Between shame and autonomy: two faces of adolescent vulnerability in the educational environment
Book Chapter
Theoretical and practical aspects of pedagogy and psychology- Author:
- Alla I. Matveeva
- Work direction:
- Педагогика
- Abstract:
- The chapter is devoted to constructing a differentiated analytical model of age-related vulnerability in adolescents within the educational environment for two ontogenetically distinct cohorts: ages 10–13 and 14–18. The author proceeds from the position that a unified interpretation of adolescence is methodologically untenable, since identical behavioral manifestations (irritability, withdrawal, conflict behavior, declining academic performance) may be generated by fundamentally different psychological mechanisms and therefore require differentiated diagnostics. For early adolescence, the concept of «three pillars of stability» is proposed: self-perceived competence, self-regulation, and social status within the peer group, the weakening of which explains typical forms of school maladaptation. For late adolescence, the leading challenge is considered to be the existential task of identity and autonomy formation, intensified by the digital environment of social comparison and cyberbullying. Based on the analysis of Russian and international empirical data (WHO, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, HSE University, VCIOM), a three-level «risk map» of the educational environment has been operationalized, encompassing structural, social, and personal-psychological levels. Current diagnostic practice is also described (ongoing observation, annual screening, in-depth diagnostics), along with the «school ambassador» institution as a mechanism for early identification and referral of adolescents at psychological risk. The study shows that the structural level of the school environment plays a foundational role: the concentration of up to 70% of bullying cases within a limited circle of educational institutions points to the institutional, rather than purely individual-psychological, nature of most risks. The proposed model provides a basis for schools to shift from reactive intervention toward systematic, age-differentiated prevention.

- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical research on the relationship between the structural components of self-concept and communication characteristics in adolescence. The relevance of the study is due to the need for in-depth investigation of the mechanisms of self-awareness formation in the context of modern digital socialization and the transformation of traditional educational institutions. The theoretical analysis includes a review of the main psychological approaches to understanding self-concept (humanistic, cognitive, social-constructivist paradigms), consideration of its structural components (cognitive, affective, and behavioral), as well as psychological characteristics of adolescence and the specifics of the communicative sphere during this period. The empirical study was conducted on a sample of 60 adolescents aged 11–16 years using a set of psychodiagnostic techniques: the Self-Attitude Questionnaire (OSO) by V.V. Stolin and S.R. PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT FOR THE PROCESS OF ACQUISITION OF FAMILY VALUES BY ORPHANS
Conference Paper
Socio-Pedagogical Issues of Education and Upbringing- Authors:
- Tatiana A. Aprelova, Aleksei K. Osin
- Work direction:
- Социальные процессы и образование
- Abstract:
- This article examines the development and assimilation of family values in orphans and children left without parental care. It highlights the specific socialization challenges faced by this category of children: the lack of experience in a healthy biological family leads to a distorted perception of marital and parental roles, as well as a psychological unpreparedness for starting their own families in the future. It substantiates the need for targeted pedagogical support as a system of professional activities for educators, social workers, and psychologists. The key objectives of this support are explored. It is emphasized that only a comprehensive pedagogical approach can offset the deprivation of orphanhood and prepare adolescents for successful independent living and the creation of their own harmonious families.

- Abstract:
- This article presents the results of an empirical study aimed at identifying the competitiveness profiles of young employees. Using a sample of 102 respondents (aged 18–35, working in consulting services), the author's Professional Competitiveness Questionnaire (PCQ) and cluster analysis (k-means) identified three consistent profiles: high (46.1% of the sample), situational (34.3%), and low (19.6%). The profiles differ in the degree of self-efficacy, proactive work behavior, and adaptive professional competence. Differentiated pedagogical support strategies are substantiated for each profile: from supportive mentoring and reflective practices (low profile) to facilitation and inclusion in the talent pool (high profile). The results can be used in designing personalized professional development programs in continuing professional education and HR practices.

Resistance as an attribute of subjectivity of students in the conditions of vocational education: a theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical approaches
Book Chapter
Modern issues of pedagogy and psychology: theoretical and methodological approaches and practical re-search results- Author:
- Elena V. Bragina
- Work direction:
- Глава 2
- Abstract:
- The chapter presents a theoretical analysis of the concept of resistance in the context of adult learning and its connection to manifestations of subjectivity. Scientific approaches to understanding the nature of resistance have been systematized. The evolution of interpretations of resistance – from classical psychological theories to modern cognitive, motivational, and pedagogical concepts-has been traced. It is shown that resistance may function both as a barrier to learning and as an expression of autonomy, the striving to construct personal meanings of learning, and the preservation of the learner’s identity. The study proposes a conceptualization of resistance as a significant attribute of the manifestation of learner subjectivity in the context of continuing professional education. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of applying its findings and conclusions to the design of continuing professional education programs and courses, as well as to the organization of psychological and pedagogical support for adult learners within the university educational process.

- Abstract:
- The article substantiates the concept of a supportive environment for organizational change, the core of which is coaching practices — individual and team formats. The results of an empirical study of the socio-psychological factors of successful change in a sample of 400 employees of Russian organizations are presented. It was found that trust in the leader of change is a stable predictor of employees' positive personal attitude to change in all eight consistently constructed regression models. Coaching support is described as a systemic tool that forms a trusting culture of the organization, removes communication barriers, reduces the risk of cognitive distortions and ensures the organic involvement of staff in the preparation and implementation of changes. The conclusions are based on the data of the conducted research, international meta-analyses of coaching effectiveness and the work of Russian authors in the field of coaching psychology.

Pedagogy and psychology as sciences of building the potential of modern society- Author:
- Aleksandr I. Kugai
- Work direction:
- Глава 6
- Abstract:
- This chapter examines the pressing issue of teacher burnout in the context of 2026, characterized by rapid technological change and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the educational process. The relevance of this work stems from the growing contradiction between the requirements for teachers' digital competencies and their psycho-emotional stability. The aim of the chapter is to develop and theoretically substantiate a comprehensive model of psychological support adapted to working in an uncertain environment. The results of the study show that the implementation of predictive diagnostic tools and digital psychological monitoring services can reduce the risk of developing the «resistance» phase of burnout by 25–30%. The practical significance of this work lies in the feasibility of implementing the proposed models in the activities of psychological support services at educational institutions in accordance with the current legislation on psychological assistance from 2026.

- Abstract:
- The chapter is devoted to a comprehensive study of the legal nature of a state contract for the provision of medical services in the public procurement system, which is a unique legal phenomenon with a dual nature. The article argues that a state contract for the provision of medical services occupies a borderline position at the intersection of several branches of law: administrative law, which regulates the procedure for concluding a contract, civil law, which defines the content of contractual obligations, medical law, which establishes special requirements for subjects and standards of medical care quality, and budgetary law, which regulates the financial basis for the execution of a contract. The article examines in detail the public law elements of the contract, which manifest themselves at the stage of its conclusion through the mandatory provisions of Federal Law No. 44-FZ. The article analyzes the special role of medical law through the establishment of mandatory requirements for licensing, material and technical base, and personnel qualifications.
