  • On the issue of development of students' cognitive abilities in a modern university

    Abstract:
    Changes in the higher education system imply a reorientation of the educational process towards the formation of students' competencies aimed at the social order of society and the state. A significant role among these competencies is assigned to the development of cognitive abilities. Traditional education assumed the development of these skills through text, which is not entirely acceptable for the current generation of students who read noticeably less than their predecessors. In this regard, the purpose of this study was to select the most effective means to promote the development of memory, attention, speech, and thinking logic. The authors of the article, using the example of historical disciplines, came to the conclusion that an important tool for the development of cognitive abilities at the present stage is a workbook. It allows you to structure and expand the acquired knowledge on the subject, train various types of memory, select, critically analyze and interpret available information, monitor and self-monitor the progress of students in a particular course. The diverse format of the proposed assignments, non-standard tasks, and creative projects makes the workbook a universal tool for developing cognitive abilities and improving the effectiveness of teaching in the disciplines of natural science and humanities.

    Abstract:
    The article presents the author's view on the relevance and feasibility of developing communicative competence of participants in the educational process in the era of digitalization of the education system. At the same time, based on the study and analysis of existing interpretations of the concepts of "communication" and "competence", an interpretation of the category of "communicative competence" is proposed within the framework of communications, communities and connections existing in digital education. Based on the content of the formulated definition of the category of "communicative competence", an attempt is made to form a set of the main components or elements of this category. Without denying that achieving communicative competence by all participants in the educational process is currently an objective necessity, both the tools and mechanisms used to develop communicative competence and the technologies implemented in the Moodle LMS and the Yurait OP are presented.

    Physical training is a critically important aspect in the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, since cadets must have not only good health, but also a high level of physical fitness and performance to perform their official duties. The professional activity of rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is connected with work in difficult and dangerous conditions, therefore physical training should be a priority not only in classes at universities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but also in the independent training of cadets. Skill development and attention to independent physical training play an important role in this context, as they are associated with high responsibility for one's own level of physical fitness.

    Abstract:
    The authors summarize information on the methodological aspects of the application of the input-output method to analyze the socio-economic effects of tourism development in the regions. So far, the main practical problem remains the search for methods to optimize the assessment of the contribution of the tourism industry to the economy of the region, to identify the relationships between different sectors of the economy in terms of tourist demand. Systematic analysis and generalization of information were used as research methods. The results of the study allow us to conclude that the integration of the input-output method with econometric models and comparative analysis makes it possible to assess in more detail the multiplicative effect of tourist activity on the economy of the region, including an increase in production, employment and tax revenues.

    The chapter highlights innovative models for the formation of training of engineering personnel in the higher education system of the Russian Federation, identified on the basis of an analysis of materials from federal innovation plans. The work was carried out within the framework of the Research Agreement on "Identification of best practices based on the results of expert evaluation of applications and reports of federal innovation platforms" with LLC "Financial Expert Systems". Moscow, the operator of the organization of the procedure for evaluating the activities of FIP entities within the framework of the execution of the State Contract dated April 25, 2022 No.05.2022.244.02.003.021 for the performance of works (provision of services) under the project "Information, analytical and technological support for the formation and functioning of a network of federal innovation platforms in the advanced educational ecosystem of the Russian Federation".     The article presents the results of a study of professional deficits of modern teachers in the field of communicative competence. The purpose of the scientific work is to identify professional deficits based on the theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and empirical research methods. The relevance of the work is indicated by the needs of the state and society for teachers who are ready to carry out their professional activities in accordance with the new social situation caused by the emergence of modern face-to-face and network communications. The main concepts of the article are determined through the generalization of scientific research. The survey of teachers made it possible to identify deficits in the field of various competencies. The survey of teachers on the subject of professional deficits indicated communicative difficulties, helped to identify ways to overcome difficulties through methodological support and targeted assistance.

