Annotation

this study used heart rate variability to examine the physical and emotional health of employees in prisons and schools. High-stress jobs in prisons may lead to health problems in employees, as shown by heart rate variability studies. Educational professionals are at risk of developing stress-related problems and unhealthy coping mechanisms. The greatest contribution to the disturbance of heart rate regulation revealed based on LF and VLF indices, which show a disturbance of the physical and emotional state.
