    Abstract:
    The study is devoted to a tool used in the formation of the motivational component of cadets of a maritime university, which has a great importance on the formation of their professional competence, especially when professional training is conducted in a mixed format. In our model of formation of the motivational component of professional competence of cadets of a maritime university in a blended learning environment, professiographic monitoring is used as an assessment and diagnostic tool, which is little studied at present. With its help, it becomes possible not only to dynamically quantify the level of the motivational component, but also to adjust the educational process.

    Due to the rapid development of information technology and artificial intelligence, the use of neural networks is becoming more widespread and significant in various fields of research and training. In higher mathematics, neural networks can be used to improve the learning process of students. For example, they can help create online courses tailored to the individual needs of students. Neural networks can analyze the results of students' work and offer individual recommendations for studying specific topics or problem areas. In addition, neural networks can be used to develop intelligent systems for automatic task verification and pattern recognition. This can help teachers in the process of evaluating students' work and providing feedback. Neural networks can also diagnose problems in understanding the material and offer additional materials or exercises to consolidate skills. Neural networks can also be used to study complex mathematical problems and develop new approaches and methods in higher mathematics. Their ability to process large amounts of data and find complex patterns can help in the study of mathematical structure and the creation of new mathematical models.     Abstract:
    The chapter presents a complex of formative capacities for volunteer activities for the development of university students. Based on the methodology of a holistic approach to the analysis of the pedagogical process in the sphere of student volunteering, as well as empirical data from a survey of students and experts on volunteering, the authors propose a construct of the pedagogical functions of this sphere within the framework of a three-component structure of functions – developmental, educational and upbringing. The developmental capacities of volunteering are represented by such functions as: identification, referential, integrating, cognitive, orientation, reflective, communicative, empathy, facilitation, catharsis, functions of self-disclosure and self-consciousness. The educational component of volunteering includes the functions of social competence, as well as civil, legal and cultural competence, a team-building function, the functions of project modeling, professional adaptation, professional testing, professional-practical, career and self-education functions. The upbringing influence of volunteering is expressed in such functions as: social-motivating, innovative-initiative, harmonizing, human-istic, labor, value-worldview, spiritual-moral, functions of hardiness, self-organization, self-determination, and self-formation. The study concluded about the leading role of the moral function of volunteering for students’ self-realization.   • The importance of electronic musical creativity in the training of a music teacher at a university

    Abstract:
    The article summarizes the experience of training music teachers, combining the traditional music-pedagogical content of university educational programs with the introduction of students to various forms of electronic music creativity. The relevance is due to the fact that electronic music creativity based on the mastery of music-computer technologies and electronic musical instruments is of great importance in modern music art and education. In this regard, there is a need for special training of teachers for professional activity in this direction, which is confirmed by scientific research of scientists devoted to various aspects of electronic music creativity (I. B. Gorbunova, I. M. Krasilnikov, A. A. Pankova, V. O. Malashchenko, etc.). At the same time, the study of the content of bachelor's degree programs in pedagogical universities of Russia has shown that electronic music creativity is not sufficiently reflected in the educational process. The aim of the research is to provide theoretical grounding and practical confirmation of the need to include disciplines related to electronic music creativity in the educational programs of pedagogical universities. The study, conducted in 2013-2023, involved students of the Faculty of Art and Music Education of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University. Research methods: theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature; analysis of the current state of university practice in the field of the problem under study; empirical research methods (observation, conversation, survey); retrospective analysis of their own teaching experience; analysis of the obtained data. As a result of the conducted work the insufficient attention to the indicated problem in the system of university training of teachers-musicians was revealed, the necessity of introducing students to electronic musical creativity in the process of training in the university was substantiated, the effectiveness of disciplines of this orientation in the development of cognitive interest in learning activities and creative self-realization of students was confirmed, classroom and extracurricular forms of introducing students to electronic musical creativity were shown. Conclusions. Mastering of electronic music creation by future teachers is a necessary condition for the professional training of a modern music teacher. It will contribute to the successful training of teachers who are able to professionally use the possibilities of music and computer technologies in the pedagogical process.

