    Abstract:
    This article analyzes methods of psychological and educational support for children grieving the loss of a loved one, within the context of Islamic values ​​and traditions. It examines age-related aspects of how death is perceived in Islam—ranging from the development of a basic sense of security in preschoolers to the comprehension of the concept of *Akhirah* (the afterlife) by adolescents. The article also describes the dual role of religious beliefs: on the one hand, fatalism (expressed in the phrase *Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un*) can facilitate the rapid acceptance of loss; on the other, it may lead to the suppression of natural emotions such as grief and anger, a situation requiring sensitive intervention by an educational psychologist.

    Abstract:
    This article examines the sociocultural barriers and attitudes that shape the views of ethnic Turkmens regarding professional psychotherapy and psychiatry. An analysis of ethnographic data reveals that, for the majority of Turkmens, the initial step in seeking help is to turn to traditional institutions rather than to psychiatrists. The study explores the conflict between the biomedical treatment model and a collectivist culture in which preserving the family's reputation takes precedence over individual psychological well-being.

    Based on survey data, the study examines young people's views on traditional forms of marriage, specifically matchmaking (*gelin tovma*) and arranged marriages. It assesses the extent to which patriarchal attitudes persist in partner selection under the influence of older relatives. The study demonstrates that the institution of arranged marriages is a significant factor in the transformation of the modern Turkmen family, evolving from a rigid, archaic model into a hybrid form where the opinions of the bride and groom are taken into account but remain subject to parental approval.

A new, expanded understanding of the term "soft innovation" is offered. As a result, it is concluded that a combination of innovation and tradition can be achieved within the individual that serves to harmonize the interests of the individual and society.

    Abstract:
    The article analyzes the concept of "service to the Fatherland" as a fundamental traditional value, the protection of which is recognized as a strategic national priority. It substantiates the importance of fostering patriotic attitudes in adolescents, as well as the relevance of searching for and implementing updated socio-cultural formats of education applicable in schools and institutions of additional education. A step-by-step plan for introducing adolescents to the phenomenon of the special military operation is proposed. The author presents a pilot version of the board game "Service to the Fatherland" as an example of a socio-cultural practice that enables the organization of joint activities of schoolchildren, taking into account their age characteristics and in a fundamentally new — game-based — key.

    Abstract:
    This article examines the impact of modernization processes on the material culture of the Karachay people, which have unfolded in Russia in recent times. Using fieldwork, this study examines the preservation of traditional elements and the introduction of innovations in the housing, clothing, and food of the Karachay people. The study utilized a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach and specialized methods (observation and interviews). According to observations, Karachay dwelling types have undergone the greatest transformation. By the 20th century, single-chamber log houses with gable roofs were already rare and were used as auxiliary utility rooms. Among the Karachay, home interiors are also undergoing changes, aligning with urban standards. Transformations also affect traditional dress: its ethnically defining function has been diminished; traditional dress is used primarily in wedding ceremonies, and elements of it may also be present in modern clothing. Despite all this, the Karachay people maintain a traditional diet. In general, the socio-cultural processes occurring in the 20th−21st centuries have directly or indirectly affected the elements of material culture, completely or partially changing them.

  • Linguistic Means of Expressing the Russian Cultural Code in the Texts of the March “Farewell of Slavianka”

    Abstract:
    The article concerns linguistic means of expressing the Russian cultural code in the texts of the march “Farewell of Slavianka”. The article is devoted to the study of the functioning of lexical and grammatical means of expressing the Russian cultural code in the five most famous versions of the text of V. I. Agapkin’s march “Farewell of Slavianka” based on the scientific works of Russian and foreign linguists. The linguistic material is systematized and described using contextual and comparative analysis, as well as quantitative calculations. It has been revealed that each of the five versions of the march's lyrics, given their different historical and ideological contexts, embodies in its own way the specific features of the Russian cultural code, which are embodied and expressed through lexical features (the lexical repetition of keywords from certain thematic groups, lexical synonyms, and antonymous pairs) and grammatical features (the frequent use of imperative verbs, personal, possessive, and definitive pronouns, and the active use of appeals and emotionally charged imperative sentences). These features are used in close connection and interaction with one another, serving as important means of expressing the Russian cultural code. The harmony of the words and music of the march “Farewell of Slavianka” creates a sense of a special emotional mood, spiritual uplift, pride in the country and its people, and a sense of belonging to the events described. These qualities make the “Farewell of Slavianka” march one of the most important and vibrant bearers and exponents of the Russian cultural code.

    This article provides a comprehensive examination of the life and daily life of the Russian peasantry in the 19th century—a key period in Russian history marked by the abolition of serfdom and the beginning of rural modernization. The work analyzes the social status of peasants, the differences between serfs and state peasants, the consequences of the 1861 reform, the specifics of labor organization, the role of the rural community, housing, food, and clothing conditions, as well as family, religious, and cultural traditions. The authors attempt to examine peasant life through the lens of everyday life, including clothing, food, housing, customs, and religiosity.

    The article discusses some problematic issues related to the improvement of the system of military-patriotic education of Russian youth at the current stage. It analyzes the goals, objectives, and methods of military-patriotic education implemented by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in particular, in cooperation with government agencies and public organizations. Special attention is given to a critical analysis of the regulatory legal framework, organizational forms, and practical results of activities in this area. Based on the results of a comparative legal analysis, certain proposals are formulated for using the experience of military-patriotic education in China, involving veterans of wars and armed conflicts.     Abstract:
    The article examines horse riding, a traditional martial art of the nomadic peoples of the Great Steppe, which has gone through a centuries–old path to modern sports. Special attention is paid to the causes and mechanisms of the revival of horse riding in modern Russia since 2005. The author reveals the multifaceted potential of horse riding as a tool for patriotic education and socialization of young people: strengthening physical health; familiarization with Cossack culture and historical traditions; development of teamwork skills, responsibility and quick decision-making; the formation of empathy and skills of interaction with a living being. It is concluded that riding is not only a sports field, but also an effective mechanism for preserving cultural heritage, transferring national traditions and forming vital competencies among the younger generation.

    The preservation and strengthening of traditional values is the main vector of Russia's future development as a civilizational state. This paper examines the specifics of teaching the course, and reveals the experience of implementing the academic discipline «Fundamentals of Russian Statehood» in 2023–2025 academic years. The author focuses on the evolution of the interpretation of the term «values» and its understanding in modern social sciences and humanities. Attention is drawn to the importance of the education system in shaping the traditional values of Russian students. In this paper, methodological recommendations and discussion problems that emerged during the teaching of the training course are formulated. It is concluded that the key direction of the future development of Russia as a state-civilization is the organization of a system of targeted education and upbringing, especially among Russian students.
