    The article points to a large number of wars over the historical path of Russia. This fact contributed to the formation of the Russian national identity and its main component – patriotism. The directions in the approaches of the study of patriotism are revealed, as well as the views of scientists on the development of patriotism among cadets of military universities. Attention is focused on explaining the position of the state on the need to protect its interests not only on its territory, but also outside the Fatherland.

  • The question of the syntactic status of substantives in Russian identity sentences

    Abstract:
    A multi aspect study of bisubstantive sentences of characterizing semantics is necessary to solve complex problems of syntactic analysis. The grammatical specificity of bisubstantial sentences lies in the morphological identity of the predicative minimum. The study has theoretical and practical tasks: identify the structural, semantic and communicative organization of sentences, propose methodological recommendations for syntactic analysis of sentences. The material of the study is modern literature. Analytical and descriptive methods are used to analyze the linguistic material. The problems of teaching syntactic analysis of sentences are identified through experimental methods. The main conclusions of the study: syntactic analysis of bisubstantial sentences should consist of traditional structural and semantic parameters, roles and functions in the semantic structure and communicative organization of a sentence, take into account context, stylistic and pragmatic factors. Syntactic phenomena should be studied from the functional position at all stages and levels of teaching syntax of the modern Russian language.

    Abstract:
    The chapter provides an analysis of theoretical, methodological and practice-oriented studies of the problem field, actualizing the need to preserve cultural and historical memory and the formation of civic identity of young people in the territory of the Russian Federation and the newly annexed territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. The authors consider the axeological and regulatory foundations of civic and patriotic education in the modern socio-cultural space, identify the semantic field of the categories «cultural and historical memory» and «civic identity», present various mechanisms and factors influencing the formation of cultural and historical memory and civic identity. The material presents the cultural landscape of the newly annexed territories from a geographical point of view. Based on the analysis of the research, the authors identify educational technologies relevant for the purposes of civic and patriotic education, the main diagnostic tools for conducting pedagogical measurements of cultural and historical memory and civic identity of youth, and also provide an overview of educational practices of teachers on this issue.

  • “The song helps us to build and to live”: the role and functions of the ethnic song in Moscow Chuvash and Mari diasporic groups

    Abstract:
    The paper studies the role and functions of songs in an ethnic language in the life of representatives of the internal diaspora. The article is based on the results of sociolinguistic surveys conducted in Chuvash and Mari diasporas of the Moscow region in 2014–2017 and 2019–2021, respectively. The researcher employed the following sociolinguistic methods: direct observation, participant observation, structured interviews of respondents, documentary recording of responses, statistical data analysis. One of the blocks in the sociolinguistic questionnaire included such aspects as the language – in – culture and ethnic culture maintenance in the context of the vitality of ethnic language. Ethnic culture, along with the ethnic language, is one of the key markers of ethnic identity in both samples. As the results of the survey demonstrate, songs in Mari or Chuvash occupy a significant place in the respondents’ life. Several functions of the ethnic song were identified: adaptation to new living conditions; co-optation of new members (i. e., through cultural ethnic events); creative self-realization; language learning (i. e., ethnic songs used for educational purposes in language courses); initiation into language and culture for new speakers of Chuvash and Mari. The role of ethnic song in the revitalization of the language has been equally determined.

    The process of digitalization sets the dynamics of the rapid deanthropologization of the world. Today's culture is the dictate of data, the dominance of fictitious identities. In cyberspace, everything becomes digital, including memory: the article addresses the topic of endless possibilities for storing and preserving digital traces of Internet users, which give digital memory the effect of eternity and destroy the natural cognitive ability to forget. The reflection focuses on the transformations that have taken place in the virtual ecosystem over the past decades (social networks promoting openness and proximity; the transition to Web 4.0; the growing volume of generated data open for identification; the development of neural networks) and the philosophical problem of forgetting. Eternal memory in the digital space “deads” a person and makes time elastic, two-phase. In this vein, the phenomenon of the RTBF is seen as an attempt to resist unlimited, indiscriminate digital memory.

    Abstract:
    The purpose of the work is to theoretically substantiate the technologies for the formation of Russian identity among schoolchildren in an ethnocultural educational environment and formulate recommendations for their use. Based on the methods of theoretical analysis, as well as generalization of his own and advanced pedagogical experience, the author proposes some effective forms and means that contribute to the formation of Russian identity among schoolchildren in an ethno-cultural educational environment. The article emphasizes the connection between the concepts of «Russian identity» and «patriotism», provides a definition of the ethno-cultural educational environment, describes the various areas of work on the formation of the Russian identity of students in the course of educational and extracurricular activities, reveals the forms of organization of interethnic and intercultural communication participants in the educational process. The paper also considers the means of forming Russian identity in the lessons of literature, mathematics, fine arts, music, and technology. In the conclusions, the author characterizes the process of formation of Russian identity as the process of becoming a socially active person who is able to actively interact in a polyethnic and multicultural society, to carry out interethnic and intercultural communication and cooperation, and from this point of view assigns a special role to gaming technologies and highlights their social function, which consists in the development of social roles by schoolchildren, and, consequently, sociocultural norms, the ability to evaluate their social behavior in terms of the mastered rules of behavior in situations of interethnic and intercultural interaction.

