Educational environment of the kindergarten as a source of development of self-consciousness of preschool children with general disabilities of speech

- Abstract:
- The article discusses the main features of the kindergarten educational environment for the development of preschool children’s self-consciousness. The authors provide a general description of the children's self-consciousness with a general speech underdevelopment, describe the main areas of work on the development of self-awareness with this category of children. As the authors note, the development of the ability to analyze and to evaluate what is happening, as well as familiarity with various social roles, contributes to leveling existing difficulties in interacting with society in children with general speech underdevelopment, allows preschoolers to become more self-confident, to embed a positive self-concept and increase the level of claims.

- In the article the authors reflect the main theses of the author's program aimed at enriching the active vocabulary, developing coherent, grammatically correct dialogical and monologue speech in older preschool children with disabilities in the process of forming ideas about the shape, size, rhythm, amount, number, parts and whole, space and time. This work makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the correctional and developmental process in compensatory oriented groups of children with a general underdevelopment of speech.

Problems of teaching Russian in schools for blind and visually impaired children

- The article deals with the state of both the general and the special methods of the Russian (native) language. From the standpoint of current requirements, the state of the methodology of teaching Russian language in typhoid pedagogy is analyzed, in particular, the work of such typhoid pedagogues as M.I. Zemtsovoy, V.A. Mylnikova, N.S. Kostyuchek, I.L. Morgaylik, as well as I.P. Chigrinova. The work identifies the range of problems to be solved. As an answer to one of such questions, a route for linguistic competence formation in blind adolescents in the process of learning Russian is proposed, aimed at the development of functional literacy and the implementation of correctional and developmental activities.

Analysis of misuse of parts of speech in English writing by Chinese English learners

- This paper analyzes from the point of view of a negative transfer of the native language the misuses of parts of speech by Chinese students in a letter in English; the authors also find out the main causes of misunderstandings. Based on the research and analysis two preliminary proposals are made in order to help Chinese people avoid such kinds of errors. The authors point out that both teachers and students should pay enough attention to this kind of mistake and apply correct and effective methods to teach and learn the English language.

- Comprehending and understanding a language is necessary when students are learning a new language due to the fact that people always need to communicate and interact with others in different spheres, in scientific one as well.
