Constructive and destructive influence of stress on the psychophysiological state of a person: theoretical aspect
Annotation
This article examines stress as a universal mechanism of adaptation, its biological, psychological, and social determinants, and its short-term and long-term health consequences. Particular attention is paid to Selye's concept of the stress response, cognitive and behavioral models, and modern integrative approaches. The practical significance of this research lies in the development of strategies for increasing the body's resilience to stress.
