    In the modern educational process, a significant role should be given to psychological and pedagogical support for gifted children, because in the school environment, their self-esteem often becomes inadequate. Creating a psychologically safe environment, pedagogical conditions, and the correct relationship between teachers and pupils is the task of the school team to maintain normal self-esteem of gifted pupils. The problem is particularly evident in primary school age when moving to a new social environment, so the work of teachers and psychologists at this age stage should be particularly detailed.

    The article is devoted to the issue of possible prospects for personality development of gifted children. The author’s approach is based on the results of research made by American psychologist L. Terman. Analyzing the subject, the author pays special attention to acceleration in personality development of the gifted children as one the educational strategies. The author is also touching upon the issue of establishing a special school for gifted children. The general conclusion made in the article is that various manifestations of giftedness and a child’s advances in various fields at an early age regretfully cannot guarantee success in his future path of self-realization.

    The Belarusian work experience of the teaching staff with gifted children is presented in the article. This teaching staff was led by the author of the article in the 1990s. Research in the field of psychology shows that children with high educational abilities make up 15–20%. They are distinguished by tireless curiosity, the desire to constantly load themselves with cognitive and search tasks, etc. The target function of the national education system of Belarus is to create conditions for the development of talents, personal abilities and their use for the benefit of society and themselves.

The goals, objectives and basic principles of the Sirius Educational Center are disclosed. The results of a survey of teachers and curators of Sirius about the features of working with gifted children are presented.     The article is devoted to the relevance of socio-cultural practices. The purpose of the study is to consider socio-cultural practices as a means of forming the social success of adolescents. Methods were used: theoretical analysis of scientific literature, generalization, synthesis, interpretation, and summary. As a result, the concept of socio-cultural practices as a type of independent activity is clarified in the unique intersection of perspective and current interests of a growing individual who acquires his life experience for successful socialization. The value of a variety of socio-cultural practices is revealed from the point of view of understanding the semantic, transformative, and integration capabilities of the children's international center as the optimal base for the formation of social success of adolescents. The role of competent tutoring in the support of socio-cultural practices in the framework of the "Good school" project is revealed.

  • Dysgraphia Manifestations Peculiarities in Elementary Bilingual Schoolchildren

    The presented article is devoted to the problem of writing disorders in elementary bilingual schoolchildren in the Russian-language learning environment. The aim of the study is to identify the dysgraphia manifestations peculiarities in elementary bilingual schoolchildren. The concepts of «dysgraphia», «bilingualism», and «transfer» are clarified in the article. Particular attention is paid to the transfer of the native language in the process of learning the Russian language as a second language. Analysis of the study results showed that 100% of children have both spelling and dysgraphic errors. When testing the ability to write at dictation, children made various types of dysgraphic errors. Methods. A comparative analysis of linguistic differences at the phonetic and grammatical levels is given on the examples of Khakass, Azerbaijani and Russian speech. As part of the study, a methodology was conducted for examining written speech among bilingual schoolchildren of Khakass and Azerbaijan nationalities studying in Russian in the 2nd grade of the city of Abakan. Result. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the data showed the presence of specific writing errors of all types of dysgraphia in this category of children. The applicable scope of results. The materials of the article can be used by speech therapists and teachers in the analysis and classification of the identified violations of written speech in elementary bilingual schoolchildren. The authors come to the conclusion that it is necessary to develop more effective scientifically-based methodological system for teaching Russian as a second language.

    The teacher is a significant figure in the formation and development of the student's personality. In this regard, the task of preparing a primary school teacher of a new type is relevant. This article discusses such a topic of educational development in the Russian Federation as conditions for increasing the professional competence of an elementary school teacher. The urgency of the problem is caused by the strengthening of the requirements in all spheres of labor activity for professional training in the conditions of a market economy.
