    Abstract:
    The child’s psyche is a fundamental element of the child’s overall health, deter-mining the success of their adaptation to changing environmental conditions, cognitive activity, emotional regulation, and social interaction. However, its key features include increased vulnerability to external and internal stress factors, as well as a tendency to rapid exhaustion in the absence of timely prevention and support. In the context of the modern world, characterized by high information and academic loads, the widespread use of digital technologies, and a decline in the share of free, spontaneous activity, the issue of preserving children’s mental health is becoming particularly acute. In this regard, the search for accessible, economically unburdensome, and at the same time highly effective methods aimed at comprehensive work with the child becomes particularly relevant. The priority tasks are: a set of musical activities aimed at strengthening the adaptive mechanisms not only of the child’s physical but also of their mental well-being.

    The article examines a methodology for enhancing learning through project‑based learning. The concept of project‑based learning is defined, and its importance for improving the quality of training for cadets at higher military educational institutions is highlighted. A model for implementing this methodology in other disciplines of the educational process is proposed.

  • AI Chatbots as a Non-Standard Method of Learning English

    Abstract:
    The article examines the use of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots as an additional tool for learning English by students. The relevance of the topic is due to the spread of generative AI and the availability of dialogue systems. The purpose of the work is to determine the possibilities of using AI chatbots in independent language practice and to evaluate the advantages and limitations of this approach. The analysis and generalization of scientific literature, including systematic reviews, were used. It is shown that chatbots allow conducting a dialogue in English, receiving feedback, creating exercises adapted to the learner's level, and reduce anxiety when speaking. Risks are highlighted: inaccuracy of answers, lack of live communication, reliance on ready-made answers, and data protection. It is concluded that AI chatbots complement but do not replace the teacher.

    The article is devoted to studying the practical significance of competitive exercises in the “power extreme” sport within the system of physical training for employees of Russia’s law enforcement and security agencies. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to find effective means and methods for developing professionally important physical qualities in employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Penitentiary Service, and military personnel. The key competitive disciplines of power extreme are examined from the perspective of their impact on the development of strength, strength endurance, speed‑strength qualities, and coordination. Data from scientific studies are presented, confirming the effectiveness of integrating elements of power extreme into the training process for cadets and employees of law enforcement and security agencies.     Abstract:
    The article presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of didactic difficulties faced by students in psychology and pedagogy classes. The relevance of the study is determined by the need for early diagnosis and prevention of learning barriers among schoolchildren who have made a conscious choice of a teaching profession at the pre university stage. Based on a theoretical review and empirical data (questionnaires, pedagogical observation, analysis of learning products), a multicomponent structure of difficulties experienced by high school students has been identified. It has been established that these difficulties are systemic in nature and are обусловлены by three key factors: cognitive, metasubject, and psychological. It has been proven that the existing teaching format in specialized classes is often focused on the reproductive acquisition of knowledge, which contradicts the requirements for a future teacher as a subject of creative and research activities.

    Abstract:
    The article compares Western and domestic theories of teacher interaction. The relevance is due to the lack of a unified terminology (collective, team, cooperation, learning community, joint professional learning). The methodology includes comparative analysis, systematization, generalization, and historical‑pedagogical reconstruction. It is shown that foreign approaches emphasize process‑psychological aspects (interaction, distributed leadership, team roles, psychological safety), while domestic approaches focus on collective‑educational properties, the management environment, and humanism. A shift from a structural to a qualitative understanding has been identified. The following problems have been identified: de‑privatization of activities, trust as social capital, decentralized management, and the informatization of communication. The need for a comprehensive theory of the development of interprofessional relations in the modern school has been substantiated.

    Abstract:
    The article presents the theoretical and methodological foundations for creating a psychologically safe educational environment to ensure effective cooperation among teachers of specialized classes. The necessity of psychological safety is proven as a mechanism for transforming formal communication into real cooperation with its attributes: unity of goals, mutual dependence, and collective responsibility. The risks of formal interaction are identified: pressure and the “privatization” of experience. Based on the materials of current foreign and Russian theories, the formation of safety conditions is examined. The specific features of the psychological and pedagogical context are considered separately: the function of career guidance and identification through the interaction of teachers. The vectors for building a safe educational space are presented: the formation of a reflective culture, the deprivatization of activities, and differentiated leadership.

    The chapter examines the mechanism for generating multifunctional educational outcomes in the context of a cross‑multidimensional educational process. It is substantiated that the intersection, interaction, and integration of spaces and environments are not merely an organizational condition but a key mechanism ensuring the achievement of a set of educational outcomes that go beyond academic performance. The typology of interaction between spaces and environments is revealed: integration, intersection, autonomy, and conflict. Five mechanisms that ensure a synergistic effect are analysed: mutual penetration, change of dominant factors, information and social impact, hybridization, and design of multiple scenarios. The connection between these mechanisms and the development of cross‑cutting competencies and multifunctional outcomes is demonstrated. Examples from educational practice are provided. The materials are intended for researchers, heads of educational organizations, and teachers interested in designing a cross‑multidimensional educational environment.