  • About Modern Factors of Yakut Identity at the Turn of the XX–XXI Centuries

    Abstract:
    In the conditions of the historically established ethnic diversity in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the complex development of market relations and the strengthening of the role of the ethnic factor, the problems of ethno-social adaptation of the indigenous population arises. The purpose of the article is to study the structure of a person's self-identification and to research various forms of identity such as ethno-cultural, linguistic and ethnic. One of the main sources for studying the problems of ethnicity was both various statistical materials, data from an ethno-sociological survey, and field ethnographic materials obtained by the author of the article in the course of expeditionary and stationary work in the uluses of the republic over the last quarter of the XX century – the beginning of the XXI century. When writing the work, the author applied both methods of field research in order to collect initial material, as well as theoretical and methodological ones. The article concludes that if there is a problem with the functioning of the Yakut language and its loss by a part of the urban Yakut population, it does not lead to the loss of Yakut identity. On the contrary, partly the loss of their native language by people of Yakut nationality, as it turned out, leads to the strengthening of their ethno-cultural identity. The dynamic of the number of Yakuts shows that the ethnic factor plays an important role in the identification of a person. The results of the work confirm the thesis that ethnicity, compensating for the weakening of civic identity, becomes a defining stratifying category, acquiring the ethnopolitical rank. In general, despite the influence of various factors, the materials of ethno-sociological studies in Yakutia showed a high degree of manifestation of both ethnic and ethno-cultural identity, and partly linguistic.

    The article is devoted to the study of the issue of ethnic and civic identity of student youth, the education of a culture of interethnic relations in an educational institution. The article presents an analysis of the literature on the problem under consideration, considers state approaches to solving issues of ethnicity and citizenship. The relevance of the study is due to the reasons that require a timely response to the changes taking place in the modern multi-ethnic space. The multinationality of the Russian Federation, the ambiguity of historically established interethnic relations, the active development in the minds of modern youth of attitudes not only towards material, but also spiritual globalization, allow us to pay special attention to the process of forming ethnic and civic identity of the individual. The purpose of the article is to study the features of the formation of ethnic and civic identity and to identify their relationship in the student environment. The author cites the results of his own empirical studies of the general civic and ethnic identity of university students. The use of the methods of questioning, interviewing, observation and generalization of pedagogical experience helped the author in determining the main directions of ethno-cultural education of students. Ethnic identity is a necessary step in the formation of citizenship of student youth, it makes it easier and faster to interact with representatives of other ethnic groups, unites and helps to adapt to new cultural conditions.

The author analyzed the existing regulations, as well as empirical material related to the preservation of the traditional social institutions of these peoples. With the help of synthesis, the emerging problems of the safety of social systems are identified. The historical method made it possible to determine the origins of the surviving customs and traditions of nomadic peoples. The result is the development of recommendations for preserving the identity of the social ecosystem of the peoples of the North of the Russian Federation with the help of law.

  • Moscow Mari: Ethnic Culture in the Internal Diaspora

    The article deals with the problem of maintaining and preserving Mari ethnic culture in the conditions of an internal diaspora. The purpose of the article is to identify the conditions for maintaining and to determine the prospects for preserving Moscow Maris’ ethnic culture in Moscow’s multicultural urban space. Methods. In 2019–2021, the author of the article conducted a sociolinguistic survey in the Mari diaspora of the Moscow region; the selective sample includes 106 respondents (100 respondents belong to the first generation of the Mari diaspora, six to the second). One of the aspects of the survey was to study markers of ethnic identity in two generations of the diaspora. Results. The results, obtained in the interviews, reveal that Mari culture (knowledge and observance of Mari traditions and customs) is one of the key markers of ethnic identity in the first generation (coming only third after the small homeland and the Mari language markers). Respondents in the second generation demonstrate remnant knowledge of ethnic cultural practices due to a weak intergenerational transmission of the Mari language. The author concludes that in order to preserve ethnic traditions and customs in the diaspora, it is extremely important to maintain an ethnic language; at the same time, as the world practice of revitalizing minority languages shows, ethnic culture can be viewed as a source of initiation into an ethnic language, and later become a channel for its maintenance.