  • Relation of academic difficulties with individual characteristics of students

    The chapter considers the relationship of students' self-reports on the presence and overcoming of academic difficulties in the process of learning at the university with the motives of learning, self-assessment of emotional and personal well-being and academic performance. The authors' pilot questionnaire aimed at identifying students' academic difficulties and opportunities to overcome them in the educational process at the university, as well as the methods «Diagnostics of Students' Learning Motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004) and «Self-assessment of Emotional and Personal Well-being» (Karapetyan, Glotova, 2020) and self-report of students on their academic performance for the previous semesters were used. The main part of the study was conducted by an online survey in a Google-form on a sample of 75 students of different ages, genders, courses and learning profiles, 40 students participated in the additional part of the study. Data processing was carried out using correlation analysis (according to Spearman). As a result of the study, multiple significant correlations of the academic difficulties with motives of learning, academic performance and emotional and personal well-being of students were obtained; a number of differences in the correlations of academic difficulties with the motives of learning of «activity spectrum» and «social spectrum» were revealed.

    For a long time, higher education in Russia was organized within the framework of the Bologna system «bachelor's-master's». However, the implementation of the FSES HE according to foreign standards did not give the desired effect, since domestic organizations were not interested in graduates of domestic universities, as in professionals. As a result, higher education ceased to exist as a professional education, and society lost the specialists it needed in the person of university graduates who were trained as bachelors. At the same time, the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education were constantly «improved», since they did not provide the necessary quality of training for university graduates. However, such a reform, «squeezed» by the framework of the Bologna system, did not take into account the needs of the domestic economy, Russian organizations in the specialists they needed. At the same time, a large number of commercial universities appeared that did not train specialists, but earned money from it. And today, even in many state universities there is a set of students for paid education, as a result of which not all talented young people can enter a university, since there are not enough budget places for them, and those who can pay for education go to paid education. The author emphasizes the need to ensure the technological and economic independence of Russia, which cannot be provided without the appropriate organization of students' education in domestic universities. And this must be done urgently and without «looking back» to foreign «wishes».

    Abstract:
    One of the manifestations of subjectivity of university students is their involvement in learning, actively studied in foreign and in Russian pedagogy, psychology and sociology of education. Various components of involvement in learning are distinguished, among which there is a motivational component. The purpose of the study was a comparative analysis of two methods for measuring the motivation of learning, based on different theoretical approaches, as well as an analysis of the relationship between academic performance as an effective component of involvement in learning and the motivational component of involvement measured by two different tools. The methods «Diagnostics of the motivation of students' learning» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014) were used. In addition, students gave information on academic performance for past semesters. The study, conducted by an online survey in Google form, involved 115 university students aged 18–25 years. Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) and factor analysis were used in the data processing. As a result of the study, multiple significant correlations between scales of motives of the learning of two methods were obtained; in factor analysis, the scales were evenly distributed between the two factors; it was revealed that in each of the methods there are scales significantly correlating with the academic performance of students as an effective component of their involvement in learning; the motives of the learning are considered in relation to the types of activities of students, within which the actions of the learning are implemented.

Regardless of the existed restrictions, an increasing internationalization of performing arts education urges the creation of new methodological approaches in curriculum design.     In the chapter describes the experience of prevention of maladaptation of first-year students, including the diagnosis of personality traits, identification of students at risk and psycho-corrective measures. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the problem of effective adaptation and prevention of maladaptation of first-year students, the importance of creating targeted systematic work with first-year students to prevent maladaptation. Materials and methods of research. In order to identify the risk group of students for various types of maladaptation and develop recommendations to reduce the level of maladaptation in first-year students, we conducted diagnostics of the personal characteristics of first-year students using the method of multifactorial personality research SMIL L.N. Sobchik Results and discussion of the results of the study. Based on the results of psychodiagnostics, we have developed recommendations for the risk group for hyposthenic /depressive type of maladjustment and for the risk group for the type of maladjustment «autism», including individual consultations, the inclusion of students in groups of psychological trainings on relevant topics, consultations for teachers and curators of groups on individual approach in interaction with students at risk, participation students in the work of a psychological circle in order to improve the psychological culture of students, etc. Conclusions. The work done made it possible to reduce the percentage of maladaptation of students and increase the efficiency of adaptation of first-year students to the process of studying at the university, which manifested itself in a significant decrease in the percentage of students expelled by the result of the 1st year of study.