    The chapter substantiates the need for additional professional education for teachers of the «Fundamentals of religious cultures and secular ethics» (ORKSE) course through professional development programs. Drawing on years of experience providing methodological support for the subject's introduction and implementation in the Russian Federation (piloted since 2010), the study identifies persistent professional gaps among teachers: a lack of knowledge regarding the developmental characteristics of fourth-graders, limited command of practical teaching tools, and a need to rethink the content of initial teacher training. The article explores the link between the developmental characteristics of primary school-age children and the teaching methodology for ORKSE. It demonstrates the effectiveness of district-level professional development courses, noting their role in fostering inter-school collaboration, sharing best practices, and addressing specific professional deficiencies. Using schools in St. Petersburg as examples, the article examines common challenges faced by educational institutions and proposes practical approaches to improving programs, with a focus on specific tools and case studies.

    The chapter examines active methods of teaching biology as a means of enhancing students’ cognitive activity, independence, and motivation. It reveals modern approaches to organizing the educational process, based on problem-based, project-based, research-based, and practice-oriented learning. Special attention is paid to the use of discussions, practical work, laboratory research, educational projects, excursions, group and game activities, as well as digital educational resources. It has been shown that the use of active methods contributes to the development of subject-specific and meta-subject competencies, the development of critical thinking, communication skills, the ability to analyze information, and the application of biological knowledge in practical situations. The conditions for the effective use of active methods in biology lessons have been identified: taking into account the age-related and individual characteristics of students, clearly setting goals, organizing cooperation, and objectively assessing the results of the activities.

    The problem of declining cognitive interest in mathematics among a significant part of basic school students remains acute in the context of education digitalization. The abstract nature of mathematical content, insufficient connection with real life and traditional forms of organizing learning often lead to formal acquisition of material and loss of intrinsic motivation. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate the possibilities of mathematical excursions (field, virtual and blended) as a means of developing cognitive interest of students in grades 5–9 in a digital educational environment. The methodological basis was formed by the activity approach (A.N. Leontiev, V.V. Davydov), the theory of problem-based learning (M.I. Makhmutov, I.Ya. Lerner), the concept of cognitive interest (G.I. Shchukina, N.G. Morozova, A.K. Markova) and the ideas of connectivism (G. Siemens). The paper provides a theoretical analysis of the psychological and pedagogical features of the formation of interest in mathematics among adolescents, systematizes the typology of mathematical excursions, reveals the role of digital technologies in the transformation of this method, and identifies pedagogical conditions for its effectiveness. The result of the study is the clarification of conceptual provisions significant for modern methods of teaching mathematics and the substantiation of a set of pedagogical conditions that ensure the developmental effect of mathematical excursions in the context of digitalization.

    This study addresses a pressing problem in contemporary sports psychology – the mental resilience of athletes. The aim of the study is to identify the psychological determinants and mechanisms that ensure effective adaptation and successful performance of athletes under extreme competitive conditions. It is emphasized that mental resilience constitutes a complex system of personality traits that enables an athlete to maintain an optimal functional state, concentration of attention, and self‑confidence despite the impact of stressors. The work analyzes the key psychological determinants of mental resilience, including motivation, goal‑setting, self‑efficacy, and hardiness. Particular attention is devoted to the role of cognitive processes, such as cognitive reappraisal and mindfulness, in developing stress resistance. The chapter contains a theoretical review of contemporary research in the field of sports psychology, as well as empirical data obtained through the study of the psychophysiological characteristics of highly qualified athletes. The development of mental resilience in highly qualified athletes requires a comprehensive approach that includes the development of both personal qualities and motivation, as well as the formation of effective strategies for coping with stress and self‑regulation.

    The article examines the phenomenon of «transferred» students – schoolchildren forced to change their educational institution due to systematic bullying. Based on an analysis of contemporary domestic and foreign research, two scenarios of development are revealed: a destructive one, in which changing schools exacerbates social isolation and identity crisis, and a resourceful one, in which the new context becomes a catalyst for personal growth and successful resocialization. The necessity of differentiated pedagogical support for transferred students, taking into account their victimization history and adaptive potential, is substantiated.

