    The article examines the issues of socio-economic development of the region using the Republic of Mordovia as an example. External shocks that Mordovia faced had a significant impact on the dynamics and results of socio-economic development of the region. The study involved statistical data from the territorial body of Rosstat for the Republic of Mordovia, data from various ratings of Russian regions, and materials from the authorities of the Republic of Mordovia, which made it possible to identify the following most pressing problems of regional development: low rates of economic growth, small volume of industrial production, shortage of investment resources of the workforce, unfavorable demographic situation, low standard of living.

    Abstract:
    The study focuses on adapting successful metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of corporate coaching used in the United States to the countries of the CIS, taking into account cultural differences (Golvy, 2019; Whitmore, 2020). The novelty lies in identifying and adapting metrics that consider the specifics of cultural codes and social identity in CIS countries (Hofstede, Hofstede, Minkov, 2019; Trompenaars, Hampden-Turner, 2020). Metrics are viewed as tools for assessment and methods to deepen client work, enhance awareness of the process, improve its measurability, and foster professional growth for coaches (Tajfel, 1979; Burns, 1978). The study examines international experience in measuring coaching effectiveness, with a particular emphasis on adapting American approaches to the corporate environment using online platforms, as well as analyzing results (Bass, 1985; Seligman, 2011).

    The article addresses the issue of qualimetric analysis of professional self-determination among students within the context of basic general education. Based on theoretical and empirical research methods conducted at MBOU Secondary School No. 4 in Poltavskaya village, Krasnoarmeysky District, Krasnodar Krai, the study presents the results of diagnostics assessing the readiness of 9th-grade students for professional self-determination. The activities of the educational institution related to vocational guidance are analyzed, factors influencing the process of professional self-determination are identified, and a series of recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of this process are proposed. The article also emphasizes the importance of interaction between the school, parents, and social partners in implementing vocational guidance activities.     The modern system of journalistic education assumes a focus on rapid adaptation in the professional activities of future journalists with the formation of a number of competencies that allow a specialist in the field of media activity to respond to major challenges. This provision actualizes the need for new approaches to the formation of professional qualities of a future journalist. They should determine the trajectories of development and self-development of creative and professional potential, professional mobility and competitiveness of future journalists. Based on the monitoring of the main bachelor's, master's and postgraduate educational programs for 2004–2024, implemented at Kazan Federal University, the author identifies the main patterns of the educational process and the degree of application of socially significant activities in the concept of education of future journalists. Within the framework of a systematic approach and taking into account the fact that journalistic activity as socially oriented includes varieties of socially significant activities, is an organizational property of a personality reflecting its unity, the grounds for its application as the main subject of educational activity of future journalists in the format of projective activity were determined. This technology is provided by a system-targeted approach to the projective activity of students and their prosocial activity / media activity, which makes it possible to identify in this technology a variety of composition; hierarchical structure; versatility and identify the principles of its organization: diversity; hierarchy; integrity; communication; dynamic development. The future journalist's projective activity in solving socially significant problems is based on integrativity, normativity, value orientation, and creativity in the implementation of two main pedagogical conditions: the development of the axiological potential of the future journalist's personality and the actualization of the student's subjective position.

    Abstract:
    Economic development inevitably leads to a significant increase in inequality in the distribution of income and national wealth. Worryingly, inequality is growing year after year. Official data on inequality are underestimated, as the share of income hidden from taxation is at least twice as much as that shown in official statistics. The sharp increase in inequality was largely due to the transition to neoliberal policies that encouraged the monopolization of production to the detriment of wage labor positions and, to some extent, the participation of nation States in the global globalization of the economy. High income inequality will slow down any national modernization and generate further stratification of citizens. The proportion of excessive inequality between 10–20 percent of the rich and 80 percent of the poor and poor in the modern world is constantly growing.

    Abstract:
    The work is devoted to the study of the process of ethnocultural socialization of students. A modern university is a multicultural educational environment in which, due to the use of its cultural and social potential, effective socialization is possible – a process of conflict-free entry of an individual with ethnocultural characteristics, values and behavior patterns of his people, into a multicultural society. The purpose of the article is to present the results of the ascertaining stage of the experiment on ethnocultural socialization of students in the multicultural educational environment of the university. In the course of the work, environmental, axiological, ethnocultural approaches were used. It was revealed that in student groups before the experiment, the majority of respondents were not familiar with the national culture of other peoples. Moreover, some respondents showed reluctance to get acquainted with a foreign-language culture. Based on the methods of observation, survey and questionnaires, conclusions were made that before the main work on ethnocultural socialization of students, the efforts of teachers should be focused on the formation of motivation to get acquainted with the cultural traditions of different peoples. This work is necessary to ensure the validity of further research in the event that the groups initially differ in the degree of motivation. It is argued that the formation of motivation is facilitated by the implementation of such conditions as the focus of the educational process of the university on the knowledge of ethnocultural traditions, customs of different peoples; reliance in the education of students on national traditions, culture and customs based on elements of ethnocultural reconstruction; the organization of interpersonal communication of students of different nationalities based on the principle of ethnocultural self-presentation.

    This topic is relevant, due to the consideration of the problems of professional socialization in the scientific pedagogical literature separately, in this study the author considers them integrated and in general. Research problem: what are the essence and functions of pedagogical support for vocational and labour socialization of pupils of an educational organization on the example of students of a technical college, what are the content of the system of pedagogical support and the conditions for the effective organization of the provided pedagogical support? Research methods: theoretical: literature analysis, data synthesis; empirical: conversation, testing. The reliability of the research results is due to the choice of research methods and experimental base adequate to the tasks set, the careful development and justification of experimental designs, the representativeness of the experimental sample, the variety of collected experimental facts, and their number. The experiment showed the high efficiency of applying the personal-situational approach in the educational process with the developed process of vocational and labour socialization of students. The results of the experiment allow us to conclude that it is advisable to organize this process in educational organizations.

    The outbreak of COVID-19, which began in December 2019, was declared an emergency in the field of public health of international importance by the World Health Organization on January 30, 2020, and a pandemic on March 11. The coronavirus epidemic has become one of the main threats to the global economy and financial markets. A paradoxical situation has developed in many countries: Governments needed to stop the spread of a new global disease, but restrictions on movement, quarantine, suspension of activities in many enterprises, as well as the transition to remote work from home have severely shaken the economic condition of these countries. Understanding all the negative consequences of the coronavirus, the state has taken certain steps to mitigate the effects of the pandemic and to restore the economy. In this article, we will look at the problems that COVID-19 has led to, as well as specific measures to support the state in the economic, social and health spheres.

    The article is devoted to the problem of studying the psychological health of adults. A review of the main works revealing approaches to understanding psychological health as a phenomenon is carried out, a number of scientific papers illustrating the characteristic features of psychological health of persons in different fields and types of activity (students, teachers, medical and social workers, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, etc.) are analyzed. The current shortage of knowledge in science regarding psychological health of people who regularly practice dancing. The article also presents the results of a study that describes the peculiarities of the psychological health of people (average age 48 years) who regularly attend dance classes (folk, ballroom, dance vibroplasty).
