Defiant advertising, or How advertisers attract the attention of young people to fast food products through outrage
Book ChapterVectors of socio-economic development in Russia. Modern challenges and opportunities- Authors:
- Svetlana A. Goriunova, Irina V. Mkrtumova
- Work direction:
- Глава 12
- Abstract:
- Due to a noticeable decline in demand for advertising products, a decrease in sales and loss of profit in cafes and fast food restaurants, managers of some companies are forced to resort to extravagant ways of working with customers – involving epatage elements. The authors note that, to a greater extent, epathetic advertising causes negative emotions and makes a negative impression on older people, while in young people it evokes amazement, arouses interest, brings out laughter and the desire to buy fast food products precisely because of the original approach to their positioning. Based on the concepts of social field of P. Bourdieu, functional theory of R. Merton and others, the article outlines the features and peculiarities of difference between epatage and other attraction methods and techniques of influence on young people. Examples of socially significant epatage advertising, epatage in advertising products of catering restaurants Carl's Jr, Burger King, cafe ‘Shhelkunchik’ are given in this chapter. Understanding the impact of epathetic advertising, marketers also consider the possible consequences for brand reputation, including negative feedback and criticism. A strategy of ubiquitous social media presence not only maximizes audience reach, but also helps shape the consumer habits of young people. In conclusion, the authors emphasize that epathetic food advertising cannot bypass ethics, principles and postulates of morality.

Based on the characteristics of the three components of social ideas, it was concluded that there are a number of contradictions in ideas, the most significant of which are the contradictions between a positive assessment of the result of prosocial activity and negativism towards the self-realization of the individual in it. Some obstacles to increasing prosocial activity and the potential that teachers and psychologists can rely on have been identified. It is proposed to pay attention to prosocial cooperation as a phenomenon that combines the value and semantic features of prosocial activity.

Book ChapterDirections for educational development in the Year of the Teacher and Tutor- Author:
- Sergey V. Zinin
- Work direction:
- Глава 14
- Abstract:
- The chapter is devoted to determining the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in students with the consequences of early organic damage to the central nervous system. The increased interest in this disease is due to a number of circumstances. Firstly, hypoxia of the brain in IDA affects the cognitive abilities of minors. Secondly, this disease in children with intellectual disabilities provokes diseases of the cardiovascular system in 62.5%, visual impairment in 31.2%, and pathology of the urinary system in 38.7%. Research methods. For the presence or absence of iron deficiency anemia, in the period from 2015 to 2023, medical documents of 653 students from different nosological groups associated with cognitive impairment were examined. The study made it possible to draw the following conclusions: the prevalence of IDA in children with F80 (expressive speech disorder) is 20%, with F83 (mixed specific disorders of psychological development) – 31%, with F70 (mild mental retardation) – 52%, with F71 (moderate mental retardation) – 33%. The total number of minors with a history of iron deficiency anemia is high. More than 40% of all students and pupils with disabilities (HIA) who study according to adapted programs due to intellectual and speech disorders may need social dispatching assistance from specialists of PMPC and school councils. The results of the study may be of interest to a wide range of medical and pedagogical specialists. Doctors are asked a problematic question about why, with moderate mental retardation and more pronounced (significant) cognitive impairments, the prevalence of IDA is significantly lower compared to mild mental retardation. Using specific clinical examples, teachers are described various algorithms of social dispatching assistance to families to prevent possible secondary violations in minors.

- Abstract:
- The chapter provides a comparative description of the concepts of economic growth and economic justice, and proposes indicators that characterize them. A forecast of the dynamics of economic development indicators was constructed using the extrapolation method until 2027, which gave a steady downward trend in growth. To prevent negative trends in economic development, measures of government influence on the economy are proposed, which should be carried out in three stages: determining the goals of economic development; analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of socio-economic relations within the country, as well as threats and opportunities from foreign counterparties; implementation of existing advantages into active moves and the formation of new ones. It is concluded that the successful socio-economic development of Russia should lead it to the establishment of social justice. An analysis of various approaches to the definition of the concept of «social justice» is made.

- Проблемы социализации и профессионального становления личности
- Abstract:
- The subject of the study is personal autonomy as an indicator of the moral maturity of the individual. It is concluded that there are serious problems in this regard. The underdevelopment of the personal principle makes a person not free, inhibits his creative potential, and an independent life can break an immature personality, in particular, prevent a university graduate from adapting to the labor market. The barriers to self-development of the individual and gaining autonomy of the individual are the pluralization of identity, involvement in the system of rigid social dependencies, the tradition of paternalism, insufficient enculturation and corresponding infantilism, and the increasing virtualization of the individual in the information society.

Social autonomy in the Tuvan ethnic group (experimental approach of social assessment of small communities)
Research ArticleEthnic Culture Volume 5 No 2- Author:
- Vera A. Gnevasheva
- Work direction:
- Ethnography, Ethnology and Anthropology
- Abstract:
- In the work on the Tuvan material, the problem of loneliness is considered. The purpose of the study is to identify the social aspects of social autonomy. The study sets the task of determining the social prerequisites for social autonomy in the context of the role of the family as a small social group and its social function in the formation of the social inclusion of the individual with the subsequent formation of their own social relationships, family guidelines and family constructs. The research task is to determine the specifics, degree and nature of the manifestation of social autonomy in the context of the Tuvan ethnos as an example of a national community that has its own social history, specific traditional values, special national cults of the family, children, specific understanding of the social roles of family members. As a result of the data obtained, statistical estimates were made of the dependence of the main variables that contribute to loneliness or vice versa – reduce its risks. When studying the correlation estimates of the causes of loneliness in the choice of respondents and their answers to the question about the closest social circle, it can be seen that in the absence of their own family, respondents often see the causes of loneliness in the absence of a favorite thing or in the person himself, while the presence of a family forms for the respondents the sphere of employment and encourages them to be as involved as possible in the issues of family and children, thereby leveling all possible causes of feeling of loneliness. The study allows us to draw a conclusion about the importance of one's own family and children in the Tuvan ethnic group. The presence of a generic, cultural, historical understanding of the family, children in the lives of the respondents reflects the social orientation and social focus on the presence of this particular social field as defining for the majority of the respondents.

- Work direction:
- Глава 9
- Abstract:
- In the chapter, based on the works of Z. Freud and J. Lacan, reveals the impact of psychoanalytic theory on the formation of the concepts of «symbolic capital» and «habitus» by Pierre Bourdieu. Sociology does not pretend to replace psychoanalysis with its mode of explanation; it is only a question of constructing certain data differently, which psychoanalysis also takes as its object. Sociology and psychoanalysis act as different, complementary approaches to the same thing, the latter as internal to the former. Psychoanalysis offers a richer set of concepts for analyzing the idiosyncratic meaning that different people attach to general social conditions. Sociology and psychology must join forces, but this will require them to overcome their mutual suspicion, to analyze the genesis of investment in the field of social relations, constituted as an object of investment and concern, as a principle of investment in the social game. Bourdieu's ideas, including the concepts of habitus and symbolic capital, in the course of their further interpenetration with psychoanalytic theories, will open new horizons for understanding social reality.