    The article presents the results of students' project-research activities carried out within the work of the scientific circle and project gas pedal of the Department of Human Resources Management at Volga Region Institute of Management named after P. A. Stolypin – branch of Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. P.A. Stolypin Volga Institute of Management – branch of Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. The aim of the article is to study and analyze the models of professionalism of managerial activity of famous Russian and Soviet statesmen in the research-historical retrospective. The material of the manuscript is an experimental approbation of the method of reconstruction of the psychological profile of famous historical figures. In particular, the famous Soviet aircraft designer S.P. Korolev. The methods of research include the analysis and synthesis of biographical and autobiographical material, questioning of experts with the help of standardized interviewing techniques. Also, the article considers in detail the stages of professional development according to E.A. Klimov, including 8 phases. R.M. Belbin's «Group Roles» test identified the dominant roles in team interaction. By the method of Fetiskin, V.V. Kozlov, G.M. Manuilov styles of professional-activity communication were revealed, psychodynamics was measured by A. Bass and A. Darkey questionnaire. Conclusions on the set of competencies and psychological characteristics that ensure the successful implementation of professional activity are presented as the results of the study. In particular, the thesis about the uniqueness of the biographical contour that forms an individual managerial style is expressed.

    Abstract:
    The need to study academic engagement and its psychological components is due to the fact that some university students do not study in full force, do not master the necessary knowledge and competencies. The goal was to highlight the psychological components of student engagement in learning, as well as to study the connections between them and academic performance as an effective component of engagement. The methods used were “Emojis” (V.V. Gizhitsky), “Diagnostics of educational motivation of students” (N.Ts. Badmaeva), “Self-assessment of emotional and personal well-being” (G.A. Glotova, L.V. Karapetyan), pilot author's questionnaires “Inclusion in learning” and “Academic microdeviations”. Also, students gave information about the performance of past semesters and the course of study at present. The pilot study conducted by the online survey method involved 83 university students aged 16–26 years. Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) was used in the data processing. As a result of the study, multiple reliable correlations were obtained between psychological indicators of student engagement in learning, such as attitude to learning, motives of learning, inclusion in learning, emotional and personal well-being, behavior of students in classes in situations of fatigue or in the absence of interest in the studied material; it was revealed that the indicators of attitude to learning, inclusion in learning in seminar and practical classes, educational, cognitive and professional motives of learning, as well as “conditionally productive” academic microdeviation are significantly positively correlated with academic performance.

  • Formation of a Personality of Value-patriotic Orientation Among Cadets of Military Universities

    Abstract:
    The formation of a value-patriotic orientation is considered as the most important task in the formation of the personality of cadets of military universities. In the personality structure of cadets of military universities, the defining values are: patriotism, social and political activity, desire to serve in the forces, love of sports, need for movement, interest in physical culture, hard work in physical education classes, special knowledge of physical culture, social status, perseverance in achieving goals, presence of wit, perseverance of character, sociability, the attitude of fellow students, friends among others. It is revealed that the level of sports qualifications of cadets of military universities, in comparison with low, contributes less to the formation of value-patriotic orientations according to the following parameters characterizing the personality: patriotism, social and political activity, readiness to accomplish a feat in the name of the Motherland, readiness to work in the name of the Motherland, interest in politics, desire to serve in the forces, a sense of duty and obligation to comrades, teachers. The level of sports qualifications has little impact on these values. Cadets with low sports qualifications in relation to highly qualified athletes have a greater tendency to manifest negative personal values characteristic of this group: they put their interests above others, more often get into unpleasant life situations, conflict with others and show great aggressiveness. Means of pedagogical influence should be used In the formation of positive attitudes of patriotic orientation. The paper presents a methodology for the formation of value-patriotic orientation among cadets of military universities. This methodology includes the principles, content, use of innovative forms, methods and means of pedagogical influence.
