The key to understanding a foreign language culture is the analysis of new learning models. Pedagogical overcoming of factors hindering the adoption and understanding of another culture allows developing the country's ethnocultural potential and achieving strengthening of the social and political as well as social and economic stability of the society and contributing to a productive intercultural dialogue.

- This article highlights the main principles that should be the basis of learning the Chuvash language in educational institutions with a multinational composition of students in accordance with Federal state educational standards. Special attention is paid to the linguocultural principle of teaching the Chuvash language. Under linguistic and cultural learning refers to the students master the basics of the national culture, the ability to analyze texts containing linguistic and cultural material, the absorption value of vocabulary. The author comes to the conclusion that language teaching is unthinkable without familiarizing students with the history and culture of the Chuvash people.

- The article considers the role of culturological information in formation and development of cognitive interest for foreign language studies. A wish to study in Russia witnesses on the fact that foreign students have psychological readiness to study the Russian language, learn about Russian history and culture. The interest for Russian culture is a basis for the positive attitude to the language and a motive for studying it. As an example, the author gives topics for essays and public speeches used in classes of Russian as a foreign language.

Formation features of vocabulary units with a color designation component in the Yukagir language

- The article reveals the formation features of vocabulary units with a color designation component in the Yukagir language. The result of the study is the conclusion that the word formation of color terms in the dialects of the Yukagir language is significantly different. In the tundra dialect of the Yukagir language, the color designation system in terms of structure includes: 1) color-indicating words of the verb type; 2) color-designated words of the nominal type. In the Kolyma dialect of the Yukagir language, from the point of view of structure, color-denoting words of only a verb type are distinguished.

- The article deals with the state of both the general and the special methods of the Russian (native) language. From the standpoint of current requirements, the state of the methodology of teaching Russian language in typhoid pedagogy is analyzed, in particular, the work of such typhoid pedagogues as M.I. Zemtsovoy, V.A. Mylnikova, N.S. Kostyuchek, I.L. Morgaylik, as well as I.P. Chigrinova. The work identifies the range of problems to be solved. As an answer to one of such questions, a route for linguistic competence formation in blind adolescents in the process of learning Russian is proposed, aimed at the development of functional literacy and the implementation of correctional and developmental activities.

The symbolic meaning of the forest in the German fairy-tale

- This article attempts to show how the perception of the forest in the German language space was built and how it changed. It especially focuses on the symbolic interpretation of the forest, explains what some tress symbolize and shows the connection of the forest with the symbolism of the feminine. The article also deals with the perception of the forest in the works by romantic writers and provides examples from some romantic fairy-tales by the Brothers Grimm where the action takes place in the forest. It is worth mentioning that the titles of some fairy-tales by the Brothers Grimm are connected with the tree or with the forest.

- Comprehending and understanding a language is necessary when students are learning a new language due to the fact that people always need to communicate and interact with others in different spheres, in scientific one as well. Young scientists should be able not only to translate scientific texts, but also to be able to communicate with international colleagues, as in the XXI century science has become global, and English is the language that unites it. The article reviews some options for practicing oral scientific speaking skills in the modern world using information technologies, for example using the application for a Smartphone, «Wakie’. Proved is that the app mentioned increases students’ oral scientific speech skills along with other forms of work on a language.
