    Modern society has special requirements for the methodological support of the learning process in higher education. At the same time, the efficiency of the methods and the applied training tools should be deeply studied. The Crossword game, which is used to consolidate students' knowledge of the conceptual knowledge within the framework of theoretical disciplines, allows combining high-quality training and testing of theoretical knowledge of the academic discipline, as well as being an exciting event in almost any academic discipline. The results of a study conducted in 2 stages: a pre-game survey of students about their expectations and a survey of the results of the Crossword game, showed that this methodological development exceeded students' expectations and improved the efficiency of mastering the theoretical material of the discipline by almost one third.

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to foreign language education which is more effective if a student becomes the subject of his own learning process. Modern information and communication technologies (ICT) contain an enormous potential for increasing the share of independent work in the educational process. ICT is everything that helps and allows you to collect, process, store and transmit information in an electronic form. Today, the traditional carrier of the electronic information is increasingly being superseded by cloud services, allowing you to create a virtual workspace. The purpose of the research is to study the educational potential of the modern Internet space, review the main educational online resources on the Internet in English, which can be used, both for teaching and self-learning a foreign language. In the process of the research, both empirical research methods (studying various sources of information, including the Internet, observation, interviews) and theoretical ones (analysis, synthesis, classification of the information received, the descriptive method) were used. The result of our study is a review of the main online services that can be used in a foreign language education. Digital tools for the formation of language skills (lexical, grammatical, pronunciation) and the development of speech skills in all types of speech activity (listening, speaking, reading, writing) are considered. It is concluded that in the modern Internet space there are huge educational resources in English for teachers and students that allow them to promote foreign language education. These resources are an important tool in the educational process and allow you to increase the level of students’ independence.

    The study focuses on ongoing global processes in the field of education, described in a number of national projects, programs, standards, and recommendations. Subject to discussion are the issues (“Digital transformation as an object of research”, “Education in the world of digital technologies”, “Digital didactics”), which are raised in current research and affect the improvement of methodological systems in the university. Attention is drawn to the methodological system for the development of information-related competence of university students, its components and implementation conditions in the era of digital transformation. The approaches to its improvement are investigated. The leading research methods are: analysis of the fundamental provisions of national projects, programs, standards, and recommendations on the relevance of the process of developing information-related competence of university students; analysis of current research in the area of digital transformation in education; integration of the conceptual propositions of contemporary Russian scientists concerning the improvement of methodological systems at the university; integration of pedagogical experience in researching the process of developing information-related competence in future teacher students. The author points out that the need to obtain information from the outside world is one of the biological needs of man. The information environment is becoming the main habitat of modern man, spreading to all areas, including the educational one. The author wonders how digital educational technologies influence the formation of critical thinking, mental performance, the ability to be at ease with a lot of information and choose the right one from it? The author comes to the conclusion emphasizing that providing new opportunities for mastering knowledge, information society technologies often have a negative impact on the formation of consciousness and thinking of the younger generation and at the same time the impact of digital technology can lead to a change in the «cognitive portrait» of mankind, stimulating the development of emotional intelligence.

    Abstract:
    The article presents a comparative analysis of the nature and content of the concepts of risk and business reputation of the organization. The factors that may affect the process of digitalization of the economy in Russia are identified. The relationship between digitalization of the economy and the business reputation of industrial companies is defined. The refined definition of risk suggests considering risk as an economic phenomenon, which is an integral element of all socio-economic processes that occur in the organization, and is able to lead the system out of balance and, consequently, either improve its performance, or lead to undesirable losses, or destroy. The complete concept of business reputation is that it defines it as a stable representation in the minds of contractors of the organization (consumers, government agencies, suppliers, commercial banks) about the good faith of the fulfillment of its obligations, a high level of quality of the products of the efficiency of the implementation of business contracts. The interrelation between increase in business reputation and growth of competitiveness of the industrial organizations is shown. The quantitative index for assessing the level of goodwill by the dynamics of the revealed violations of the organizations in the industry is proposed. The dynamics of this indicator of industrial organizations of the Russian Federation in 2011–2017 is investigated. Such directions of reducing the risk of business reputation of the industrial organization of the Russian Federation as the development of tools for motivating personnel, the intensification of the use of professional psychological assistance for employees and management of industrial companies, the movement of their business reputation in social networks, the improvement of PR-companies of industrial enterprises, the development of self-regulatory organizations of the industry and the intensification of their activities in the management of the process of ensuring business reputation are revealed. The necessity of formation of independent qualified ratings of business reputation of domestic industrial companies formed in the context of sub-sectors of a particular sector of the economy and regions of the Russian Federation is shown.

It is shown that the development of education is inherently associated with the introduction of computer technologies in the educational process that expand the boundaries of cognitive activity of students. However, despite the presence of positive aspects, there are a number of problems related to the use of technical means, and requiring their solution. The main attention in the work is accentuated by the fact that the development of science in the field of high technologies has a huge influence on the development of education. In this regard, views are expressed on the search for new approaches to teaching in the modern digital society.
