PHENOMENOLOGY OF THE FORMATION AND MECHANISMS OF DESTRUCTURING OF PRIMARY ANXIETY: INTERDISCIPLINARY ANALYSIS OF THE PROCESSES OF DISIDENTIFICATION WITH PERINATAL PATTERNS
Book Chapter
Issues of education and psychology- Author:

- Abstract:
- This chapter conducts an interdisciplinary analysis of the genesis of constitutional anxiety rooted in the prenatal and perinatal experience of an individual. The phenomenon is considered through the prism of psychology, neuroscience, phenomenology, anatomy, neurophysiology, as well as esoteric and religious teachings, which allows us to form a holistic view of the mechanisms of the formation of the «unconscious body template». It is an incorporated emotional-hormonal complex of the mother, perceived by the fetus as its own basic reality. The paper postulates the need for the process of conscious disidentification with these prepersonal patterns as a key condition for the destructuring of pathological anxiety. Within the framework of the phenomenological approach, the process during which the conscious part of the psyche acquires the ability to observe and separate from unconscious bodily sensations, which leads to the cessation of the transmission of anxiety and the transition to a meta-position of understanding what is happening, is described in detail. Typical mistakes of psychotherapeutic practice that prevent effective work with this level of anxiety are analyzed. In conclusion, a specific step-by-step algorithm for psychotherapeutic work with clients is proposed, aimed at achieving a state of disidentification and gaining regulatory control over bodily and emotional states.

- Abstract:
- This study examines the relationship between the reflection of mental states and various aspects of psychological well-being in college students within secondary vocational education. Methods: 398 students (15–24 years) from Cheboksary Medical College participated. Standardized psychodiagnostic methods assessed reflexivity (Karpov, Ponomareva), anxiety (Spielberger), mental states (Eysenck), and psychological well-being (K. Riff). Conclusions: Reflection of mental states showed statistically significant, though ambiguous, relationships with student mental life. Positive correlations emerged between reflection and anxiety, rigidity, meaningfulness of life, and self-perception as an open system. A negative correlation was found with aggressiveness. However, no significant correlations appeared between reflection and most K. Riff psychological well-being indicators, or overall well-being. These results underscore reflection's complex nature, indicating a need to develop its adaptive forms for student psychological health in the educational process.

- Abstract:
- Abstract: Every year there are more children with an increased level of emotional disorders. Anxiety in older preschool children is a fairly common and dangerous phenomenon in modern society. At this stage of life, the processes of growing up of a child are actively taking place, a full-fledged awareness of himself and his "I" begins, and the main psycho-emotional characteristics are formed. A persistent or frequently recurring state of anxiety leads to disruption of such processes. Basic mental functions such as thinking, perception, speech, and memory can be particularly affected. The use of art therapy today is one of the mildest and at the same time effective methods of correcting anxiety in preschoolers. The creative and playful tasks underlying the method can significantly improve the child's psycho-emotional state, develop attention and imagination, and get rid of disturbing fears and negative thoughts.

- Abstract:
- The article explores the issue of distinguishing between the concepts of fear, anxiety, and worry within the frameworks of classical and contemporary psychological perspectives. It examines the historical origins of these constructs, beginning with ancient philosophers such as Plato, Epicurus, and the Stoics and continuing with more recent theories, such as those of Sigmund Freud, Carroll Izard, and Charles Spielberger. Despite their frequent interchangeability, the article emphasizes that these concepts differ in fundamental ways. Special attention is given to the classification of anxiety, with various approaches to its understanding being considered. The conclusion draws attention to the importance of establishing clear distinctions between these terms for both theoretical and practical applications in psychology.

- Abstract:
- The period of study at a higher education institution is accompanied by significant cognitive and emotional stresses associated with academic requirements, social adaptation and professional self-determination. These factors create prerequisites for the occurrence of stressful situations and the intensification of negative mental states such as anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness and rigidity. Under conditions of chronic stress, these conditions can develop into maladaptive behaviors, reducing academic motivation and worsening students' overall mental health. The article examines the relationship between the level of emotional intelligence, previously differentiated on the basis of the analysis into three groups (high, medium and low levels), and the severity of negative mental states, including situational and personal anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness and rigidity, which made it possible to identify the features of their mutual influence in the student sample. The data allow us to conclude that the level of emotional intelligence has a moderating effect on the intensity of experiencing negative mental states among students, where a high level of emotional intelligence contributes to a decrease in the severity of all negative states studied, while a low level of emotional intelligence is associated with their intensification. It is concluded that it is necessary to include emotional intelligence development programs in the educational process in order to increase the psychological stability of students and their adaptation to learning conditions.

