    Abstract:
    A scientific analysis on the problem of gifted children is presented, and both positive and negative age-psychological features of gifted primary school children are thoroughly characterized. Psychological and pedagogical support aimed at identifying and taking into account characteristics for a specific age, peculiarities of child’s intellectual and personal development is considered an effective method of pedagogical activity in the work with gifted children. A meaningful characteristic of psychological and pedagogical work with children in each problematic sphere is given. Among them: motivational, social, emotional, will and cognitive spheres.

    Abstract:
    A teacher working with gifted children should take into account the peculiarities of motivation of gifted students, strive to activate it and maintain it at the proper level in order to increase the effectiveness of professional activities. The article presents four types of gifted children, identified based on the level and type of motivation. The characteristic of behavioral features and specifics of educational activities of representatives of each type is given. Examples of psychological and pedagogical support that are most effective for each type are pointed out.

    Abstract:
    The experience of organizing work with gifted children in our country at the federal and regional levels – from targeted programs, educational centers to online portals of continuing education and charitable foundations of the All-Russian level is presented in the article. The goals, objectives and basic principles of the Sirius Educational Center are disclosed. The results of a survey of teachers and curators of Sirius about the features of working with gifted children are presented. A model of the organization of training personnel for work with gifted children is presented as a master's program in psychological and pedagogical direction, implemented at the Southern Federal University.

  • Social Success of the Teenager as a Psychology and Pedagogical Phenomenon

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to clarifying the content of the concept «social success of a teenager». The purpose of the study is to consider the social success of a teenager as a pedagogical phenomenon. During the study, the following methods were applied: theoretical analysis of scientific literature, generalization, synthesis, interpretation, summary. The content of the concepts «achievement» and «success» is analyzed. The structure of the teenager’s social success is revealed: axiological component (values of multiplying socially significant activity in behavior success strategies); epistemological component (a range of social and informational knowledge for successful self-realization in society); praxeological component (production of an adequately normative implementation of the uniqueness of ideas and achievements). The names of researchers considering the essence and content of the definition are given: V.K. Buinova, O.A. Vostrikova, E.V. Deeva, A. Zbutsky, L.N. Kazimirskaya, L.V. Kalinina, L.G. Pak. The psychological and pedagogical aspects of teenagers’ social success formation are revealed: the socializing aspect reveals a better development of social norms and traditions through the prism of success; the gnostic and integration aspect emphasizes the resulting integration of teenagers’ knowledge about society and man obtained from formal, informal and non-formal education; resource and psychological aspect allows you to reveal the personal energy of the mental experience of success and direct to the development of personality; socio-pedagogical aspect reinforces the presence of personalized support for teenagers in the prevention of their victimization in high-risk society; prognostic and acmeological aspect consists in designing trajectories of reaching the top of abilities implementation at each age stage; appraising and productive aspect highlights the effective functioning in society. As a result, the social success of the teenagers is considered as a personal quality, integrating systematic knowledge of the norms of society, an emotional-value attitude to success, focusing on productive social interaction, including new components (axiological, epistemological, praxeological) in the structure of teenagers’ social success in the information and virtual era as a pedagogical phenomenon.

    The article deals with the development of psychological knowledge in higher pedagogical education in Russia at the turn of the XIX–XX centuries. An explanation of the change in psychological knowledge is given, in connection with the historical fact of the definition of psychology as an independent science and its separation from the boundaries of philosophy during this period of time. Teaching institutions of Russia of the end of the XIX century are described, the content of education in them is explained, as well as the essence of higher pedagogical education of that time. The article also describes the higher pedagogical education of the beginning of the 20th century, in particular, the post-revolutionary period.     The monograph deals with issues relating to research on the socio-psychological characteristics and life prospects of the educator’s personality - concepts, history of development, methods and techniques. In order to fulfill functions and achieve good results in professional activities, an educator, possessing a set of socio-psychological features and important qualities in terms of professional, should plan his activities. The educator needs to build a future perspective and fruitfully realize his life path. According to the results of the research conducted within the framework of social psychology, the conclusion was made: the life perspective of educators is subjective and determined by the characteristics of their socio-psychological characteristics, their psychological well-being, level of resilience, specific content characteristics of the awareness of their inner world «I», of their past, present, and future. The theoretical significance of the work lies in the fact that the study presents a theoretical justification for the definition of the concepts of socio-psychological characteristics, life and time perspectives of the educator’s personality. Some features of these concepts are revealed. Practical significance is to be identified within the framework of those aspects of the problem being studied, which the authors will solve in perspective.
