- In the process of forming the elements of industrial engineering, practical classes in physics at a technical university play a significant role. A rational selection of the tasks under consideration determines the level of mastery of educational material and influences the potential capabilities of future engineers. Solving standard, frontal, cognitive and multi-level problems contributes to an in-depth understanding of the material and the development of practical skills and competencies among students. The process of solving physical problems with applied technical content motivates students to innovate, develops creativity and practical interest in scientific and seminar research. Combining different teaching methods develops problem-solving skills and contributes to a more complete mastery of the training program.

- This article examines the issue of organizing meta-subject activities of students in the process of organizing physics classes, both in regular and extracurricular activities using educational action maps. The author comes to the conclusion that the system of tasks of the map contributes to the creation of educational situations that ensure a fruitful beginning, flow and completion of cognitive activity of students. - This article defines the concepts of «project method», «independent work of students». - Abstract:
- In the chapter the necessity and possibility of application of digital tools in the higher school for the organization of the educational process directed on formation of professional kinds of activity, connected with designing and carrying out of a modern physics lesson, is proved. Methodological basis of the study was the psychological and pedagogical theory of activity, the basic laws which are formulated by the well-known domestic psychologist P.Ya. Galperin. A system of digital educational resources aimed at the formation of abilities to design and conduct lessons in which students create concepts about a physical phenomenon, a physical object, a physical quantity, establish scientific facts and discover physical laws, as well as apply the acquired knowledge in specific situations was developed. The structure and the contents of electronic educational resources realized in electronic educational environment of higher educational institution in the course "Methods of teaching physics" are presented. They include information block, block of formed kinds of activity, block of educational-methodical materials, forum and control. The advantages of the educational process organization with the use of electronic educational resources are proved and the results of long-term pedagogical experiment in the implementation of the developed model of e-learning are presented.

Study of Self-Purification of Water Body Physical Mechanism as Part of "Complex Usage of Water Resources" Academic Subject

- Abstract:
- The article highlights the methodological issues of physical self-purification mechanisms of water bodies; they are closely related to the problem of protection and multipurpose water resources utilization. Methods of enhancing the physical processes of water bodies’ self-purification are described and considered to be included in lectures in construction educational institutions. Radioactive, mechanical, electromagnetic, and thermal mechanisms are characterized in detail. According to the authors, knowing of the physical mechanisms of self-purification will decrease the depletion of water resources and reduce their pollution.

- The section of the monograph describes the author's methodology for implementing a practice-oriented educational process in physics through teaching schoolchildren in methods of solving applied problems and implementing projects. The content of the activity on the development of an educational project is highlighted, the final product of which is a model of a technical device designed to solve vital problems for a person. The requirements for the formulations of applied problems reflecting the purpose and specific properties of a technical device are identified. The applied problems are given, the solution of which in physics lessons makes it possible to form a generalized method of creating a material object of a certain purpose. Methods of creation are described and photographs of some operating models of technical devices, such as «gateway», «granary», «lights», «transformer» are given.

Multi-Level Complex Tasks in the System of Assessment Tools (On Example of a Physics Course)

- The article discusses the problem of forming a system of assessment tools in the context of modular competence-based learning. The aim of the research is to find the optimal means for assessing the level of competence formation. In author’s opinion, one of the abovementioned means is complex tasks that include several multi-level components. Based on the analysis of ways to solve this problem, presented in the scientific and pedagogical literature, the author offers criteria for selecting tasks for the formation of a system of assessment tools aimed at diagnosing the level of formation of necessary competencies, shows the role of complex tasks for such diagnostics. Using the example of the physics course, their possible structure and the problems solved by individual elements of this structure are reviewed. Examples of such tasks are given, and it is shown that they allow to diagnose the level of formation of individual elements of competence, adjust teaching methods and motivate students to work actively, seek out additional information, promote awareness of the importance of discipline as a professional one. The results of the research generalize the personal experience of teaching physics at the Far Eastern Federal University and can be used by university teachers in creating their own system of assessment tools.

- The work is aimed at resolving the question: «How is «human metaphysics» possible?» The necessity of establishing an independent disciplinary status of this branch of metaphysics is substantiated. The contradictory constitution of its objectivity is shown: the subject is given through the metaphysical effort of man; the method is essentially identical to the subject. Human metaphysics acts as a process of realization of the metaphysical essence of man and at the same time as a reflection of this process, the theory of metaphysics. The following are distinguished as the basis of the theory of human metaphysics: the idea of the metaphysical essence of man and the idea of man as the ontological basis of existence. They form respectively two main trends of «human metaphysics»: philosophical-anthropological and ontological. In addition to them, epistemological, socio-philosophical, ethical trends were identified; the development of the last two of them is most in demand today.

Formation of the World Picture and Tasks of Modern Education

- The purpose of the article is analysis of a stable holistic world picture formation ways in university students. The relevance of the issue is due to the fact that the formation of the most significant concepts that form the basis of the modern scientific world picture, often suffers from fragmentation, the knowledge gained by students in different sections of the same course, are little connected with each other, do not form a unified system. To ensure the unity of scientific knowledge, it is necessary to provide for the implementation of «comprehensive» generalizations throughout the whole course. The following methods were applied during the study: theoretical, analysis, comparison. This study proposes the criteria for selecting the main generalizing ideas and the conditions necessary for their successful work. The results of the study are concretized on the example of the space-time representations formation in the course of general physics in the university. The choice is due to the fact that the categories of space and time belong to the most fundamental concepts of science and culture, are a reflection of the universal attributes of matter. To solve the tasks, the analysis of the state of the problem in the methodology of teaching physics was carried out. It is concluded that the main ideas can serve as a basis for the space-time representations formation. The proposed provisions summarize the personal experience of teaching the course of general physics at the Far Eastern Federal University.