- Abstract:
- The article studies the actual aspects of improving the system of psychological and pedagogical support in modern educational institutions, where the growth of anxiety, stress and professional burnout is one of the key problems. The main objective of the study is to develop a scientifically grounded model of support, taking into account both the individual characteristics of the participants of the educational process and the potential of modern technologies to improve the effectiveness of the educational environment. To achieve the set goals, the methods of metaprogram analysis, standard diagnostic tools (Spielberger-Hanin scale to assess anxiety and Maslach-Jackson questionnaire to analyze professional burnout) were applied, and digital platforms of psychological support were integrated. The study covered more than 500 participants of the educational process from municipal schools of Yekaterinburg. The key results demonstrate a significant reduction in students' anxiety level by 15% and an increase in their academic performance by 12% (p < 0.01), which confirms the high effectiveness of personalized educational routes based on metaprogram analysis. The obtained data are of high practical significance and can be used to create a universal model of support adapted to the modern conditions of educational institutions.

- Abstract:
- In team sports, a significant role belongs to the team characteristics of the personality of athletes. In recent years, cheerleading has grown as one of the most popular extreme sports. The purpose of the study was to study the psychological characteristics of the personality of cheerleading athletes, aimed at team building and reducing injuries. To achieve this goal, V.K. Gerbachevsky’s “Level of claims”, C.D. Spielberger and Y.L. Khanin’s “Personal and situational anxiety”. V.V. Boyko’s “Communicative tolerance” methods were chosen. Based on the results of the analysis, a psychological model of a correctional program developed and implemented, aimed at team building and reducing the anxiety of athletes. Athletes of 15–16 years of cheerleading of the first (n = 15), including the introduction of the model of the program and the second composition (n = 15), who were engaged in the usual program, examined. It conducted the studies in natural conditions during cheerleading training. The program included psychological training and teamwork on complex acrobatic elements for 60 days. The received data processed using the methods of mathematical statistics with the calculation of M±m ±(. The significance of differences was determined by Student’s t-test for parametric data. It performed the correlation analysis using the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) and the coefficient of determination (R2). The study results showed that, in order to form a team and reduce injuries in it, team sports should consider age patterns and developmental features. When developing models of correctional programs, one should focus in the training process not only on developing the skills of joint movements of athletes, but pay special attention to the formation of such team characteristics as trust, responsibility, mutual understanding, mutual respect, tolerance. Particular attention should pay to the relationship between the team and the coach, who responsibility for team ethics and a comfortable environment in the team of athletes.

- Abstract:
- The article is devoted to the study of some psychosocial and psychoemotional aspects of medical students and their parents and relatives living together. The work is relevant, as the pandemic of the new coronovirus infection COVID-19 is currently ongoing in Russia and in the world. The study is also interesting in that despite a number of works by various authors – scientists and teachers of higher education studying aspects of the psychoemotional state of students, very few works are devoted to their relationship and the dynamics of these relationships with their loved ones – parents and relatives, especially against the backdrop of a pandemic of a new viral infection., which was the aim of this study. The objects of the study were 359 people. The 1st and 2nd groups included 100 students, men and women, of the medical faculty of VSMU. N.N. Burdenko (5 course); Group 3 consisted of 159 people, men and women, who were related to representatives of group 2 and lived together with them. The study was based on an anonymous questionnaire specially developed by the authors, aimed at studying the gender and age composition of the respondents, identifying the main psychosocial and psychoemotional interactions of the objects of study, including determining the conditions of their residence and determining the circle of persons living with them; determining the main aspects of their interpersonal relationships, including their «warmth» and the frequency of quarrels and omissions; determination of susceptibility to stress in the objects of study, the severity of anxiety in certain periods of life and the possible presence of true depressive or depressive-like states in them. - Abstract:
- The article presents the results of the study of some socio-psychological characteristics of preschool children with unpopular sociometric statuses. The sociometric structure of a small social group is the result of its development and has a significant impact both on the functioning of the group itself and on the socio-psychological development of its members. On the one hand, personality traits along with other factors of psychical development and socialization contribute to or hinder the acquisition of favorable sociometric statuses. On the other hand, the possession of a certain sociometric status has an impact on the development of socio-psychological characteristics of the individual. Children with unpopular statuses are situated at the zone risk. The aim of the work was to study the socio-psychological characteristics of children with unpopular sociometric statuses. The study was conducted in preschool educational institutions of Petrozavodsk, Prionezhsky and Medvezhyegorsky districts of the Republic of Karelia. We used some methods to test the hypothesis. These are the «Secret» method, «Observation of children's communication», the Rosenzweig test, the «Monitoring aggressive behavior of children» method. The results of the study. The study found that neglected and ignored children have got by aggression and anxiety; demonstration of aggression and anxiety in children with unpopular sociometric statuses are determined by the strength of the need for communication (initiative). These qualities are inherent in children who have a high need for communication. In rejected and isolated children with low need for communication, these qualities are not expressed. Anxiety differs in situations of interaction with peers or adults. The results of the study determine new tasks and the direction of correctional and developmental work with unpopular children.

