- Социально-экономическое развитие общества: исторический аспект
- Abstract:
- This article examines the Baptism of Rus' in 988 as a complex process with multiple facets, transcending the boundaries of a simple religious act. The author explains how the adoption of Christianity from Byzantium became a means of centralizing political power, legitimizing the prince's rule, and creating a new ideological system. Cultural changes are analyzed: the emergence of writing, changes in architecture and art, and the emergence of an understanding of history through chronicles and religious texts. The article notes the long and inconsistent process of Christianization, manifested in the mixing of religions and the persistence of pagan elements. Finally, it concludes that Baptism became the foundation not only of the ancient Russian state but also of a model for the development of civilization, whose characteristics—from the idea of a "special path" to the modern relationship between the government and the Church—are present in Russian identity to this day.

- Abstract:
- A comprehensive analysis of the modern environment for the course of the normative identity crisis. On the basis of the classical theories of E. Erikson and J. Marcia explored the characteristic mechanisms by which social networks, the attention economy, and algorithmic systems exacerbate the phenomena of diffusion, predetermination, and prolonged identity moratorium. It is substantiated that the digital environment transforms the identity of crises from temporary stages of development to a guaranteed permanent state. As a methodological key for solving the problems, the philosophical and psychological distinction between the concepts of "self-consciousness" (as pure awareness) and "identity" (as meaningful constructions) is investigated. On this basis, a multi-level model for limiting the blocks of the identity crisis is developed, including the development of metacognitive skills ("digital surveillance"), the practice of conscious consumption of content, methods of narrative implemen

- Abstract:
- The chapter critically rethinks the phenomenon of the so-called «hyperawareness». It is proved that this construct hides not increased awareness, but the strengthening of classical defense mechanisms – rationalization and intellectualization «informational pseudo-transformation» – the replacement of real personal changes with the mastery of psychological language. A fundamentally new concept of overcoming the crisis through the integration of the experience gained into professional and social activities is proposed. - Abstract:
- This article examines the emergence of the Cossacks in Rus' as the result of a long socio-historical synthesis on the southern periphery of Russian lands in the 13th–16th centuries. An analysis of written sources, archaeological data, and historiography allows us to identify key factors in the genesis of the Cossacks: the depopulation of the southern "outskirts" after the Mongol invasion, the constant threat of nomadic raids, the migration of socially mobile groups, and the preservation of ancient Russian military traditions. Particular attention is given to an early 20th-century discussion between Cossack regional specialist E. P. Savelyev and professional historian P. P. Sakharov, reflecting the methodological conflict between patriotic interpretation and academic skepticism. The author concludes that the Cossacks were not a marginal freemen, but an institutionalized border community that combined elements of communal democracy, military ethics, and service loyalty to the Muscovite s

The Great Patriotic War as an Epic and Memory
Book Chapter
Development of the Russian socio-economic system: challenges and prospects- Author:
- Aleksandr I. Kugai
- Work direction:
- Глава 10
- Abstract:
- National self-consciousness is structured in such a way that it is based on historical memory. The past must be presented to the present and experienced by contemporaries. National self-consciousness is formed not so much by science, but rather by the political will of the ruling and intellectual elite. The core of national self-consciousness is formed by the epic mythos. Preservation of national mythology is no less important for the country's sovereignty than preservation of natural resources. Among the most significant political events that determine the national self-consciousness of the current generation of Russian citizens is the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War over Nazi Germany. The chapter analyzes the attitude to Victory Day in different periods of Russian political history: from military heroism to labor enthusiasm (Stalin and Khrushchev periods); giving state status to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, as the second most important national holiday after the Great October Socialist Revolution (Brezhnev, Gorbachev periods); under the slogan «war without embellishment» – denigration of the results of the Great Patriotic War» (Yeltsin period); the establishment of Victory Day as the main national holiday (Putin period).