    This topic is relevant, due to the consideration of the problems of professional socialization in the scientific pedagogical literature separately, in this study the author considers them integrated and in general. Research problem: what are the essence and functions of pedagogical support for vocational and labour socialization of pupils of an educational organization on the example of students of a technical college, what are the content of the system of pedagogical support and the conditions for the effective organization of the provided pedagogical support? Research methods: theoretical: literature analysis, data synthesis; empirical: conversation, testing. The reliability of the research results is due to the choice of research methods and experimental base adequate to the tasks set, the careful development and justification of experimental designs, the representativeness of the experimental sample, the variety of collected experimental facts, and their number. The experiment showed the high efficiency of applying the personal-situational approach in the educational process with the developed process of vocational and labour socialization of students. The results of the experiment allow us to conclude that it is advisable to organize this process in educational organizations.

    In the present article, we propose an approach to identifying the barriers that hinder the development of purchasing activities of cooperatives in the Chelyabinsk region and the functioning of consumer cooperative enterprises. The analysis allowed us to attribute to such barriers of internal nature for the cooperative sector: systematically low profitability of cooperatives' activity in the sphere of trade, low attractiveness of cooperatives for the economically active population as a sphere of competence application (as a consequence, reduction in the number of shareholders), compression of the infrastructure of procurement and realization of agricultural products. The problems of external character should include the general unfavorable state of production systems of agricultural territories in the region.

    Abstract:
    This study examines the potential and significance of the partnership project method in facilitating the adaptation of international students, as well as the development of their external connections and social environment within the context of Russian society. The paper presents a student partnership project organized by the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at Perm State Medical University and the Department of Foreign Languages at HSE University Perm. The project is executed through practice-oriented inter-university collaboration. Its objectives address interconnected challenges: firstly, the Indian student community in Perm remains isolated and inadequately integrated into the city's cultural and linguistic milieu. Secondly, residents of Perm and students at local universities have limited understanding of the living and educational experiences of the substantial number of international students residing in the city. The significance of the inter-university project lies in providing Perm and Indian students with opportunities to engage with one another, exchange cultural knowledge, establish both friendly and professional communication, and collaborate on the creation of a joint creative product.  This initiative fosters interethnic dialogue and enhances the communication skills and intercultural competence of future professionals.

    Abstract:
    The article explores the use of interactive game-based technologies in teaching Russian to elementary school students. It examines the theoretical foundations and practical application of game-based methods for developing students' lexical and grammatical skills. The results of a pedagogical experiment, aimed at comparing the effectiveness of traditional and game-based teaching approaches, are presented. Based on the data obtained, it is demonstrated that game-based technologies enhance motivation, improve material retention, and foster children's communicative abilities. Practical recommendations for incorporating game-based technologies into the educational process are provided.

    Abstract:
    Higher education is the most important factor in the country's economic development, meeting its needs for professionals trained in universities who are capable of implementing the strategy of technological leadership and making the national economy effective and competitive in the context of political and economic sanctions against Russia. Much attention is paid today by higher education authorities to organizing educational work in universities and involving students in various «activities», which is often done in universities even by removing students from classes. However, due to political and economic sanctions against Russia, the national economy is experiencing a major shortage of professional personnel, which can and should be replenished by university graduates. As a result, higher education authorities and Russian universities should currently pay special attention to the development of higher education as professional education. Unfortunately, administrative and economic methods prevail in matters of the content and organization of higher education in universities, reducing the effectiveness of the development of higher education, namely as professional education. This is due to the fact that the management of universities is forced to pay more attention to financial issues in order to optimize and reduce costs, receive (earn) money through grant activities, implement business contracts, change staffing by increasing the intensity of teachers' work, etc. The study of the situation with Russian higher education, including the method of included observation, allows us to identify problems in the field of training modern professionals in domestic universities. At the same time, the «new model» of Russian higher education, which is planned to be implemented in universities by higher education authorities in the near future, from the standpoint of its possible effectiveness raises many doubts that it will ensure the predictive development of higher education as professional education and will allow meeting the needs of the national economy in the professionals it needs. As a result, the issue of solving all the problems identified in the work, both in higher education itself and with higher education itself, becomes relevant. Based on the analysis, including the conclusions of experts and specialists in the field of higher education development, the needs of organizations for university graduates, a number of measures are proposed that allow, to a certain extent, to solve the existing problems in the area under consideration.