- Abstract:
- The article is devoted to the study of the reasons for volunteering among students of a medical university during the Covid-19 pandemic, with the definition of some of its psychological aspects. This topic is currently very relevant, since now a pandemic of a new coronavirus infection continues in the world. Given the widespread shortage of medical personnel, volunteer assistance is becoming an extremely important aspect in the comprehensive process of providing comprehensive care to covid patients. Medical students in their volunteering activities most often find their «place» either in hospitals or in call centers. The objects of a 2-stage study, conducted in May – June 2020 and in December – January 2021, were 150 medical students, divided by 50 people into 3 groups, depending on the course of students (1–2, 3–4, 5–6). The main reasons that prompted medical students to volunteer were studied, as well as their changes in dynamics, from the «first wave» to the «second wave» of Covid-19. It was found that most of the future doctors were eager to help people and participate in the general fight against the new coronavirus infection. The next part of the study was to determine, using the Spielberg method, the levels of anxiety among students during the «first and second» waves. A certain dynamics of various levels of anxiety was revealed, which may indicate a kind of psychological adaptation. This work is of certain interest, both for practicing psychologists and for teachers of higher education.

- Abstract:
- This work is devoted to some aspects of the psychological adaptation of students of a medical university to the distance learning process during a pandemic of a new coronavirus infection. The presented research is relevant for several reasons, the leading of which are: the ongoing reform of the education and health care systems in our country – both of which affect students of medical universities and various aspects of their educational activities, including their psychological adaptation to it; as well as the global pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 that emerged in 2020, as a result of which, almost all scientists at various levels around the world were forced to switch to distance learning. The purpose of this work was to identify and analyze some elements of psychological adaptation of students directly to the distance learning process. The objects of the study were 200 men and women, students of the medical faculty. A certain interest in the study is also due to the fact that the same students were involved in it for 2 semesters (spring and autumn) of 2020. In order to track the development of their possible adaptation mechanisms to distance learning, the level of anxiety, both personal and situational, was determined; identified various depressive states; determined the reasons for the main fears and concerns, both directly to the period of an unfavorable epidemiological situation, and to the distance learning process itself. The main points of psychological adaptation were identified, with the identification of factors contributing to them. This work is of certain interest for all higher school teachers involved in the educational process with students, as well as for psychologists and all kinds of researchers dealing with the psychological health of students.

- Abstract:
- The paper deals with the issue of complex treatment of patients with various oncological pathologies. General concepts of modern, approved by the Ministry of Health, approaches to the therapy of cancer patients, as well as the concept of an oncological consultation are generalized. Possible disadvantages of existing treatment methods are indicated, including the lack of qualified psychological support for patients. Some authors advocate the need to introduce psychologists and psychoanalysts into the oncoconsilium, since a positive attitude of the patient himself can have a positive effect on the overall outcome of the disease. The aim of the work was an attempt to analyze some aspects of the psychoemotional state of women with breast cancer throughout: from the state of «well-being» to the establishment of a clinical diagnosis, followed by a period of treatment; the study also includes 2 periods of «waves» of new coronavirus infection. The subjects of the study were 150 female patients suffering from breast cancer. All of them were divided into 3 groups of 50 women, depending on age: 20–39 years old, 40–59 years old, 60–80 years old. The study was carried out using a questionnaire (according to a questionnaire specially developed by the authors), as well as using the Zung and Spielberg methods. We studied the level of anxiety of the patients, the level of their depressive states, depending on the «control point» (a total of 5 were allocated, in which the research stages were carried out) of the study and the age of the patients. There were identified 2 main «peaks» of psychoemotional states – the moment of clinical diagnosis and the period of the «first wave» of a new coronavirus infection. It was during these periods that the level of anxiety increased in patients, and depressive states developed. Some interesting features were also identified: for example, if the greatest fears during the «first wave» were caused by fear of Covid-19, then during the «second wave» the problems of financial security and, in fact, treatment were at the fore. The data obtained may be of interest both for doctors who treat cancer patients and healthcare organizers, and for psychologists and psychoanalysts.