Language loyalty to the ethnic language among the Hausa community in Khartoum
Research Article
Ethnic Culture Volume 7 No 2- Author:
- Muhammad N. Osman
- Work direction:
- World languages and literature
- Abstract:
- This article presents the results of a comprehensive study of the language loyalty of Hausa speakers in the urban environment of Khartoum. Based on field data collected in 2022–2025 (one hundred in-depth interviews and questionnaires), the key factors influencing the preservation of the ethnic language in the diaspora community are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the intergenerational dynamics of language preferences, strategies of language socialization, and the role of language attitudes in identification processes. An analysis of language loyalty in the Hausa diaspora environment showed that, in addition to the traditional criterion of recognizing an ethnic language as native, important indicators include practices of preserving cultural heritage. In the Khartoum diaspora, a special role is played by maintaining song traditions and watching foreign films in the Hausa language, and regular meetings of community representatives. For most respondents, the native language performs a predominantly symbolic function, serving as a marker of group identity and a bearer of cultural values. In general, the results demonstrate a complex picture of language shift, where the traditional “home-street-school” triad undergoes significant transformations under the influence of urbanization processes. The study makes a significant contribution to understanding the mechanisms of language stability in the context of Arabic-African language contact.

Principles of building a new ecosystem: social, economic and legal aspects- Author:
- Liudmila P. Gadzaova
- Work direction:
- Глава 8
- Abstract:
- The chapter discusses some relevant aspects of higher education, as the author believes, as the basis of national strategies to provide students with the knowledge and competencies they need, which employers and the labor market require. It stands out that higher education is becoming an increasingly effective tool for integrating graduates into the modern labor market and opens up opportunities for professional development and the development of their personal abilities and mobility. The competitiveness of graduates in the labor market is an important indicator of the quality of university activities and the economic health of society, enabling economists and policy makers to assess human resources, the state of the labor market and the main economic trends that affect this dynamic. No less important, according to the author, are the moral values of a specialist. In order to increase success rates, the university takes various measures, which primarily relate to professional practice-orientation, the design of pedagogical support for education and increased motivation to study through an emphasis on applied aspects. The author emphasizes that the task of universities is to train not only highly professional specialists, but also patriots and moral personalities who are ready to defend their country and work for its welfare. The high level of competition encourages universities to carry out high-quality educational activities, motivate graduates to pursue fundamental, good studies in order to avoid further problems of unemployment and disappointment, and employers to consider education, morality and professionalism as an indicator of the real available talent pool.

- Abstract:
- The study focuses on adapting successful metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of corporate coaching used in the United States to the countries of the CIS, taking into account cultural differences (Golvy, 2019; Whitmore, 2020). The novelty lies in identifying and adapting metrics that consider the specifics of cultural codes and social identity in CIS countries (Hofstede, Hofstede, Minkov, 2019; Trompenaars, Hampden-Turner, 2020). Metrics are viewed as tools for assessment and methods to deepen client work, enhance awareness of the process, improve its measurability, and foster professional growth for coaches (Tajfel, 1979; Burns, 1978). The study examines international experience in measuring coaching effectiveness, with a particular emphasis on adapting American approaches to the corporate environment using online platforms, as well as analyzing results (Bass, 1985; Seligman, 2011).

- In the chapter the author pays special attention to the development of interest among younger schoolchildren in studying historical facts in the context of the space of a modern school. As a problem, the author considers the volume of historical concepts offered in the course "The World around us", the lack of methodological resources in verbal teaching tools appropriate to the age and reading literacy of elementary school students. As a solution to this problem, the author suggests using a functional task technique that allows students to diversify their activities while learning about historical facts. The author's judgments are based on the views of scientists who will be of interest to the pedagogical community.

- Abstract:
- The chapter is devoted to the problems of forming the national identity of modern Russian youth, which is defined as an important condition for increasing the level of legal culture of society. There has been a tendency towards a decrease in the general level of culture, an increase in infantilism, and the presence of gaps in the moral consciousness of a significant part of young people. According to the authors, without overcoming these negative aspects it is impossible to build a truly legal state and form a civil society. As a condition for increasing the legal culture of modern Russian society, a system of state-patriotic education is proposed, designed to develop a sense of national pride and professional responsibility.
