- Социально-экономическое развитие общества: исторический аспект
- Abstract:
- This article examines the Baptism of Rus' in 988 as a complex process with multiple facets, transcending the boundaries of a simple religious act. The author explains how the adoption of Christianity from Byzantium became a means of centralizing political power, legitimizing the prince's rule, and creating a new ideological system. Cultural changes are analyzed: the emergence of writing, changes in architecture and art, and the emergence of an understanding of history through chronicles and religious texts. The article notes the long and inconsistent process of Christianization, manifested in the mixing of religions and the persistence of pagan elements. Finally, it concludes that Baptism became the foundation not only of the ancient Russian state but also of a model for the development of civilization, whose characteristics—from the idea of a "special path" to the modern relationship between the government and the Church—are present in Russian identity to this day.

- Work direction:
- Ethno-Cultural Problems of Education
- Abstract:
- This paper focuses on the study of ethnic onomastics as a means of supplementing of the middle school geography curriculum. The work is devoted to the study of the developmental and educational potential of ethnic onomastics. Ethnic onomastics includes such proper names as ethnonyms, anthroponyms, toponyms, mythonyms, theonymy, cosmonymy. It is in ethnic onomastics that the unique image of a people, the richness and beauty of their language, their moral and aesthetic values, and their environmental and religious views are expressed in a concentrated form. Much of ethnic onomastics is significant at the level of symbolism, as it is associated with symbolic personalities, symbolic events and historical legends. The author selected and didactically revised onomastic material, arranging onyms by topic in accordance with the study plan for the “Geography of Russia” course. Onomastic assignments were developed, incorporating onyms reflecting the cultural and ethnic characteristics of the region. The author’s school geography curriculum was tested in schools in Gorno-Altaisk and demonstrated its effectiveness. Furthermore, a special course developed for geography teachers using ethnocultural onomastic material enhanced the effectiveness of pedagogical efforts. The methodological materials developed by the author can be recommended for developing students’ interest in geography and the culture of their native land, fostering a love for their homeland and a sense of belonging to its history, and, overall, cultivating cultural competence.

- Abstract:
- The chapter explores the mechanisms of staff involvement in the digital transformation processes of an organization, from resistance to acceptance of changes. It examines the reasons for resistance, such as fear of losing work, uncertainty about roles, and concerns about the comfort and familiarity of old processes. The chapter proposes a multi-level approach to involvement, which includes strategic leadership, transparent communication, employee participation in planning, opportunities for training and retraining, and the creation of a safe space for feedback. The chapter presents practical methods: targeted communication campaigns, joint formation of a roadmap of changes, involvement of employees in pilot projects, use of agile methodologies and design thinking to minimize resistance. Special attention is paid to measuring the effectiveness of involvement through KPI, satisfaction surveys, indices of perception of changes and monitoring of the organization's culture. Spiritual Culture of the Oirats in the Yuan and Early Ming Dynasties
Research Article
Ethnic Culture Volume 7 No 3- Authors:
- Baatr U. Kitinov, Iue Sun
- Work direction:
- Ethnography, Ethnology and Anthropology
- Abstract:
- This article explores the spiritual culture of the Oirats against the backdrop of major historical transformations during the Yuan and early Ming dynasties. The authors briefly examine the shift in the Oirats religious beliefs from the shamanism that prevailed in the pre-Mongol period to the gradual adoption of Buddhism through migration and contact with other cultures. Our research reveals that the Oirats developed a rich culture encompassing an epic heritage and a body of mythological and religious concepts. The article traces the role of political and cultural factors, including the participation of the Oirats in the conquest policy of Genghis Khan, their integration into the cultural system of the Mongol Empire, as well as the further rise of Oirat rulers in the Ming era. Attention is also given to the consolidation of Buddhism, which began to take hold under Toghon and became the state religion under Esen. Moreover, Esen employed high-ranking Buddhist monks in the capacity of state preceptors, underscoring the alignment of the nations ideological framework with the strengthening of relations with the Ming dynasty. Historical sources confirm active diplomatic exchanges between the Oirats and Ming China. It is concluded that the Oirats’adoption of Buddhism played a decisive role in preserving their ethno-cultural integrity and fostering unity amidst interethnic interactions.

- The author draws attention to the controversial issues in the study of the phenomenon of patriotism, since the topic has been studied by many scientists: political scientists, psychologists, philosophers and representatives of other sciences, which indicates its complex and interdisciplinary nature. It is necessary to responsibly approach the solution of this problem in terms of obtaining new knowledge and at the same time substantiating the idea of patriotism as a value and national ideal. Polar opposites are the interpretations of patriotism as a loyal attitude to the state, adoration of the monarch, on the one hand, and love for a person, family and small homeland, on the other hand. Complete and authentic patriotism seeks to cover all aspects of this phenomenon and is distinguished by tolerance for other opinions. In this regard, the author considers the concept of “patriotism culture” to be the most significant, which allows one to find a compromise between authentic (genuine