    The relevance of this research topic stems from the need to successfully implement import substitution policies within Russian industry amidst rapidly accelerating digitalization. The chapter aims to assess the actual performance results of import-substituting industrial operations, the challenges arising during the implementation of chosen strategic approaches, and the extent to which industrial enterprises involved in import substitution are adopting digital technologies. Issues identified include a shortage of highly skilled specialists, a persistent technological lag, and the fragmented adoption of advanced digital technologies-characteristics typical of «catch-up» and inertial development strategies. Transitioning to a transformational strategy requires additional measures to incentivize the formation of clusters and joint ventures for localizing high-tech production, expand the network of engineering centers across Russian regions, and train specialists in managing import substitution projects.

  • Assessment of the impact of ESG factors and capital structure on the market value of Russian public companies

    The paper examines the impact of ESG factors and capital structure on the market value of Russian public companies. The relevance of the study is determined by the growing importance of sustainable development for investment attractiveness, the volatility of the Russian financial market and changes in the cost of debt capital in 2022–2025. Based on data for 19 non-financial public companies for 2016–2025, a panel database of 190 observations was formed, including market capitalization, assets, debt, return on assets, leverage ratios, RAEX ESG ranks and the average annual key rate of the Bank of Russia. Using pooled regression with robust standard errors, it was found that ESG score, return on assets and company size are positively associated with market value, while the growth of Debt/Assets and the crisis period of 2022–2025 have a negative effect. The results make it possible to develop recommendations for increasing market value through ESG development, debt control and improved asset efficiency.

  • Constitutional and legal status of judges in the Russian Federation

    The judiciary in Russia is not just one branch of the state system, but an institution that must ensure that conflicts between citizens and the state are resolved in accordance with the law, not at the discretion of an official. In this structure, the judge occupies a unique position: they are obliged to follow the letter of the law, but at the same time must take into account the real consequences of their decisions for specific people. This gives rise to a special architecture of their status – they must be protected from external pressure, but at the same time remain accountable to society and the law. In recent years, the legal status of judges has come into the focus of several interrelated processes. The 2020 amendments to the Constitution changed the procedure for forming a number of judicial bodies, which affected both the appointment mechanisms and the role of the judicial community bodies. At the same time, public demand for transparency in the justice system is growing: citizens expect the process of making judicial decisions to become more transparent, and for accountability for mistakes to be real. In addition, in the professional community, the gap between formal guarantees of independence and their practical implementation is being discussed more and more actively. The subject of analysis in this work is not the list of judges’ rights and obligations per se, but how these norms are implemented in specific procedures – from the selection of candidates to disciplinary liability. Special attention is paid to gaps and contradictions that reduce trust in the judicial system and hinder a judge’s independent work.

    The article addresses the issue of developing civic identity among students of pedagogical universities as a key objective of the state youth policy. It substantiates the potential of physical culture and sports activities as a powerful resource for socialization and patriotic education. Based on the systemic and activity-based approaches, four pedagogical conditions are identified and theoretically justified: axiological reorientation of the physical education content; integration of historical, cultural, and local history components; involvement of students in sports volunteering and socially significant projects; and creation of a reflective pedagogical environment that fosters the meta competencies of a future teacher.

Two main models of applicant selection have been identified: traditional, focused on academic skills, and modern, focusing on project training. It is established that the current competitive selection system requires modernization due to general trends in higher education and society as a whole. Research has shown the need to shift the focus from assessing the professional skills developed to identifying the adaptive potential and conceptual thinking of applicants. A model for the modernization of the entrance test program is proposed, integrating traditional methods of assessing artistic literacy with modern diagnostic tools for project competencies. The developed concept aims to attract a contingent of students who meet the requirements of modern design education, and provides an objective approach to evaluating work, taking into account the diverse training of applicants and their professional self-determination.

    The chapter justifies the relevance of establishing an art museum at the Institute of Creative Industries (ICI) at Don State Technical University (DSTU) in Rostov‑on‑Don. Drawing on the long‑term experience of university museums in Russia and abroad, as well as on modern educational approaches, the author proposes considering the museum not only as a repository of cultural values, but also as a multifunctional educational and exhibition space integrated into the educational process. Special attention is paid to the potential role of the museum in shaping the professional competencies of future designers. At the stage of designing and creating the museum space, it is planned to actively involve students from various faculties, which will make it possible to implement interdisciplinary projects and ensure practice‑oriented learning. The university museum is considered a representative model reflecting the scientific achievements of teachers and the creative successes of students, which makes it an important element of the university’s corporate identity. The social mission of the planned museum is substantiated: its openness to a wide audience, active promotion and popularization among city residents and tourists. Integrating the museum into the city’s cultural space will enable it to fulfil an image‑building function, helping to enhance the university’s visibility and shape an attractive cultural image of the city. Thus, the art museum of the IKI DGTU can become a focal point for the professional community, student youth, and residents of Rostov‑on‑Don, combining educational, enlightenment, and socio‑cultural objectives within a single project.
