skills and teaching written speech in French in the process of gaining level B1. Within the framework of the competence approach and focusing on modern educational and methodological complexes of French authors, strategies and standard tasks of DELF, teachers rethought and adjusted these scenarios based on their own long-term classroom practice, features and conditions of the curriculum.     Nowadays, large educational institutions focus primarily on the formation and development of basic skills. In air training schools basic skills are supplemented by professional skills. For further work in aviation units, graduates must acquire such qualities as communication skills, creativity, ability to work in a team (crew), and the ability to think critically. But without basic professional skills, cadets will not be able to master the most complex modern aviation equipment. Therefore, for the formation of these skills, it is necessary at the initial stage to be able to solve educational and professional tasks of various levels of integrativity. This article presents the solution of educational and professional tasks of various levels of integrativity, which is a necessary condition for improving the professional level of cadets. The soluition of the educational and professional tasks of different level of integrity as an innovative didactic mean of formation of basic professional skills represented as an integrative course based on the modular approach includes cross-subject lectures, various practical trainings and self-tuition aimed at solution of both academical and professional task of various levels of integrativity via interrelation of special subjects (military and professional) and flying practice.

    Abstract:
    The authors outline that it is necessary to solve such a complex and large-scale problem as the growth of deviations among the younger generation. Also the authors point out the lack of methodological continuity in approaches implemented in the processes of education and upbringing. It is found out that educational models and upbringing models are realized as processes that are not connected to each other, which significantly reduces the effectiveness of the educational process and does not fully take into account all the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the implementation of educational programs. The aim of the work is to establish causal relationships between the development of universal learning activities and the education of a cultural personality, necessary for the harmonious development of adolescents. A number of conceptual models (schemes) that reflect the basic concepts of these processes and the conceptual modeling method were used in order to achieve the aim. The results of the work are the following: presentation of a scenario model of the process of implementing universal learning actions (ULA) and identification of areas of application of efforts of teachers and psychologists in the implementation of adolescents’ deviant behavior correction using methods of art education and cultural studies. The authors make the main conclusion that educational and creative tasks play a system-forming role in the implementation of the ULA, and the methods of art education and cultural studies are an effective tool for correcting deviant behavior.
