    В статье исследована социально-экономическая сфера Вологодской губернии в период 1914–1915 годов: основываясь на периодической печати Вологодчины, иллюстрируется один из факторов, свидетельствующий о снижении доверия у населения, рассматриваемого в научной статье региона, к существующему в начале XX века монархическому режиму. Методологическую основу работы составляют диалектический метод познания социальных явлений, историко-правовой, а также общенаучные методы (синтез, анализ). Результатом исследования стало отражение реакции местной власти на социально-экономические проблемы (ухудшение жизни населения, трудности с продовольствием, рост цен, реакция населения на сложившиеся в указанный период обстоятельства) общества Вологодской губернии в 1914–1915 годах.

    Abstract:
    The objective of the chapter is to elaborate suggestions for improving the mechanisms of building harmonious interfaith relations in the Arkhangelsk region. On the basis of statistical data and normative legal acts the current state of intergroup interaction is analysed and the regional policy guidelines for religious associations are identified. The authors confirm the predominantly peaceful nature of interactions in the multi-religious community. The need for more intensive actions on the part of both the authorities and the clergy to achieve the common objective of developing allied relations between confessions is emphasised. The experience of the implementation of measures for state regulation of interfaith relations in the Federal Republic of Germany is described. The suggestions for the executive authorities of the Arkhangelsk region are formulated.

    The chapter is devoted to the study of river ice formation factors and determination of their parameters in natural conditions. Hydrodynamic pressure in ice hillocks affects the stability of structures. The authors consider the modes of frost formation, establish the processes of intensive formation of ice in the upper and lower parts of the stream, and propose calculation dependences for practical application.

    Emphasizing the importance of passing on the memory of the Great Patriotic War to the younger generation in order to instill in them devotion to their native country, the article proposes to address this topic in foreign language classes in university settings as one of the ways to achieve this aim. Various aspects of topic-based instruction ensuring the development of the necessary communicative competencies of students are considered. The article focuses on authentic tasks and online tools for autonomous work on them: dictionaries, machine translation tools and speech synthesizers.

    The article is dedicated to Alexander Vladimirovich Volkov (1992–2023), a scientist-archaeologist, a member of the search team «St. George's Ribbon», who worked as the head of the sector of archaeology and ancient history of the Chuvash National Museum. He was known for his multifaceted activities in different fields. The purpose of our article is to restore the facts of his biography and to characterize the main directions of his activities on the basis of documentary, scientific works and oral history sources collected by us. A young scientist, archaeologist, he consciously came to the search movement and consciously volunteered for a special military operation to defend the Motherland, where he died heroically. Alexander put a lot of effort to preserve the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, now it is our duty to keep his memory alive.

    Abstract:
    The article examines the influence of external factors on education due to the peculiarities of the current reality of the BANI world. The signs of this world are understood in the context of changes in education as answers to the challenges of the new reality. The relationship of changes of the modern era in the form of challenges for education, pedagogical practice of training and upbringing, the need for personal development of students is disclosed. The specifics of modern practice meeting the requirements of the new reality were noted. The meanings of changes in the formation of a new reality are indicated: the model of «four-dimensional education» in the 21st century, the development of the personal potential of the student as a subject of the educational process, the use of pedagogical tools for the development of personal potential and the creation of a personal-developing educational environment. These meanings also include: the embodiment of the ideas of personalized training, a new model of the teacher's professionalism in changing conditions, developing management in educational organizations and his tools. The contribution of scientists to the development of scientific and theoretical responses to new challenges of our time to the education system, the pedagogical process of education and training, the process of personal development of a person is outlined. The results of the analytical work are presented in the form of provisions and key issues interpreting new meanings of changes in education.