    The article examines the problems of the formation of ethnic self-awareness of university students in the process of teaching the discipline «Theory and methods of ethnocultural education». The relevance of the study is determined by the state policy that elevates culture to the rank of national priorities and recognizes it as the most important factor in the harmonization of public relations, the guarantor of the preservation of a single cultural space and territorial integrity. The purpose of the article is to consider the issues of content-methodological and educational plan in the formation and development of ethnic self-consciousness of students of higher educational institutions in the process of teaching the dissertation "Theory and methodology of ethno-cultural education". The analysis of normative-legal and legislative acts in the field of culture and education, observation, and the method of generalization of pedagogical experience allowed us to identify effective forms and means of ethno-cultural education of students. The data of a sociological survey conducted before and after studying the discipline "Theory and methodology of ethno-cultural education" among students of the training direction "Folk Art Culture" of the Chuvash State Institute of Culture and Arts are presented in the article. Based on the data obtained by such criteria as the level of formation of ethnonigilism, ethnic indifference, positive ethnic identity, ethno-egoism, ethno-isolationism, ethno-fanaticism, conclusions were drawn about the positive result of the study and recommendations were made for the development of ethnic self-knowledge of students in the course of studying the discipline "Theory and Methodology of ethno-cultural education".

    The article analyzes the problem of the formation of the moral and ethical foundations of modern Russian society. It is shown that family values, which are components of a person's moral foundations, determine the formation of his conscious citizenship. In its turn, it ensures the development of an active civil position, responsibility, patriotism, that, according to the author's model, are included in the components of the structure of a person's civil identity.     Аnnotation: the article presents the analysis of the problem of the formation of the civic identity of the individual and the civil consciousness of adolescents; it reveals the prospects for overcoming the difficulties associated with the formation of an active civil position, social responsibility, patriotism and sociocentric motivation. It is shown that student's age, following adolescence, remains a sensitive period for the formation of the «I-concept» of the personality, the formation of values of the highest order, such as honour, conscience, dignity, love for the motherland. It is in this period that the most significant is the definition of a life strategy based on the criticality of thinking, the ability to block the negative influences of society on the harmonious development of the personality and the full-fledged formation of a person as a citizen.

    The article is devoted to the most famous ancient sanctuary of the northern Selkups – Shaman Mountain Lozyl-lakka on Lozyl-to Lake. The purpose of the study is to combine the information available about it in the scientific literature and in the author's field archive and to find out what this object of the sacred landscape is. The research methods were description, semantic analysis and fieldwork. The result of the study was the conclusion that Lozyl-lakka is a family sanctuary, where sacrifices were made to the spirits-masters of the ancestral fishing grounds, on which the success of members of the clan in the trade "depended". The memory of the sanctuary has survived to this day due to its location in a remarkable natural place. It was also found that the sacred mountain serves as an indicator of the state of the modern ethnic identity of the Selkups. It is characterized by the preservation of faith in spirits and strict adherence to a number of traditions that this belief dictates, therefore, the process of transformation of traditional culture into new modern forms among the Selkups, which is ongoing among the northern peoples today, is hampered by the vitality of some elements of this very traditional culture. A separate comprehensive study of the Lozyl-Lakka sanctuary, including the standpoint of the attitude of modern Selkups, constitutes the scientific novelty of the study. The publication of summary data on the sanctuary preserves it as part of the cultural heritage for future generations of Selkups and replenishes the data bank of ethnographic science.

    Abstract:
    The article shows Sambo as a kind of national sport aimed at fostering moral qualities, Patriotic feelings and civic position. The Sambo training process is based on traditional national values that contribute to the physical development of the students ' personality, the formation of a culture of healthy lifestyle and readiness to defend the Fatherland. It is noted that active work on Patriotic education should be carried out during training, at competitions and in their free time from Sambo classes.

    Abstract:
    The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analytical review of various sources that reveal the role of music in Krasnoyarsk by the outbreak of the war. A hypothesis: interdependence of cultural and social events and their mutual influence during a period of increased social tension could be observed. Methods. During the study the following research methods were applied: cultural-historical, axiological, continuous sampling, descriptive methods and elements of statistical research. Materials published on the pages of the Krasnoyarsk periodicals for 1937–1941, as well as scientific works about music education and music culture by various outstanding scientists were used. Results. It was proved that music education by the outbreak of the war is considered a foundation for the realization of ideological and educational purposes. And it is also outlined that The Great Patriotic War set new challenges in the cultural life of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in general and Krasnoyarsk in particular. It is concluded that music education is considered a resource for the national solidarity building. Due to such a strong foundation, music education at the beginning of the war was able to fulfil an ideological function while concert musical activities were used as a tool for creating of civic identity.
